We were able to purchase some nice light fixtures for our new build home at a very amazing price. It sort of hit or miss for what is there. They have specials on the weekend sometimes where you can get a 50% off coupon. Watch for sales and specials. It seems like when they get corporate buyouts you can get some really sweet deals on almost brand new things. It is a little dingy, dusty and creepy feeling sometimes though as it is located next to the railroad tracks... i've been back a few times and have not found the selection of the corporate buyout items like I did two years ago, but maybe I am just not timing my visits right. The Denver store does seem to be the best one as compared to the Wheat Ridge and Aurora location. Happy shopping! read more

This for the Rio grande location. I have been coming here for years and selection has changed dramatically. But nearly as much relevant inventory for me as a fix and flipper. They have stocked many isle with cheap China type household sundries td I can get anywhere else for same price. read more

They have great things for really reasonable prices! I got a decent coach, love seat and comfy rocking chair for 1/2 of what I would have paid at AFW! read more

Been shopping here for more than a decade, met lots of great employees there. But. I was treated very rudely today by Jared, not sure how to spell it, he refused to tell me. After trying to double the price of something already quoted, he was condescending and laughed at me when I tried to return something two minutes after purchase bc I did not have a receipt. When I told him he was being rude and patronizing, instead of apologizing, he immediately went on the offensive and told me I was rude. I returned almost everything I bought and won't be coming back till he's off the payroll. Thank you. Peter M read more

The nature of this store is hit or miss but I recently found exactly what I needed in kitchen cabinets for $309, a deal. The workers are extremely nice and helpful. read more

If you're in need of composite plank flooring, this location had literally a ton of it! Nice colors and all new in boxes. We found a great bargain on a front porch bench. This particular location just seems to be cleaner and better laid out than other locations that seem more like rows of garage sale items. Of course, they do have used items, lots of electrical stuff, appliances, furniture bargains, and kitchen cabinets. Oh, and if you're in the market for white naked female manikins, this is your place! HAHA! read more

Furniture resale has lots of options. Some items were too expensive, in my opinion. I wanted more vintage finds but it's not really the place for that, it seemed. read more

I applied here in the company attempted to do an illegal background check on me. They went further back than seven years. They actually went back 13 years. I actually tried to read to them the law from the actual Colorado website, but they still said that they had the right to perform an illegal background check. This makes no since I have never experienced any thing like this. This is definitely 100% discrimination. You cannot go further back then seven years for a background check in Colorado no matter what and you can't say that just because kids come into the store you're allowed to do that background check that does not work that has to be for professional positions like teachers after school care and things like that and no, there is not anything nasty on my background but they had an issue with a DWI for 13 years ago and that's illegal. You're not allowed to go back that far. I don't even drink anymore. I found a better job, but these things need to be talked about companies do not get to break the law and they broke the law. I filed a complaint. I don't know if they got fined, but the complaint was taken very seriously on a sidenote. Also, before you buy something from their check the price they are known to sell used items for a lot more than the item brand new. -10 stars -10 stars. read more

I love thrifting! I love going to the different thrift stores throughout the area to see what I can find. I always find some great things here! The staff is always helpful and friendly. They usually have a great selection of furniture to shop through. Sometimes I find pieces to get creative with and other times the furniture is great the way it is! They also have a ton of other items to shop through! You really never know what you will find here and I love it! read more

This place is essentially the equivalent for a home building/restoration projects as Goodwill is to a clothing/apparel store. If you value your time at all, it's difficult to recommend this place as it is completely hit or miss whether they'll have a product of the nature and kind you seek and, more importantly, if you do find your desired item whether that item will be of acceptable quality and priced sufficiently less than the price available at Lowes or Home Depot to make the extra time and effort worthwhile. For people who find low quality acceptable, and have lots of time on their hands, perhaps saving $5 or $10 will justify spending an hour or more of additional time. Count me out. read more

Certainly have to keep coming by to check out new items that come in! Some prices are way too much, but most are reasonable

I donated several items and had them picked up. The original quote for picking up was about $200. When they arrived here they told me it would be $600. I got the price down to $500. IF YOU ASK FOR PICKUP YOU MUST LIST EVERY SINGLE ITEM, no matter how small, to get an accurate price. Don't get fooled!!! read more

Great selection of materials for repurposing and redoing home projects. Also a lot of smaller products to redo the honey list of any man

I am a ReStore convert!!! I am truly addicted to the stores and the concept! To know my purchase is giving back is the first plus in my book! My In-Laws got us hooked, they remodeled their home and bought the majority from ReStore! We recently bought a new home and needed A LOT of items! Oven, cooktop, washer/dryer and rugs. We found it ALL and MORE!!! And at truly amazing prices!!! As an artist, I will doubled over with joy at finding a vintage drafting table!!! SCORE of a lifetime! Take your time, travel to all the stores-it is worth it and more! The staff are AMAZING!!! We ended up with a couch we were not looking for-but fell in LOVE with. The staff we so happy for us and our finds. I look forward to our future trips to pick up lamps/tile/sinks...who knows! I refuse to limit myself knowing how much is InStore at ReStore (LOL-couldn't resist!) read more

After moving into our prime location in the Denver Highlands, we were couch-less for a number of weeks. One summer day I returned home from a long days work in Boulder only to find the most hideous looking couch slithering softly on my beautiful bamboo wood living room floor. In disgust I asked my boyfriend "Ahhhhhhh, (image the face in Munch's Painting, The Scream) where did you find this banana slug mess?" Ok, actually, I read in "Women are From Mars and Men are from Venus" that I can not degrade a man's decision process, so instead I said, "Wow honey, it looks like you got so much done today! And oh my, what is this precious new couch? Did you go out a buy this couch for us? I sure hope you didn't have to sacrifice too much to purchase it! Where on earth did you find such a unique piece?" My boyfriend then answered confidently as he plopped down next to me on the couch, "I got it at Habitat for Humanity. I paid only $40 bucks and it used to be in a sorority house" He lifted his eyebrows up in down at this point and started smirking "What a deal huh?" To say the least, there was no action for him on that couch, ever. Don't let my couch story lead you in the wrong direction however, Habitat for Humanity is one of the best resources for Flippers and Greenies a-like and offers awesome finds at great prices every day of the week except Sundays (it is a religious organization remember). Find everything here from tools, bed frames, doors, appliances, tables, chairs, lighting, fans, bikes, trikes, scooters, TV's, and knick-knacks. They even have a section where you can trade in your boyfriend for a new one after they buy the ugliest couch that Habitat has ever seen section. This trade-in section often has a long line, and you are not necessarily promised a trade that is equally attractive or the same age as your trade-in. Strategy: Weekends are crowded, and the good items come in continuously throughout the week. Try dropping in there on the way home from work or on your lunch break to find a real treasure that has not been gobbled up yet. I attach a picture of the old couch. yuck. * Glorious star number one is for awarded to Habitat because it is a place of refuge for the unpopular garage sale items ** Star duo is granted to this humane organization for providing itself to Denver as yet another Greenie Resource, allowing flippers and decorators alike the opportunity to take one person's trash and make it their trashy treasure *** Welcome to star three: he is handed out to Habitat for their lack of taste in couches and their ability to make boyfriend seem color and style blind **** Star five is for awarded to habitat for being a successful non-profit which also builds houses all over the country for those in need ***** Last but not lease, star five is for having multiple locations in Denver... inviting easy access and a place for flippers to go procrastinate when their electrician falls through the roof of their kitchen read more

Habitat Denver ReStore - Me ugly couch from cool store - Furniture Stores Near Me - Denver, Colorado

We visited habitat restore in Denver and had an exceptional time finding all of the hidden gems. I very strongly recommend this place if you're looking for good deals and quality furniture and great prices read more

This is, far and away, the best Restore I've ever visited, over a few states. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Great selection, well-organized, and well-priced on most items I considered. Such a great community asset! read more

I called habitat to pick up some donated items I had a brand new couch, 2 cherrywood benches & a bed and dresser and numerous utensils and kitchen items they said they did not have time to pick up my items and it would be 2 to 3 weeks out. Wow this is a great place! I always supposed that Habitat for Humanity, The Store, would feature beat up stuff and dirty bath tubs. Au contraire! You'll find garden items, complete kitchen cabinet, used appliances, some furniture, moldings, spindles, barristers, mill work, windows, hardware such as door pulls and lock sets. And its all so orderly and reasonably clean. SO Organized. You'll also find some killer bargains. Like painter's tape for $2.00. Ok its green, not blue. But so what?? Medium sized drop cloths for $1.50. What a great store! read more

Teribble experience for the stuff. No bathroom because of COVID-19. Stuff unfriendly, they look like they really don't want to be there. Well organized materials for the individual willing to dig through and get a smokin' hot deal. Like many salvage material warehouses, it pays to go often as items get donated sporadically. Indoor and outdoor stock incl. counter tops. Range of used power and hand tools, paints, hardware, furniture. Well lit which helps to find items. TIP: come armed with measurements and a tape measure as not all dimensions marked on doors, windows are accurate. Several other locations- all having various items on hand. Fairly easy to get to- nearest major cross road is Santa Fe and Ellsworth. Plenty of parking on street. Loading dock makes large pick ups easy. read more

One day you will have something I need... until that day happens, I will continue to stalk your Facebook updates. This location is very large and always has interesting items to touch and check out. (Yes, I am one of those shoppers). The drawback to this location is the parking isn't great, but you are also going to a downtown location so it isn't surprising. Much larger than their highlands ranch location. Definitely worth dropping by if you are looking to add a unique piece to your house. read more

This store is much better than the Habitat out in Wheat Ridge. The staff works to help you, they are quick and assist you in any way they can. The selection is wide, and even though the store stocks used and donated items, they work with you to help you get what you want, the items that meet your needs. This in stark contrast to the other store in Wheat Ridge. read more

Do not shop here!!!! I repeat do not shop here! I found a table for my sisters first apartment alone. I asked a sales assistant for help because the table had no price he handed me a sticker for $25 after waiting for the sticker for 20 minutes. When I went to check out a manager said that $25 was not the right price and I would have to pay $50. The manager with glasses was rude and so disrespectful I will never shop there again! Get things priced how you want and let other employees know not to price if your going to change your mind and them be hella rude about it! Worst customer service ever..... ever! read more

They have nice furniture and it's pretty reasonably priced. I've purchased several items here. They also use the SpotOn app, which is cool. Unfortunately they don't do any kind of local delivery. Delivery is why I deducted a star. read more

Great store. It's like a Home Depot thrift store. Hard to find but worth the effort.

Im brand new to denver, and receive a very nice welcome at the restore today. I went in to check out prices on kitchen appliances and other furnishings for my new place, and stumbled on to the exact mini dishwasher I've been dreaming of, but with no price tag on it. The associate I asked to help me was friendly, upbeat, and really nice to chat with while he mulled over the appliance and gave me a (really great) price. When he loaded it into my car, he seemed genuinely happy that I was so excited about this stupid little dishwasher. I look forward to coming back for the rest of my furnishings! read more

I need to preface this review by saying that I did not deal directly with Habitat for Humanity. The problem is the company they use to pick up donations - Resupply. I have been trying to work with Resupply to pick up my basement full of nice furniture to donate to the organization. Habitat for Humanity lists them as one of two donation options (which is actually the PAID option as I need help getting the furniture out of the basement.). All I can say is that Resupply is extremely incompetent. I sat around for two days waiting for their movers to arrive. Both days I got an email at 5:30 pm that they would not be able to make it that day, but could they come tomorrow. On the morning of the second day, I received an email from someone entirely different at Resupply who did not have a clue what had been discussed with another one of their employees the day before. They do not communicate with each other. And the worst part is that there is no way to speak to anyone directly. All communication is done via their website - through a chatbox - or email. If this was a matter of being patient with volunteers, I absolutely would be. But this is the paid option offered on Habitat for Humanity's website and I was willing to pay over $500 for this service. My recommendation is for Habitat for Humanity to not offer this service and for consumers not to do business with Resupply. read more

On Friday my granddaughters and I went to Habitat for Humanity. We spent a great deal of time looking at all the great Halloween costumes. Upon driving away, about 5:30pm, we noticed they had lost their money from the cans they had just taking for recycling, $15. This is a lot for these little girls. They were planning on going to ice cream when we were done!! So on the off chance we could find it we went back to look around. We looked with no luck. So I went to the cashier and asked her. On the side of her register she pulled out the $15! She said a couple had turned it in, she pointed them out. I thanked her and the couple. Thank you to everyone involved for showing my granddaughters that there are good people in the world. I could tell the cashier was holding out that money in case someone asked about it so I know she was being honest! And the couple was great for turning it in. On that day I was doing a lot of lesson teaching about different neighborhoods, good people, etc. And you all helped teach some really good lessons. read more
