Walking in felt like coming home to Mom's for dinner. It is warm , inviting, and cozy. The food is absolutely delicious- all made from scratch family recipes. The macaroni and cheese was the best I've ever had- and the barbecued chicken was really good too! The service was excellent- this is a family owned and run restaurant- with the sweetest Mom and daughter duo. You can feel and taste the love they are serving up. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return next time we are in Daytona.

This is an itty bitty food truck on the side of the road in the parking lot of Division 3(I think it's 3) Weapons. We live 40 minutes or so from here and make the trip out here EVERY single time we have a craving for BBQ. What I have tried: Ribs: Fall of the bone meat, amazing flavor and I could almost drink the homemade BBQ sauce Pulled Pork: Smoked to perfection, great flavor + of course, that BBQ again Mac n Cheese: a perfect cheesy goodness, but not too cheesy. Great flavor, always hot and delicious Baked Beans: these could be dessert (only if they are out of banana pudding) they have the best flavor of any baked beans I have had - my husbands favorite Coleslaw: not your typical coleslaw dressing but oh man, again - flavor is on point. It goes great on top of the pulled pork too Potato Salad: my husband loved it, great chunks of potatoes - just not my first choice, but that's ok because I have a hard enough time making up my mind on the other sides! Now, the banana pudding... we heard about the banana pudding from friends before we tried this place almost a year ago...however, they were always sold out when we went. We got to try it today and it was worth the wait . It was actually so good that we waited for them to make another batch (they sold out while we were eating) to be able to take 2 of them home for later. Moral of the story: get the banana pudding. Make sure you check this place out. Lady Suga + her son are both super sweet and always thankful for the business too!

Hispanic food options like "Arroz con gandules y pernil" are great, but are very expensive for takeout. A plate like this with a fountain drink will come up near $20 per plate, a price I would not pay for considering how cheap it would be. At Lelo's we got 4 FULL plates with 4 drinks that totaled near $50. The food quality was very good. As someone who has parents from the homeland who are picky about their pernil, they said it was great. Take that for what it's worth. Should you be off I-4 coming or leaving Orlando, I highly suggest you try this place. Worth your bang for your buck!

I went with yellow rice, red beans, and sweet plantains. My wife ordered the chicken combo with a side of yellow rice and yuca (her first time trying yuca!). The lady helping us (pretty sure it was the owner) was incredibly friendly and patient, guiding us through the menu like old friends. We paid, grabbed a table, and dug in. My wife took one bite of the rotisserie chicken and declared it the best she's had in ages--juicy, perfectly seasoned, and falling off the bone. No surprise there; we spotted those massive rotisserie ovens spinning away, so chicken is clearly their specialty! She then tried the yuca (boiled and crispy-edged, I assume) and loved it--said it was buttery and addictive. Her yellow rice had tasty chunks of different meats mixed in, and she couldn't stop raving about the flavor. I mixed my yellow rice (a different style from hers) with the red beans on the plate--pure comfort food heaven, rich, savory, and perfectly balanced. The sweet plantains? Outstanding. Caramelized just right, sweet but not overpowering, soft inside with that ideal crisp edge. Every bite was perfection. The place had a great vibe too--clean bathrooms, lively Spanish beats playing, and a casual, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We're already planning our next visit to try more dishes (that mofongo and rotisserie chicken platter are calling our names!). If you're craving authentic Puerto Rican BBQ and sides done right, Lelo's is a must-stop. Highly recommend--5 stars all the way!

The menu is short, the options limited - but what they do, they do Well. The prices are higher than I'd expect, but perhaps it is their location, local rent, and fierce area competition from many many other restaurants. I got the burnt ends, a 4 oz portion was fine since I got two sides also. The sides were $3.99 ish and that was asking a lot, still tasty, just not the amount I'd normally pay $4 for, hence the 4 stars, not 5 rating. The burnt ends were small bites, beautifully sauced and not too soft or too firm. The smoked Mac and cheese was delicious, but I encountered a piece of bbq chicken in it. I don't know if that's the recipe or cross contamination, but beware food allergy peeps. The green beans were savory, not overly wet, and a good balance of vegetables in an otherwise meat and carb heavy menu. My friends got the sliced beef, and similar sides, although one person got the coleslaw which was supposed to be fresh made and crisp, but was watery and soggy - couldn't not finish them. Would I go back again? Yes of course, very tasty, but I'd have more clear expectations of what I'm getting for the price. Note that they had a robust phone order line, so they are still super popular. Plenty of small tables inside to eat, or larger outdoor patio tables (but windy) to eat at and enjoy the adorable downtown or sunset views.

You order at the counter and receive food when you pay. I enjoyed the pulled pork, mac and cheese, green beans, and cornbread. The pork did not have a ton of flavor and the cornbread was flavorless. Terrible Customer Service & Repeated Disrespect…read more Unfortunately, after multiple experiences here, I can no longer recommend or support this establishment. Being that Deltona does not have many Caribbean restaurants, my mother has continued trying to support this small business despite several issues with incorrect or incomplete orders over time. The biggest issue is not even always the food, it's the customer service from the man working the counter. Every single time we've had to address a missing item or incorrect order, he has been rude, dismissive, and disrespectful instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally. Today was the final straw. My mother waited over an hour for 3 orders, only to realize that part of the food she already paid for was missing. She then had to drive back to the restaurant to get the missing items. When I explained that it was unfair for her to wait an additional 25 minutes after already spending over an hour there, the employee immediately became defensive, cut us off while speaking, raised his voice, and was once again extremely disrespectful. At this point, this is no longer an isolated incident. This has become a consistent pattern every time there is an issue with an order. Customers should not be treated poorly simply for asking for the food they paid for or trying to correct a mistake. I truly wanted to support this business, but repeated bad experiences and unacceptable customer service have made that impossible. I will no longer be recommending this restaurant to anyone.

You order a surprise meal through the app. It was Sunday and they offer a Sunday dinner so I had high hopes for my order of two dinners. The chicken was freshly prepared and hot and the meals stayed that way until I got home. I liked that the jerk chicken was not too spicy. Definitely full of flavor and the peas and rice was a nice combination. The second meal was a comforting meal. Two dark pieces of chicken and a scoop of mashed with the simmered northern beans.
