Quite a decent addition to the IOM foodie scene - especially due to it being in a really great spot right down on the north quay (as you can see from my photos the views are fantastic!)
Basically just one big room with a kitchen out the back, we ordered from their fish heavy menu with me really enjoying the scallop and lobster fritter to start off with. I found the rack of lamb to finish fairly enjoyable but nothing too ground breaking.
Even though I was lucky I wasn't paying (thanks Dad) I did find it a bit overpriced at being £37.50 for 2 courses and £45 for 3. At these prices I'd be expecting something a bit more wow-filled as opposed to decent homestyle cooked food.
I also thought the beer selection could do with some work, just rubbish generic lagers and one bushy's ale served warm...plus the wine by the glass menu was pretty limited. No pinot noir...
Overall a nice night and enjoyable, very friendly waitress. read more
