One of the best, if not the best, restaurant on the island. Started with a Blue Cheese Souffle ( a special that day) and it was great. For a main course, I went with another special, a seafood medley. It included wonderful fish, manx scallops (also perfectly cooked) and tempura lobster. The lobster was my favorite, as you could still get the full flavor of the lobster and the tempura added to it rather than just make it feel like it came from a chip shop. Very hard to do classy, AAA, fried food but they pulled it off.
The wine list also a big plus, nice selection at quite reasonable prices.
Service was stellar, very good pacing between courses and professional without being stuffy. Again, one of my favorite dining experiences on the island (and would be very good almost anywhere). read more
