Disappointed with my experience at The Good Feet Store in Sandy, Utah I went to the Good Feet Store in Sandy on Monday, October 13, 2025, hoping to get some relief for my hurting feet. The customer service was friendly and the staff seemed nice, but unfortunately, the product did not work for me at all. After using the inserts, not only do my feet still hurt, but now my lower and upper back hurt as well. I've had the worst two nights of pain since wearing them. The lady who helped me told me I had a 60-day trial, but the purchasing process felt rushed and confusing. They had me fill out a store credit application and told me to "sign here and here" without giving me a chance to read the store's purchase contract. She quickly printed it, folded it, and told me to come back in 60 days -- I didn't even get to understand what I was signing. I was also disappointed to find out that the insoles are mass-produced, not custom-made, yet they cost almost $2,500. For that price, I expected a personalized product or at least something that didn't cause me more pain. I'll be going back today, Wednesday, October 16, 2025, to ask for my money back because I honestly don't think my body can handle 60 days of this "trial." I would recommend anyone considering this store to be very careful. read more

The overall experience I had at the store was great. They did the fitting/tested my walking in the inserts/etc. The only downside is that I had no idea what "the system" would cost before I started. I even asked how much it would cost half way through the fitting and was told that I would be able to see the price after the fitting was done at the cash register when I check out. When I finished I went up to the register and was told the standard system (which is a set of strengthener, Relaxer, Comfort insoles) was going to cost $1,653.81 Wow! That is a lot of money for some plastic inserts. If I was seriously suffering I would consider it but short of that I'll stick with the $50 Dr. Sholes inserts. You can use your HSA for this purchase but I have a hard time justifying the cost for what I am getting. If you are a runner with hip pain these insoles are worth every penny! Cheaper than a hip surgery, and that's where I was headed in my process and I'm only 43. I've been an avid runner for 25 yrs, marathon... half m... tris. And running for my own mental health. It was very sad to me to think I may have to stop. But after having g our 2nd child AMA (advanced maternal) my hips never felt quite the same. For 6 + yrs I've been in pain with my left hip. And no amount of yoga, joint pills, 8 weeks of NOT working out and resting, chiropractor has alleviated the pain as much as the inserts soles I purchased. I'm on week 6 or 7 and am only getting better every week!! I'll send random texts of "Hallelujahs" to the nice gal whom fitted me. She was AMAZING and very educational. Yes, be prepared to INVEST some money into the process and the inserts. You have to ask yourself, what is it worth to you? This product absolutely works. I have had three imprints made over a period of months and have seen so much positive change. My feet feel better, too. The staff at the State Street location in Sandy, Utah is so professional and friendly and helpful. The only downside is the cost! I can see no earthly reason for the orthotics to cost $500 a set and you have to buy three sets?! This keeps me from recommending the product to folks I know would benefit. I realize we live in a capitalist society and the product is patented (therefore no competition) but really? $1500?! read more

Thier advertisements cleverly tell you about their personalized fitting. This should not be confused with a custom fitting. It turns out you only have 3 choices. But the claim is they are based on the perfect foot. Another exercise they do is have you stand on the supports on the ground (but not in your shoe) they compare this to standing on the ground without shoes. Both of these configurations are not how their product is used in real life. If you need a custom orthotics go to a pediatrist . If I can use orthotics that are not custom it is better to go find off the shelf orthotics at REI or online. You will get more choices for a fraction of the cost. read more

Entered The Good Feet Store in Sandy barely able to walk. Thanks to Derek I left with no pain. Thanks to their life time warranty I was able to increase the supports as my feet changed over the next couple of months. I am finally free of my plantar fasciitis among some other pains in my legs, hips and lower back. Derek took so much time with me, even texting to see how I was and willing to see me immediate. These inserts are simply life changing!! read more

DO NOT GET A GIFT CARD AT THIS STORE! DO NOT.......They have a (mal)practice of refusing to refund such cards. On 11/2/21, I bought a $400 gift card (big investment for me) to give my son as a combined Birthday and Christmas present He was in a bad motorcycle accident 2 yrs ago; everything below his waist was. broken or fractured. He had to go back to work as an R.N. but 12 hr shifts on his feet leave him with pain and exhaustion. I thought the Good Feet orthodics might help. I did not realize until I visited for Christmas that he already had medical advice and did not want to use Good Feet orthodics. But when I called to get a refund on the card, I was told the store will not refund gift cards! Unused. That is a $400 theft ! My husband heard about the good feet store on a radio commercial. He was immediately intrigued because I had been suffering from a terrible case of planter fasciitis for over 6 months. It was agony on most days and barely tolerable the rest. I was very skeptical because I was assuming surgery was my only option after trying multiple home health rehabilitation tactics and countless over- the- counter insoles that claimed to help. My drawer was full of them. Nothing had worked. I walked into the Sandy store( or rather( I limped and gimped) and got some instant relief, nice sales people, professional service and I really wanted to believe the associate when he said he has seen his product work miracles for people in pain. My husband and I looked at each other and decided to spare no expense. This was an investment because my stupid injury had stolen away the quality of my life. It was the first thing I thought about as I stepped out of bed with a jolt. It was the last thing I though about as I tried to fall asleep with the throb of a days work. It was everything in between as I watched it steal my happiness Saying bye the gym, my health fitness goals and my self esteem. It was almost immediately that I noticed my foot feeling better. I felt hopeful as I was seemed to be walking better and steadier with my new insoles. I noticed less of a limp, less strain on my left hip, less strain on my low back since I was no longer trying to compensate for the painful step. Friends, I followed the directions for use PERFECTLY because I wasn't taking any chances. These were a big investment in my health and overall happiness. As weeks rolled into months, and months soon into a year, I am was reminded of how well these products actually truly work. I love that every time I stopped by I got refitted and was reminded of how far I had come by looking at the carbons of my feet in progress and the cool changes that were happening over time. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! This is such a scam. My husband went in and they gave him little rubber pads to put into his shoes under his heals. They helped a little bit. However, they charged over $60 dollars for two rubber pads as big as your palm! I'm sure they got them for a few dollars and are marking them up over 300%. Don't buy the "empires robe" it is a rip off! Also the ad on the radio when she says "I've been here for 14, where have you been" is so rude. My Good Feet Story... I have been dealing with foot pain in both the balls of my feet and my heels. I was putting up with this pain on and off for over 10 years. Most of the time I would suck it up and work through the pain. As you know, when you have pain while walking or even standing, it affects your ability to exercise, work and even doing simple chores around the home. The moment you wake up and place your feet on the floor, you are immediately reminded of this fact. Well just about one month ago, I awoke, and I was literally struggling just walking to across my bedroom, I then sat down on my bed wondering what I was going to do. I am not a fan of going to the doctor, so I began to think of an alternative solution. That is when I remembered hearing about the Good Feet Store on the radio. I knew that I was going to be in the Sandy Utah area and remembered hearing that there was a store there. I finished visiting my clients near Sandy and then looked up the address to the Good Feet Store. I then went to the store and was helped by Tielle. She then began to troubleshoot my feet pain issues and she began to put together a great plan on resolving my pain issues. It took about an hour, but it was well worth it. Just after trying their recommendations on shoes and inserts, I was able to feel a little bit better while in the store. I went home that evening only paying for the shoes and not paying for the feet correction program thinking that the shoes would be enough. I woke the next morning with the same pain in my feet and quickly came to a crossroad, either I was going to live with this pain or take a small leap of faith and go all in in on their feet correction program. I knew that my feet were the foundation of me accomplishing my life goals and serving my customers to the best of my ability. I quickly grabbed my phone looked to see when they were open on this Saturday. I jumped in my car and drove to the store, and I arrived 15 minutes before they even opened. Even though I was early, I knocked on the door and Tielle and to let me in. She remembered me from the day before and hooked me up with the shoe inserts and explained the program in full detail. I went home that day having to move two different people in my ward using the shoes and inserts. I was blown away on how well my feet felt after moving two different families that day. They were a little sore, but they did felt better than the day before. I was blown away by this realization. So, if you are tired of dealing with pain in your feet and want to try a solution that will work, you need to go to the Good Feet Store. Their program works great and the reasonable amount of money that you will invest in their program is well worth it. Another great thing about this program is that your feet feel better by walking with their recommended shoes and inserts. There is no downtime! That is amazing to me. You can live your normal productive and active life and feel your pain diminish daily. Whoever came up with this program should get a Nobel Peace Prize. It has been one month since I have purchased and followed the program. I can say that it was well worth it. I can now exercise, pursue my dreams and goals again without feet pain. I called and made an appointment. Sandy UT I asked what the price range was so I would know what to expect. She said about 450 it was acceptable, if they worked. I made the appointment and showed up early. They went through the whole process and it sounded great. Three inserts to not only help with the pain but fix the issue. The salesman said the effectiveness was 95% maybe a like adjustment here and there and that would be included in the price. I was about it. Also they have this amazing food massager I love. 250 they are worth every penny I've had one before. So we get to the price which I felt at the time 450 plus the foot massager was doable. The he said for the three insoles it will be $1,550.00 without tax not including the massager ! Ok well that escalated quickly. I said ok well no thank you then he asked me what was I thinking for price. I asked him what difference would it make? It's not even in the ball park of what I thought. As I read other reviews I've seen 1400 ,1200 and even 1000 for the same system so now I'm just a little offended. I'll pass maybe it might be for you . I went there with a constant pain level of 4-5, spiking to 10. I could barely walk, much less run as necessary showing dogs and standing several more hours a day in my booth. Denise helped me, along with another lady. I didn't have an appointment, and ended up spending a couple hours before settling on the right system for me, plus a new pair of shoes. Fast forward a month, and I'm back. The pain is still there, still bad, and to top it off the shoes I bought gouged a hole in my foot that took a month to heal. Denise was there again, along with a young man whose name starts with J. He spent another hour with me re-evaluating my pain and needs. They not only exchanged the arch supports to a firmer set, which are helping more, but took back the shoes even though my puppies had made confetti of the box. The store didn't have the shoe I wanted, so I got store credit for when they come in. I highly recommend not only this product, but this store location. read more

This is a predatory retail business. Avoid at all costs. My wife went in to the Farmington store because she had sore feet and came home with 3 insoles that cost $1,400. She has a traumatic brain injury and was taken advantage of by the sales staff due to their aggressive sales techniques. She returned home (after they drained her bank account), and called them to say she would like to return part of her purchase. They told her they don't give refunds but only an in-store credit. She is now stuck with extremely over-priced insoles that she will probably never use. Their business model seems to be prey on the vulnerable because they are in pain. They do offer a lifetime warranty-probably because they know full well they will be out of business in a few years and never have to honor one claim. Absolute rip-off. read more

The arch supports are $349 to start with. I finally got her to tell me there were some that were 100 plus a wimpy pair of unsold that should have cost $5 bucks for $30. NO REFUNDS only 'in-store credit'. The arch suppprts hurt so bad I can't stand to wear them. They hurt so bad my feet throb. The only other thing they could give me in store credit for is other insoles that I can't wear. read more

Never purchase from them. The Good Feet Store in Sandy Utah never informed me that I can not return the inserts. I had never worn them since they did not fit in shoes. I went to return them and all they stated was I could get store credit so I can have more useless products from them. Horrible experience and now I am out $800.00. This place is a scam in my opinion. My daughter has foot pain & just started a job where she's on her feet all day, so I told her I'd buy her a good quality pair of shoes. I about fell out of my chair this morning when I got a credit card alert for a $1428 charge! I literally thought they made a mistake and misplaced a decimal. Turns out they sold her shoes, plus three pair of "custom" inserts, and three pair of foam inserts. She was given the impression that they custom-made her insoles in the back after taking measurements and an ink imprint of her feet. They do not. They "custom fit" premade plastic insoles based on your foot measurements. Which is the same thing as buying small, medium, or large insoles at Walmart based off your shoe size. These are not custom-made to your individual feet. Even if they were, $1284 is absolutely criminal! They did not tell my daughter the price of any of this until they were ringing her up. She was shocked by the price but because they gave her the impression they had just custom-made these insoles to her specific feet she felt like she had to buy them at that point. Reading other reviews I can see this is their standard practice. I immediately called them and demanded a refund, which thankfully I did get. Not for the shoes because she wore them out of the store, but I did get the $1284 of insoles refunded. My daughter has since made an appointment with a Podiatrist, an actual doctor, not a shoe salesman. The Dr will actually custom make insoles from a mold of her feet, not an ink stamp, for $400 (plus a 30% discount if you pay that day, so $280!). Their BS about needing different insoles for "strengthening" your feet, for working, for relaxing, etc is ridiculous. Your feet need support, period. Whether you're at work or walking around in your house, your feet need the same support. Runners and athletes might have different needs but your average person that works on their feet all day doesn't need three different pair of off-the-shelf plastic insoles for $1284. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment with an actual doctor, a podiatrist instead of getting scammed by these people. A podiatrist will evaluate your issue and tell you if you even need custom insoles. If you do, you'll get insoles that actually are custom-made to your feet for a fraction of what you'd pay at the Good Feet Store. I bet 100% of the people that walk into a Good Feet Store are told they need insoles. Many probably don't and based off the reviews here, some are in more pain after wearing these insoles than they were before. Just go to a foot doctor. It's better, it's cheaper. read more

My Good Feet Store Experience: Each time I hear a Good Feet Store advertisement on the radio, my blood pressure rises just a bit. I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for several years. I went to a running shoe store and purchased arch supports and expensive running shoes ($200) which gave me some relief. Initially my right foot bothered me more than my left. Now my right foot discomfort is negligible, and my left foot is my problem. In October 2018, after hearing Good Feet Store ads on the radio for several years I went in to see if their arch supports would help as their ads claimed. I should have gotten a clue when the customer in front of me left on crutches. The first thing they do is have you step on a device that makes a pressure image of your foot. Then compare it to the ideal. I had difficulty distinguishing between the two, but the salesman assured me my feet were not ideal, my right looked a little better than the left. Thus my left was the problem as I was experiencing. I was then educated on the Good Feet Store "3-Step System" of arch supports: Step one is called "Strengtheners", these are supposed to exercise the muscles, tendons and ligaments of the foot. Seemed to make sense. Step two is "Maintainers", step three, "Relaxers". In the radio ad testimonials, customers say they are in tears because the pain is gone instantly while walking around the store. The salesman brought out arch supports for me to try, 1 pair of each. With the strengtheners in my shoes, the salesman indicated it was like walking on golf balls, he was correct, not the instant pain relief as in the radio testimonial. But I was instructed to wear the strengtheners for 4 hours or so the first day, eventually in a short period of time to wear them all day. When we learned the price for all this, I believe $400 each for the maintainers and relaxers, and more for the strengtheners for a total of $1359.16 with sales tax, I thought if I could get relief, it would be worth it. Swallowed hard and paid the full amount and left the store. After 5 or 6 weeks of wearing the arch supports, there was no improvement in the pain in my left foot and I returned to the store. I was expecting them to make another image, but the same salesman from before did not do so. Upon learning that I was wearing the maintainers and not the strengtheners, he chastised me saying I was supposed to wear the strengtheners all the time. I thought then, "why did you sell me the other supports then, if I'm not supposed to wear them?" He exchanged the strengtheners and relaxers. These new strengtheners did give some relief in the pain. On a scale of 1 -10, wearing the original strengtheners all day, my pain in my left foot was a 3. With the new strengtheners it was now a 2. However when the pain is the worst, getting out of bed in the morning as is typical with plantar fasciitis, the pain remained an 8 or 9 for the first few steps, no matter what arch supports used. I began to wonder if the Good Feet Store arch supports were any better than the ones I've used before. So I went back to my running shoe store arch supports as an experiment. The pain in my left foot through a typical work day got worse, going back to a 3. So today as I write this, I use the strengthener in my left shoe, the running shoe arch support in my right shoe. Now my pain level is 2 in my left, and 0 in my right, with the strengthener in my right, the pain was a 1. So it makes my right foot worse, and my left only slightly better. When I am not working, I wear the running shoe arch supports. The Good Feet Store advertises that you can try these before you buy them. Not quite! First off, the store is so tiny you can't walk more than a few feet with them, and then cause I was instructed that it would take time to get used to them, how is that trying them before you buy them? There are no refunds, only in store credit. Then for only 60 days it seems. Would I pay $500 to take my pain level from a 3 to a 2. maybe. But maybe some more experimenting with running shoe store arch supports for $40 a pair may offer the same relief? Bottom line, of the 6 arch supports I paid $1359.16 for, I wear one that gives me relief in pain from a 3 to a 2 in one foot. Boy do I feel stupid. read more

I was going on a vacation and my Sciatica was constant. I went to the Good Feet Store in Sandy. I met Cory. He was amazing. He cared more about me than getting a sale. I trusted his judgement and got the inserts. After my vacation, I went back because my pain wasn't completely gone. I got a new pair of inserts that were stronger. They'll want to sell you their set of three orthotic shoe inserts if you're having foot pain. Each pair of orthotics is $399 but they don't want to tell you that up front. So over $1300 for the set with tax and they don't accept insurance. No returns either. Better to go see a podiatrist instead, the sales people at Good Feet are not doctors. read more

When I walked in I thought it was walking into a daycare.three kids at the front door, don't mind kids at all and maybe a cistomers, but didn't receive any help or greeting. There are three customers waiting for help and one clerk, actyuakky two, the one said she'd be with us in a minute and disappeaed to the back room never to return again. Very unprofessional I started with an ipad for profile and then looked at the prices and walked out. More money than one I had custom built by an orthopedics doctor and no better than what I currently wear. Pretty disappointed, wont be back, no customer service, not worth your time. read more

I try to always give excellent reviews. I cannot for this experience with The Good Feet Store in Sandy, Utah. I spent over $400 and if the process helped my foot pain, it would be worth it- but it didn't. I took the orthotics to my foot surgeon and he was amazed at the price. He told his resident that they were in the wrong business- as they could make so much more selling those orthotics, than doing surgery. He told me I was very over priced and didn't want me to use the orthotics. I took them back and they only gave me in store credit. I cannot use the credit, unless I want to purchase over priced shoes that I would never wear. All I wanted was my money back, after hearing from my foot surgeon that I was going to need more surgeries and that the orthotics could not help me. First of all, the initial experience was a lot like being at a back-alley used car lot. The salesperson was in a very quick hurry to convince me of the wonders of thier products and in a hurry to get my money. After some walking around in the store for a while I asked how much they cost. "$1362...and change. WOW! I told him that I had consulted a doctor about my Heel Pain and that the doctor would Custom-Make a pair of orthotics for under $500. I was told that "they (the ones from the doctor) would not be as good as these." So, for reasons still not understood by me, I agreed to purchese the Good Feet inserts. But, I insisted on a promise of a 100% refund if they didn't work for me. IF YOU GO INTO GOOD FEET AND AGREE TO BUY...GET A WRITTEN PROMISE FOR A 100% REFUND!! Well, the inserts didn't work for me and during my second visit to the store I was told that I'm "sort of between sizes" Okay, so, I know that the first person knew that I was in between sizes. He could have been honest with me but he was afraid I would walk out without buying. Overall, the only reason I gave even two stars is because they DID REFUND my money. Other than that, it was a pretty bad experience with people who seem to be extremely interested in your wallet but not very interested in helping. read more

The woman at the Good Feet store who said she would call the shoe manufacturer for us to see if they would take them back never called us back. She got the info on Saturday from us and it is now Thursday and we haven't received a call back from her. I tried to call the district manager at the number provided but she didn't take my call and didn't call me back yesterday. I am still hopeful the regional manager will get me a refund if she ever calls back. In short, the local store here in Draper has very poor customer service! And BUYER BEWARE, the local store won't stand by their products (which are very expensive). read more
