Not an avid golfer myself, so can't say much about their simulators, but I love how they can put the sport games on their huge projector screens.

She ordered the Truffle Mushroom Risotto which she enjoyed. Truffle Mushroom Risotto Wild forest mushrooms, roasted garlic, Ontario goat cheese cream sauce, white truffle oil, parmesan cheese I ordered the Fish Wrap lunch special but had Caesar salad instead of fries. I actually wanted both fries and Caesar salad on the side but there was a miscommunication when I ordered. But I still enjoyed my meal and it was surprisingly filling. Fish Wrap: Crispy fish fillet, lettuce, lime, cheddar, tomato, onion, peppers, avocado puree, olives, lime aioli, cilantro For dessert we shared the Pistachio & Ricotta Cake which was so deliciously light! Pistachio & Ricotta Cake: layered sponge cake with pistachio and ricotta cream, super light and not too sweet It wasn't busy at noon so the ambiance was nice and quiet. The service was fast and friendly and we greatly appreciated our greeter Bethany and server Gianluca!

The peach Bellini was not tasting like cocktail it tasted more like a peach slush. We went for a girl's night out and we ordered calamari and chicken wings as late night snacks last Saturday. The calamari was tasty, fresh and deep fried with a nice crisp! However, the size of the calamari was quite small. The honey garlic chicken wings were good, but a little too sweet for me. The service was excellent and the waitress went out of her way to serve us. She took lovely pictures for us and even cleaned my camera lens as it was probably dirty. She even got us water and left it on our table when we were on the dancefloor. The manager and supervisor came around and checked on us a few times. In fact all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The DJ played some great music and we had a fun girls night out. We are already planning to come for another girl's night out before Christmas!! The only complaint is, it would be nice if the entrance fees at least for girls changed to cover charge!

The latte and Horlick latte in Chinese themed cups and saucers were cute and the matcha Sando was crunchier and more tasty than expected. Do be careful of the sando as it topples over easily and we sadly lost all our cream to the table after the picture was taken. They use Hatch coffee beans - lattes were not very strong but we could taste the aroma of the beans. There's also free board games to play and a photo room for pictures too. Great place and space to chill at Times Square. It's on the same floor as Awesome Hotpot on the second floor, just make a left after going up the escalators.

If you think Batman has a (spoiled billionaire play boy by day and dark vigilante by night) complex…read morepersonality, Sugar Cafe Lounge's persona is equally complicated. Rarely, would you find a place that can pull off being a brunch/lunch place during the mornings and afternoons and a club and lounge by night. On a Saturday morning where I was looking for a place to grab a bite and to kill a bit of time, I realized through Yelp that Sugar Cafe Lounge is actually open by 10am. I didn't even know they open in the mornings prior to this. The vibe of this place strikes me as a modernized Chinese karaoke place. It totally reminds me of the karaoke places that I used to frequent back in the day. They have the same black and neon purple/pink colour scheme. Dice shakers were readily available and visible. The modernisation portion can be attributed to the existence of a photo booth and kildult style cartoon characters wall stickers along the walls/window. And for a "club/lounge", the servers were definitely very polite and attentive which is a stark contrast to the service that you may come to expect in early 2000s karaoke places. My feeling towards the curry katsu egg Benedict is equally complicated. I think the dish has so much potential, but currently has several flaws. Let's start on a positive note. The hollandise sauce was a fit with the curry flavour. The built in acidity also worked to tone down the sauce's heaviness. But even with the acidity, it was a pretty heavy sauce. I like the taste of the sauce, but it's just too too heavy. The egg whites for the Benedict was a bit over cooked and getting on the rubbery side, yet the yolk remained runny. Which I found odd. The katsu pork is a bit on the smallish side and the batter did not seem like the Japanese panko style batter (seemed a bit closer to HK style). The pork was under seasoned, so the taste was hugely reliant on the sauce. They clearly used some form of milk bread for the dish. It's a decently thick slice, and it didn't seem like your typical wonder bread, but the bread also added to the heaviness of the entire dish. I have no clue how the vibe is at night or how busy it gets, but my feeling towards this place is a little bit complicated.

I visited the Moxies Bar and Grill in Richmond Hill for a company Xmas dinner…read more Our group was seated in the heated and enclosed patio area. There were a team of dedicated servers helping our table. The server was knowledgeable with the wine list and provided her recommendations for white wine. I ended up ordering the Kim Crawford Sauvignon blanc. It was dry white wine with some fruity notes. I'm not a big wine drinker but I really enjoyed it. We had a set menu which included a small appetizer soup or caesar salad. I ordered the coconut chicken soup and it was a delight. The soup was definitely Thai influenced and the bamboo shoots, chicken and coconut was a perfect medley of ingredients. It was almost like a green curry. We also ordered beef nachos, crispy calamari and goat cheese and bread dip. All the appetizers were pretty good no complaints here. I ordered the Chipotle mango chicken based on my positive experience before. I must say the dish was really good but the one I had in Moxies Pickering was outstanding. The chicken lacked the deep grill charred marks and was not piping hot. Usually the plates are really hot when they are brought out. The plate was only warm to the touch. The bite of white chocolate brownie was decadent and was great finale for our meal. I ordered a cappuccino to cap off the meal. One critique would be the lack of refilling the waters on our table. The restaurant definitely had an attractive crowd and people were happy and enjoying their drinks and food. It was a little bit difficult to talk inside as the sound insulation in the patio was poor. Overall, the service was pretty attentive and friendly. I would recommend making a reservation if you are coming in a large group. Thank you Moxies for great evening.

The mocha we ordered was delicious, adequate in chocolate notes paired with espresso. I want to say that the drinks were the highlight of my experience here. They have a few special menu items, like the unagi pizza - which I found was not the best in terms of taste. I can't pick out exactly what it is, but something on there wasn't to my liking. Either way, interesting menu item to try. To finish off, I ordered some cotton candy for my sister. I was disappointed that they said they ran out of the paper cones/sticks for the cotton candy, so they offered it to me in brown paper bags. There is also an area to play darts, a bar, and some seats to lounge. They serve food, snacks, and drinks. Upon arrival, you go to the front desk and give them your ID so they can swap and give you your billiard balls. Because it's COVID, they now give you the cues instead of you picking your own. Note: they also charge a $1 COVID Cleaning Fee to your bill now. Tables are clean, cues are decent, and the place is kept tidy. Definitely a nicer pool hall to play at compared to others. My receipt said $16/per hour for PM charge, plus day pass $3, plus the COVID fee $1, total was $20. If you're a member, you wouldn't have to pay the extra $3 for the day pass. I don't see any prices listed anywhere, so I'm not sure what the other prices are, but I probably paid a weekend night price. Pretty sure other places are a bit cheaper than here, but if you're looking for a well maintained pool hall, then you can pay a few more bucks for this spot.

Came on a weekend afternoon and there were still plenty of spots available for indoor and outdoor…read morerange. Outdoor is less pricey and priced per bucket of balls while indoors is hourly? They also have clubs for rental as well. Jumbo bucket with 100 balls come out to around $30 and reg bucket with 60 balls is around $22 plus tax. Pay for the buckets at the clubhouse before going to the range. With the outdoor stalls they have both real grass or fake turf. The fake turf provides the usual left handed or right handed grass panels with a rubber tee. The rubber tee is a bit high as I know some other places usually have a taller and a shorter rubber tee for interchanging. Otherwise the spots are pretty good (no shade fyi) and the ball dispensing machine is quick and fast.

The process to get a bucket of balls for the outdoor range is very quick and easy, with a QR code…read morescanner that they have at the ball dispenser. It's definitely more worth it to head to the outdoor range than the indoor one if you're not too serious about golf, as it is cheaper and less busy. I'm not too familiar with ranges, but some of the spots had chunks of grass missing, so we had to walk out a little further to find a solid patch to use. There is a lot of space though, so it wasn't too hard to find! It did start raining quite heavily while we were there, so if you're worried about the weather, it's important to know that there is no coverage for the outdoor section!
