The Glen House is a beautiful hotel with absolutely stunning views of the northern presidentials. They staff was very welcoming and friendly. The entire hotel, room included was clean and new. We had several drinks in the lobby bar which were delicious. HOWEVER the mattresses seem to be forged from the very stones of the white mountains themselves. Solid mattresses provided no comfort or sleep whatsoever.

This is one of the nicest places I have visited and stayed. I really can't stop singing there praises. From the moment you drive up and see the breath taking views you immediately know why it's hard to get a reservation. It's new, updated and warm. The rooms are clean and very comfy. The lobby is inviting and just a wonderful area to chill, eat or have a glass of wine. The staff was so friendly and warm we just felt right at home. We tried the bar menu and the food options all sounded good. We ordered the flatbread with mushrooms and a burger both were equally delicious and filling. The red wine was delicious and ambiance was inviting. They have a large fire pit facing the mountains with big comfy chairs. We enjoyed this for a few days while there. I can't recommend this hotel enough. The location is wonderful and it's easy to get around. They have several areas that accommodate dining so there's something for all. Also the beds felt new and they were very comfy. The shower is large and spacious and they provide wonderful products to use.

Stayed here for a visit to Mt Washington with my dog. Pros: Friendly people, beautiful views, easy parking, safe, dog friendly Cons: VERY noisy (get a room on 2nd floor away from a stairway), old and uncomfortable pillows, tiny pool

Great Hotel! Just make sure you book thru them and not an outside booking. That complicated things. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the Mountain View was to die for.

Best place we have stayed in the area. The price, the location the VIEW it was the perfect little escape up north. Just a short drive to Santa's village and Conway. Loved the rooms very clean, the bar/restaurant was a 10/10 and did I mention THE VIEW!! Wake up early before the hustle and bustle and just take it in, you will not be disappointed. The ONLY thing I would change is the pool had no Hot tub or Sauna. It would have been outstanding if it had that element but that's just personal preference. The kids loved the pool. 10/10

Double bed room but with mysterious slamming door in the daytime (?)

Enjoyed our multi night stay but ran into a few minor flaws. Our room had two big issues. We kept hearing a loud door slam, I think, right below our room located over the restaurant side of the hotel. Literally shook the room every time! Luckily, it stopped by bedtime. The doors to rooms are ridiculous heavy fire doors, so maybe that's just a design flaw. (Certainly appreciate fire doors for safety, of course). There was also a low humming we could not put our finger on. Again, maybe from being on the restaurant side of the hotel? There is an exhaust fan mounted on that side of the building. We eventually tuned that noise out with the a/c running. In the hotel lobby/atrium, there was limited seating to me, and state rules posted about taking alcohol in certain areas. Staff will come and correct you if you stray. Everywhere we wanted to sit and relax, there was a cluster of people and activity (ie. not a lot of private, quiet spaces). It's definitely a quaint & lively vibe. Finally, I would say this hotel leans into kid friendly. We saw many young couples with 1 or 2 kids. We dont have kids, so just something to think about during your dinner at their restaurant, or when wanting to chill by the bar that shares a large common atrium with hotel guests, including families. You might be enjoying a cocktail sitting arms-length from kids playing chess at a coffee table. Absolute highlights were the spacious shower, comfy beds, and walking paths in the field just in front of the hotel. We stumbled on the walking paths, and it was STUNNING!! Oh, and the spectacular views of the Presidential Mountains, of course, made this place unique with an upscale rustic feel.

Fantastic hotel in a great location! Sits right on the base of Mount Washington (also a must do) surrounded by mountains and amazing views! Our room was spotless, big and comfortable. Complimentary coffee was offered in the morning and cookies at night. The bar had tables with awesome views as well, where you can enjoy drinks or go all out with a nice dinner! Loved it!

The hotel is located at the base of Mount Washington it is the perfect place for exploring all of the great trails and activities in the area. The hotel has wonderful views of Mount Washington and a system of trails easily accessed behind the hotel. Rooms are clean and modern with an outside deck space. The hotel has a small salt water pool, at this time you must reserve a time to use it due to COVID restrictions. There is a small gym that was very clean. Dinner and breakfast at the on site restaurant was very good. Service at the bar was a bit slow, but there is a wonderful back deck with fire pit to enjoy the view of Mount Washington.

We stayed here for a weekend and enjoyed ourselves. We have nothing bad to say about the hotel itself. Check in and out was smooth, our room was spacious and clean and the hotel restaurant was convenient and good. We honestly didn't spend much time at the hotel since we were out all day doing things. The hotel has a fantastic location that allowed us to be a short drive into down, close to the shops and town of Conway. We cannot wait to go back in warmer weather!

Great views and mountain atmosphere but we thought it may have been a little pricey although the food was good.

Thankfully, I was situated within the Pool building on the inside so it had more of a Hotel than Motel feeling. Plus this typically affords more peace and quiet. The hotel boasts a Golf Course, Indoor Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, Steam Room, Arcade, and Restaurant; all of which really set them apart and above the local competition. I look forward to returning next time I find myself in the area! Good show!

So when it came time for dinner, there did not seem to be too many places in the area. So I thought I'd try the attached restaurant. The dining room was quite large. I was quickly seated and was one of a hand full of patrons in the room. I decided to try the special: beer battered shrimp, salad (forgot to tell her to hold the croutons), baked potato and broccoli. I was served a mini loaf of hot, standard recipe white bread with whipped "butter." My rant: There should be a law against restaurants calling margarine "butter". As nicely whipped and pretty as it presented, this "butter" was MARGARINE - the old fashioned, cheap kind. No "touch of cream" or buttermilk or half and half. It was terrible, as was the bread. The salad was leaf lettuce, red onion, cherry tomatoes, shredded carrots, and once I removed the abundant croutons, was decent. The baked potato was - well - a baked potato, which I chose not to ruin with MARGARINE. The broccoli was over cooked to the point of having some pieces that were scorched. The highlight of the plate were the 4 jumbo, beer battered shrimp. They were delicious; however, I wanted some tartar sauce to go with them. It took me 5 minutes of waving my arms to finally catch the eye of A busboy. He wanted to know who my waitress was. I couldn't tell him but the Hostess came and got the sauce for me. Evidently, the one waitress I saw working, also worked the bar and other eating area which is not in sight of the dining room. That seemed problematic to me. It is summer time. This is a recreational area. I assume that this Resort relies on tourists to keep going. It is Monday night. Perhaps that made the difference in service levels. I don't blame the waitress - she had a lot of area to cover. The Beer Battered Shrimp, I could eat all day. They were delicious. Serving scorched broccoli was unacceptable. And if you're going to serve margarine, please don't call it butter - butter substitute maybe, but not butter.
