We were only here for about 16 hours, but we are wishing we could have stayed longer. Very cozy and the owners are really nice.

I dont think its any surprise that staying at the Omni is a top notch experience, but I was…read moreincredibly surprised at how family friendly this resort was. I came here with my Husband before we had kids and was expecting myself to have to eat in the room to keep my feral kids out of the way of the guests, but that could not have been further from the truth! Stayed at the Omni with my three kids, 5 and under, and in laws for a few nights and had an incredible experience. As soon as we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly. Nick gave our kids a very warm welcome and handed them all super nice kids welcome bags. He was also the last person we saw when we left and he did a great job, super friendly! The resort has plenty of outdoor areas for the kids to run around and get some energy out. The indoor pool was perfect for kids. Only went up to 4 ft and there was a 1.5 ft wading area for the babies. There is a toy store on site in case you want to get the kids something. Of course the arcade was a huge hit for our kids. All of our meals were wonderful. We had the best servers. Elena, Peter, Dilek were awesome. Elena made us feel so special and treated me and my mother in law so well! Adam was super helpful and always hustlin around the covered porch area. After the kids were asleep we were able to sneak out to the Conservatory bar (beautiful views of the mountains) and Ben made delicious drinks. Overall we loved it, highly recommend for families, and we will definitely be back. Thank you Omni team!

This is a somewhat difficult place to rate. I was here for a couple full days in May with near…read morestellar weather so views are astoundingly great with mountains and sunsets featuring. The outside when weather is this nice is really good, ample porch seating and exterior reception areas. The food imo is ok. The first meal was a "simple" BLT with really soft and kind of fatty bacon. The soda was also flat. Summer staff return and gearing for the season might lend to this. The exterior temps were hot one day and the lobbies and hallways were just plain hot, too. My room AC ran nonstop and failed to break 74 in the room. The suite was nice if not outdated a bit with carpeted floors that likely met the style of an old hotel but felt old. The Cave bar is a must. Omni is showing signs of reparation on this hotel which shows the grandeur of its day, great molding and architectural accents, but also fighting termite damage, actual termites and bees, one of us was stung in the dining room, inside. The staff is seasonal, with that some younger folks learning the system and very friendly while others, like bellhops seeming disinterested. It's wrapped as looking luxury but with practical gaps in execution.

Rabbit Hill Inn - Fireplace in the room. The decor is in line with the Inn experience. Room was super clean.

They…read moreeven make it possible to "adopt" one of the uber soft and furry little rabbits for a "mere" $45.00. Just a tad rich for my blood, plus I couldn't buy for one grandchild and not the other, so I purchased none. But I digress. The inn is old, very old in fact, but it is well appointed, and the rooms have been upgraded as much as possible. They are very small, but very clean and tastefully decorated with bunnies and all. The bed was super comfortable with great pillows. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We pretty much stayed to ourselves, but there were a number of common areas where we could've fraternized with the guests, played board games, read. The outdoor grounds were quite lovely, and in addition to a patio to sit on, there was a large grassy area to walk around, and I believe one could play croquet too... not positive about that part, though. There were no TV's in the rooms purposely, and I'm not sure there were any in the common areas either. I doubt we would've liked that if we had stayed longer than one night... but for one night, we survived. Funny and ironic how dependent we (and most people) are on being entertained by TV's. My only disappointment was, and I knew ahead of time, is that we were staying there on a night their main dining room was NOT open, so we didn't get to dine there. It probably would've been much better than where we did eat, and we would've had the convenience of being right there... but alas, it was not meant to be this time. Their pub was open, but the menu was quite minimal and not anything we were interested in. If ever we should pass through this part of Vermont in the future, I would love the opportunity to stay here again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed sitting in front of the fire place at night after a long day. My rabbit loving sister especially enjoyed all the rabbit decor. The food was amazing! We loved our breakfasts and the dinner we had at 24 Carat, as well as the drinks served at the snooty fox. Definitely one of the best places my mother, sister, and I have stayed.

It was a cute little cabin but they are very close to…read morethe main road and you can hear cars at all hours of the day and night (we needed up shutting all windows at night to help with this). The cabins are also a bit too close together so you can hear people talking all around if they have the windows open. The fire pit was perfect and right on the little stream behind the cabin. I think next time we will try to rent one of the cabins on the other side of the bridge just for a little more privacy and quite. Inside the cabin I really liked whatever Incense they had burned before we got there and that they had everything we needed in the kitchen. One issue was that the dishes were not clean when we got there so we had to wash a few before using. Also in the bedroom one of the screens was not properly attached on the bottom so when we opened the window we ended up getting a lot of flies and mosquitos inside. The bathroom was a bit tiny but i expected this with such small cabins. The walls in the shower are not attached to the wall though so do not lean on them or you could break or tip it to the tip (couldn't tip it over though). Main problem with the bathroom is that after a hot shower and you open the door it sets the fire alarm off that right outside the door even if you had the window open to let the steam out. He was definitely not happy being woken up at 6am because I wake early. All in all I would stay again but I would defiantly pick one of the back cabins over the front one we stayed in.

We had an indoor toilet/shower, heat, running water and electricity! To me that's a luxurious cabin. Not to mention the fireplace- that was perfect to have at night for just relaxing with a glass of wine, celebrating our new engagement. Although it's somewhat close to the road, we never heard traffic, and since it's such a rural area to begin with, there's not much traffic anyway. We truly felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. There are some cabins on the other side of the creek that are slightly more secluded for people who want that.
