This joint is so much fun. You walk in and you're instantly bombarded with all these fun goodies to look at. Candles, socks, mugs, candy, stickers. As much as I needed that drink, I had to look and touch everything first! I love all the fun things they have out. You can literally spend a good hour checking out every piece of retail available! It was hard not to pick, touch or smell everything! Made my way up to the counter. The first thing you notice is all the baked goods. The display case was full of delicious treats. Every pastry looked divine. That's one thing about Flying M, it's a guarantee that your baked goody is going to be out of this world tasty! I have yet to have a bad pastry at a Flying M. It was finally my turn to order my drink, everyone came in all at once. I was greeted by a handsome smile. I ordered my regular drink when I spec out new spots. So today I got an iced americano with sugar free chocolate with room for cream. I made sure it was a large, I needed a good jolt of caffeine. Bro, this americano was money. The espresso was strong and not watered down. I added the cream so it was the perfect amount. I did add a couple packets of Splenda cause the espresso was not shy in this drink. It was so good! I sat outside and enjoyed it. It was the perfect day to enjoy an iced coffee under the warm sun. Flying M downtown Boise should take come customer service pointers from this joint. It's night and day. I stopped going to the Flying M downtown because the customer service was so inconsistent. Some days they were so nice and then some days the baristas were so rude. I had such a great experience here. The venue is fun. The gentleman that helped me was so nice! My drink was on point! I'm happy I stopped in today. Looking forward to coming back and getting another amazing iced americano.

I absolutely love everything about this store. It is my go to place for that special gift or home decor item. Great items and prices. I appreciate the selections that they offer in the store. They have many locally made items as well as some new, vintage pieces, specialty foods, home decor items and so much more. What I truly value is their customer service. It is definitely five stars . Skee and Melody make you feel welcome and loved and part of the family. They wrap every purchase in a sweet bag with the cutest tissue paper and ribbon. They offer Paint, Sip and Shop nights once a month and other classes such as how to build a beautiful Charcuterie Board. I love supporting local and this place is one of my favorites. But it closed in 15 minutes! So we hurried over there and it was dark and cold outside which added to the Christmas spirit. Walking up to it I already was giddy. It had a window display that just looked magical from the outside. Walking in, it was small yet cozy. So many different items to look at. I tried to be mindful of the closing time so we looked at everything pretty quickly but I just soaked it all in. I've always wanted a nice snow globe bc they remind me of my son. I found one there I liked with the nativity story in it along with a wind up song. I bought it and they wrapped it up for me since I flew out the next day. Unfortunately the TsA agents didn't let me board the plane with it!!!!!!! So my son went back 2 days later and bought another one!!;) and now we just have to figure out how to get it to me. Probably will have to ship it to me and hopefully it gets to me safely. But boy what a journey just for this snow globe! lol But this store gets the sale of two snow globes so I'm helping small business I guess;) Loved this place and if I'm in the area again during Christmas, I'd love to come again and see what they new things they have. I HAVE to make it out in the summer to be even more impressed with the plant options. I don't think it is a good idea to come out here for the summer though, I/you might max out credit and buy everything. ;) Along with a ton of amazing/weird plant options, there are some fun house items in the main entrance shop. Since I am obsessed with house plants, I don't need to buy anything but house plants so I don't really pay attention to the shop. I am always pulled to the back greenhouse by small and large plants whispering, "take me", "choose me". (Those are the plants talking to me). After touching 100 - 1000 leaves each time I am in here and reading plant bios, I leave with my newly adopted plants in tow, regulating my self to only two plants a visit. If you love plants too, make sure to put a buying cap or you too will want to leave with all the plants. Or don't but don't say I didn't warn you. Just so you are prepared, these aren't "normal" plants that you can buy at a basic hardware or corner store, this is a magical plant shop. With it being a magical plant shop, comes a price. Expect a large portion of the plants you look at to be pricey, hence to two plant cap. Just go, check out the magic, and see you there in the summer, when I bring a trailer to get all my plants home with me. :)

I checked out the various rocks that were available for purchase and ended up with a nice little fun bracelet (made of green something--who cares--I just liked it). If you are into rocks and in the area, definitely stop here and check out their rock "stuff" and maybe you'll get to talk with the guy in the back too.
