And that my husband and I want to focus on his testing first as it was much easier and cheaper to do for now. But regardless of being asked twice in person, I was also email about it twice. Feels very pushy and weird. After my husband had his tests done it took 2.5 weeks, 4-5 phone unanswered phone calls, 2 voicemails and 1 portal message to get a response.... Absolutely not ok. And finally when they did upload his results to the portal (which is horrible to navigate btw)... it gave very vague information to where they told him he had to come in and make another appointment just for them to explain that he was fine.... Overall: - The client portal is so hard to use and not helpful at all. - the environment for me felt pushy and disrespectful - the communication between staff and client is HORRIBLE - completely disorganized staff This is a very vulnerable field of medicine. And as the client you HAVE to feel safe and comfortable with all the things that go along with fertility and reproductive care.... At the end of the day I did not feel that even slightly. One thing I appreciated most was how she personalized my treatment plan by adjusting medications and care based on my specific needs, body, and lifestyle instead of taking a one-size-fits-all approach. The journey itself was not easy. I went through two rounds of medication, and emotionally and physically it was very challenging. We lost three large mature eggs, which was heartbreaking, but Dr. Deng was still able to retrieve 12 medium eggs. In the end, only three eggs became embryos. Now for the rest of my review: After experiencing horrendous care at other OBGYN facilities in my more local area, I was first terrified to change to this location for an IUD procedure but I was recommended it by a friend. The doctor called me ahead of my procedure to answer any questions and he was super kind over the phone making me feel so much more comfortable. Day of the procedure there was a bit of a wait as it was filled with appointments. But the waiting room was nice as we all got to watch a Netflix show to pass the time. Once I was called in, the staff were very nice and very efficient to get me ready. And the anesthesiologist was so funny my nerves were completely settled before they put me under. Next I remember being fully dressed and they guided me to a low lit room with comfortable recliners that had such a peaceful ambience. The nurses were kind to answer my questions I had about how the procedure went while I was in that room which was promptly followed by the doctor who did my procedure. She came in to ask how I felt and how I was doing and I just felt an overwhelming sense of care and compassion at this facility that I've never experienced before anywhere else in medical care, I nearly cried from how happy I was. (That could have also been the after effects of the anesthesia but the emotions were still genuine). I was sent home with a little bag of overnight pads and information on my IUD device. My pain levels after never got above a 2/10, and they sent me home with a pain meds prescription for the following few days to address any cramping I might feel. I made embryos at nearly 40 years old in 2019, had a successful transfer in Sept 2021 (after a break between making embryos and transfer to get married!), and delivered my perfect healthy baby girl in June 2022 after an amazing 41 weeks of pregnancy and just after my 43rd birthday. I cannot say enough about this clinic but this result is truly because I found them... they are caring, smart, clever, diligent, honest, hardworking and just all around some of my favorite people in the world. Jo, Dr, Johnson's right hand (he will tell you this!) answered my emails morning, noon, and night every day of the week whenever I needed her. I actually looked forward to my appointments just so I could see and talk with her! As prior patients with CCRM, we anticipated similar care with Overlake, that was not the case. I'm shocked CCRM agreed to let Overlake dilute their brand. Overlake has their own protocols that are DIFFERENT than CCRM, and are not aligned with the standard of care for IVF treatment. Overlake failed to administer a standard medication leading up to one of our attempts, and even after repeated discussions did not admit to the omission. Fertility can be confusing, and it is our experience that fertility clinics may lack the best bedside manner, however a clinic cannot be both challenging to communicate with AND be inattentive to the details of such a precise endeavor. If you are considering Overlake based on their association with CCRM, I would caution to reevaluate.

I eventually felt unsafe with them caring for my children and found a much better primary care physician who handled everything in just a day. which is also a previous physician that worked at stepping stone while under the previous management. if the management was still under the previous owners, the rating would be much higher.
