I have all of my regular maintenance done here and don't mind waiting in the office because they are quick and do the job right. I've had to have body work done to my car and Carty's is fantastic at matching and blending paints. If you need an estimate for parts or services they are sure to give you a print out of what it is that you will need. The prices are fair and staff is honest and friendly. The hours are usually 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mon-Fri. If you need to have serious work done to your car Carty's will work with insurance companies to get the right prices for estimates and the car rental services to bring you a rental while your car is being worked on. Most of the time there is parking spaces available if you need to drop your car off during none business hours (be sure to drop your keys off in the drop box by the main office). Carty's is a great shop to go to for all of your car maintenance needs. The mechanics know what they are doing and your car will always be in good hands.

Donna, the owner, and Linda, the office manager, go above and beyond as far as customer service, Steve and Aaron are top flight mechanics as well. Trust me, if you are using gas station hacks for your car troubles, or you are spending your paycheck at the dealer, you need to come and talk to these people. You will feel like you are giving your car to a family member to fix. As with ANYTHING else, communication is the 1st key. And listening is the second. The review on 10/16/14 sounds like sour grapes or a guy who didn't listen. They would never, EVER quote $50 and then charge $400. NEVER! And the other review for body work? It's obvious this guy thinks he was a victim of a bait and switch. HOWEVER, he was given the 2nd estimate BEFORE the work was started. I think they could care less about whether the guy stayed or not. Obviously, something was noticed that perhaps they missed before. He wants them to eat the add'l cost when they didn't even start the work? Seriously??? I am NOT an employee, and Donna has too much class to reply to those types of posts. I am just a customer of a great business and yes, I am defending them! Why? They deserve it, that's why!

I went to Reliable for 6 years - and was always happy until my past couple of visits. They kept my…read morecar for FOUR HOURS for an oil change and did not tell me that a tech had been injured, causing the delay. when I called at hour 2. If you would've told me that someone was hurt, I would've taken it back the next day. But that option was not provided and then I was made to feel bad about it when I complained that the appointment took so long. They also misdiagnosed a problem with vibration in my vehicle. I ended up replacing the front struts, which probably would've needed it down the road, but it was not urgent or the cause of my problem. They also quoted over $500 more than any local shops for the struts. They were even more expensive than mitis! And they wanted a down payment as a deposit for the work. I've never seen this before. Not just here but anywhere! The kicker is that it was not the struts at all, instead there was a driveshaft problem that they should've seen because I asked them to look at the alignment, steering, and rear differential. They also missed the fact that a rear strut was leaking during that same check (which should've been obvious if they were actually checking the rear differential fluid). When I called to ask why the service was so inconsistent with the actual issue, and to see if they would issue me a refund based on the extra work I had done because of them, I was hung up on. I'm not sure what's going on with the manager but she used to be a very nice person. Not lately. Don't get me wrong, are used to rave about this place. I even took down a five star review in which I joked that I hope they did not get too popular because I liked getting good appointment times. I wish this place was good. They were good for a long time. Not anymore. Watch yourself. Who asks for a deposit especially from a long term customer - over six years I've been going there and always trusted their suggestions and prices. Maybe COVID has affected the way they do business.

During the the day of visit, the receptionist called me 1 hour after dropping it off and stated the lift couldn't lift it. After asking several questions as we took it in to be evaluated to see if they could do the job before hand. She then stated something was wrong with their lift and tried to charge me a whole lot more. I asked to speak to a manager and she said no. It is very disheartening that they wanted to charge me addition fees due to their malfunctioning lift.
