Staff is amazing and the gators are so yummy! Tastes like chicken. You should try! The staff is awesome. They entertained my joke which was cool. I asked if they had freshly cut gator, I mean the fresher the catch the better. Anyway nice food truck! It doesn't disappoint.

Wanted to support someone local while getting a small bite for lunch. Found that Gator Grill was just a few minutes from my house in Weston. Knowing it's at Sawgrass Rec Park with all of the airboat hauling tourists on joyride through the swamp, I expected things to be priced a bit higher then a basic lunch. Just wanted something new. Had the Mahi sandwich which was exceptionally fresh. I was disappointed with the amount of gator in an order, but it was flavorful. The BBQ tots were a very big let down. Something about them just threw me off. The birds are the biggest problem. They are very bold and some will attempt to land next to you to steal your food. Kind of unsanitary with them all over the tables. Overall was a nice little lunch.

Went off the beaten path just to eat at this food truck. Upon arrival we enjoyed the peacocks at the airboat place. Found the food truck just to be told it was open for private group only. Sure would have been nice to know this before we jumped off the highway wanting to try their fish sandwich. Very disappointing.

If you are ever in west Broward for lunch I highly recommend sitting down and enjoying this outdoor lunch and food truck with polite/fast service. The gator bites are seasoned perfectly, highly recommended them! Enjoy the fresh air, Everglades scenery and take an airboat ride if you desire.

This is way beyond being a hidden gem. You have to go to Sawgrass Recreation and go past the main building and down the hill to the right. At the bottom you'll see the picnic area with two food trucks. I can't comment on the coffee and pastry truck because it was closed. The other truck is the Gator Grill. What a treasure! Try the Mahi fish tacos. Each is made with a grilled fillet, slaw and special sauce. I don't know what's in the sauce but they also had bottled hot sauce that was awesome! Unless you don't like hot sauce, in which case it was still awesome but you missed out. Very friendly staff in a fun atmosphere made this a really enjoyable experience.

Interesting and simple service for a reasonable price. 10-11$ You get to try gator tacos or gator meat bites. Nothing too special just a reliable service to eat alligator meat. Condiments are typical salt and pepper and some super spicy hot sauce. I think habanero? Friendly cook.

The Mahi fish tacos are VERY good and super fresh tasting. The gator bites are tempting to order because it's something different, but honestly they tasted like dry pork so I'd stay away from them. I've heard that the burgers are hand-made and very good but we didn't try those. If you're short on time, you may need to skip this place because it took 40 minutes for us to place our order and then get our food. (The line was about 10 people long when we got into it). I realize that food trucks usually don't have many people cooking, but we needed something fast after our tour and this was anything but fast! I had to take off a star because of the long wait: otherwise it would have gotten a 4-star rating.

    Gator bites and mahi-mahi tacos

Wonderful gator, bite and mahi-mahi tacos. Beware of the birds one landed on my hand. Service was quick and the picnic bench seating is casual. The grill is within the salt Hill recreation area, which we did not explore, but looks very interesting.

Best Gator we have Ever had!! Loved!

Burger tastes like a backyard Burger, fires were crispy, the alligator bites were ok. It's a good stop if you're starving.

This place was so delicious!! Although we may have been extra hungry due to our drive across the Everglades. It also has a beautiful view.

The staff was very welcoming and got us seated quickly and walked us through the menu and ordering. We were there on a Monday at Happy Hour and got some special priced martinis, ice cold beer, some HH food specials and WINGS!!! The martinis we tried are made with Soju, which is a Korean spirit like Vodka. Of the ones we tried, the lemon Mojito and pineapple were good, the passion fruit was great and the Espresso was outstanding. The food we ordered came out pretty quickly and the portions were ample. Cheese curds were lightly breaded small bites. The brussel sprouts were some of the best I've had. The entire slice was crispy with some melted parmesan and balsamic glaze. The calamari was also well prepared and a good portion. All came with a side of ranch and when we asked for a marinara for the calamari the server was happy to get something for us. My friend had a cup of tomato bisque soup which was a very nice portion of hot creamy deliciousness. The last thing we ate were an order of the Korean Wings. They were incredibly crunchy and flavorful. We dipped our way through the sauces and though all were good our favorite was the Hot Chili. The wait staff was so helpful. They worked as a team, kept an eye on our table, and responded quickly for any requests. The manager also stopped by and made sure we were enjoying our meal, which we were. This is family owned and run restaurant, so support small business and you will have a great time.

I was surprised at how nice this place is, I was not expecting that, I was expecting it be like a fast food restaurant. The menu had lots of different things on it. My wife had smoked salmon Benedict. She said it was good. She also said her favorite part was that eggs weren't wet from the water they were poached in, "No soggy bread ". The hollandaise sauce, normally she gets it on the side, not this time. She said it was very good. Now for me I decided to try the Korean fried chicken sandwich. I was surprised at how much I really enjoyed it. Normally I would have gotten a grilled chicken sandwich. Brunch was a bit pricey but definitely worth it. I plan to return for dinner one night.

I've been writing restaurant reviews for years all over the U.S. Mostly restaurants because let's…read morebe honest... food is my love language. Good food and good service can heal emotional damage, lower blood pressure, and probably save marriages. So after seeing Negroni sitting there in Weston Town Center looking all fancy and mysterious for what feels like 37 years, my wife and I finally decided to go. No kids. No responsibilities. Just two tired adults escaping life for a couple hours. We walk in and immediately the place looked beautiful. Nice aesthetics, trendy vibe, dim lights, everybody dressed like they either own crypto or sell real estate in Brickell. I said okay this place got potential. Then the hostess sat me at the smallest table known to mankind. Ladies and gentlemen... I am 6'2. This table was built for borrowers from The Borrowers movie. My knees were touching the wall, the chair, the table, and possibly another dimension. I felt like I was serving detention for crimes I didn't commit. At one point I think my rib cage made eye contact with the candle. But I stayed positive because sometimes suffering leads to greatness. Jesus carried the cross. I carried cramped legs. I ordered the 14 oz ribeye medium well. The steak came out with three sauces like they were presenting evidence in court. This one is chimichurri. This one is peppercorn. This one is liquid mortgage payment. The steak itself was good. Tender, soft cut, flavorful enough... but not $110 dinner and hidden fees flavorful. For that price I expected the cow to personally walk out, thank me for my service, and salute my family. My wife ordered the pork belly bao and honestly that thing slapped harder than my grandmother's flip flop in 1997. Very good. Then my genius self decided to order sushi at a steakhouse. Because apparently I enjoy making questionable life decisions. The sushi roll had a little spice to it, and it was decent, but halfway through eating it I realized this is exactly how people end up in documentaries. Now let's discuss the music. WHY WAS THE MUSIC SO LOUD?! I wasn't eating dinner I was fighting for survival at Ultra Music Festival. I tried talking to my wife: BABE HOW'S YOUR FOOD?! She screamed back: WHY ARE YOU MAD AT ME?! The couple next to us probably thought we were renewing divorce papers. Every time the bass dropped my soda moved across the table by itself like a paranormal activity scene. And the waitress bless her heart she moved around the restaurant like she was late for a flight at Fort Lauderdale airport. Need anything? What are you drinking? Here's your food. Ma'a slow down. Build a relationship. Tell me Something. I felt like I was ordering dinner from one of my cousins during a family reunion: Aight here damn. Then came the bill. $110. For a steak. A sushi roll. Bao buns. Two sodas. And a random service fee that appeared out of nowhere like an unexpected tax from the Roman Empire. I asked myself: What exactly are we servicing here besides my financial decline? Overall, the place is beautiful, the food is decent, and if you enjoy dining inside what sounds like a Fast & Furious nightclub while folded into a child-sized table this is your place. Would I come back? Probably not. But will I remember it? Absolutely. Mostly because my knees are still recovering.
