If you dont cook much or are a home ched like me. This is a great experience. You arrive with your favorite bottle of wine and are given a station and recipes and ingredients. The instructor is very thorough and helpful in making you comfortable with the process, the tools, and the appliance. Today we cooked a delicious pork roast marinated in bourbon teriyaki and Maple bourbon infused sweet potatoes. It was so fun and after everyone made all their dishes we sat together and shared what we cooked. It was a true feast. We will definately be back to try another class.

We love this place. Covid precautions in place for participants. Great teaching and instructions. Food is delicious and this particular French cooking class was new to us so we learned a lot. Highly recommend this place and any of their classes.

What an amazing way to spend an evening!! My BF and I had an incredible evening cooking delicious foods under the guidance of Carrie & Lara. The ambience is set as soon as you walk in the door, the decor is beautiful and welcoming. The dishes were easy, thanks to the recipe guidance that was posted at each station. Enjoying the foods family style with our new friends was a great way to cap the experience. I HIGHLY recommend visiting The Gathering Table - it is an experience that you will enjoy and won't soon forget!

Absolutely loved the idea! Found this when searching for cooking classes on line; I'm always seeking fun things to do. My friend and I attended the Create Your Own Sushi class and had a wonderful time. We not only made a great but made some new friends as well. Carrie is a wonderful instructor; was interactive but not bossy like some chefs can be. Best of all, no need to wash dishes! I did clean my area as we went along so that the clean up wouldn't be that bad but still...no dirty dishes to worry about during or after dinner. I have already decided that I will be attending the Mexican dinner class for Cinco De Mayo. I'll be bringing sangria for my beverage.

Ask the Community - The Gathering Table

How and where do I sign up for classes?

Hello! We post our new schedule on the 1st day of each month for the following month on our website. Our classes fill up rather quickly, so it's best to logon on the 1st to get the best selection of classes. www.gatheringtablefl.com

How much are the cooking classes? When are they?

The individual dinner class prices and schedule are posted on their website. I have been twice now once with my husband & once with my family as a Christmas party and I've never been disappointed

Two classes were in person and two were virtual, all of them were amazing. She is the best, most encouraging teacher and will help you to make the yummiest pasta possible, even if you're not a great chef! I've been able to take the skills she teaches in class and apply them to my cooking by myself at home, which is invaluable. I can now make lasagna sheets, fettuccine, bowties, garganelli, gnocchi, ravioli, and so much more. My guests are so impressed when I can throw together fresh pasta in just a few minutes. The ravioli she will teach you to make are to die for. I mean it. Truly scrumptious and easily one of the best things I've ever eaten. I could eat a bowl of the filling alone. It is so rewarding to eat delicious food, and in my opinion - it tastes better, knowing that you made it with your own two hands. This was such a fun experience to do for girls' night, with my partner, by myself, and with my sisters! It makes a great gift for those that you love. I have a feeling I'll be signing up for another class again soon - I just can't stay away for long.

If you're looking for a fun, beginner-friendly paint-your-own pottery studio, Get Fired Up Pottery…read moreis such a cute and creative experience. You get to pick your piece, choose your colors, and paint at your own pace, which makes it perfect whether you're planning a date, a girls' day, or a solo outing. I came by myself as a little self-care adventure and honestly, it was exactly what I needed. I got in my head at first, but I just wanted to feel like a kid again, and this place made that easy. The staff was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful, which made the whole experience feel extra special and stress-free. They guide you without hovering, and they're great at answering questions if you're not sure what to do next. Just a heads up: your piece needs to be fired, so it takes about a week to get it back, but it's totally worth the wait. If you want a relaxing, creative activity and a memorable keepsake at the end, Get Fired Up Pottery is absolutely worth visiting.

She then told us to look on both sides of the long shelves and pick a ceramic piece that we wanted to paint. They had a nice variety of pottery to choose from. We each took our time selecting our pieces. They were pricier than we expected. I paid a little over $100 for two small pieces (a turtle & a sun). My sister paid about $27 for a small leaf dish to put small trinkets on. After we all had our pieces, the young woman came out from behind the counter, showed us were the brushes were, how to pick the colors we want to use, and told us that the colors will ultimately look like the colors on the wall. She then said to make sure we give it four coats of paint, then she let us begin. We had a lot of fun painting and talking amongst our group. We even were able to walk across the street to see the Artemis II blast off before going back in to finish painting. One improvement that we would like to see would be more interaction/assistance between the staff and the customers. We would have liked to be given more guidance as to how to paint some of the more intricate areas of the pottery pieces. I, for one, wasn't sure which brush was the best to use on certain areas which caused some frustration. I do hope to return sometime to see if these areas are addressed.
