A 3-minute round trip for $14 works out to roughly $280/hour in delivery overhead. If gas prices have risen enough to justify that, we are apparently in an end of the world crisis that I was not aware of. Last I checked gas was $3.75/gallon. I understand costs exist; I questioned whether this structure is reasonable. Those are different things. The current zip code model disproportionately favors customers further away from you, and brings unreasonable costs to your closest neighbors. - You suggested I simply pick up in-store. I wanted a delivery service. A business that responds to delivery pricing concerns with 'just come get it yourself' has missed the point entirely. - You mentioned this affects livelihoods which is precisely why customer feedback about pricing exists.
