Did you know that there's a Guinness brewery in Baltimore??? Neither did I until it popped up on my…read moresocial media, along with the terrible news that it's closing on November 1! I love me some Guinness, so I had to check it out. It's located right up the street from BWI airport. You can't miss the giant building located on US 1. When you enter, they card you can give you a wristband. There's a large patio and a bar outside, plus a bar and seating inside. There's a large gift shop, and very nice, clean bathrooms. You can take two different tours-one focused on the Guinness history, one focused on the Guinness beer making process. I chose the latter. Pat was our tour guide. I learned so much about how to make a good quality beer. We even got to enter where they make the beer-you can't even do that at the Guinness brewery in Ireland! At the end of the tour, we got to same 4 different beers. I'm super bummed that this place is closing! Kinda crazy because it was very packed. Every employee I spoke to was very sad that it was closing. If you're a beer enthusiast and can make it here before it closes, I highly recommend it.

Go check it out before it closes on 11/1!…read more Food- burgers and wings were solid. Well seasoned and served hot. Good portion sizes too. Dranks- all Guinness products only. No other wine or seltzer or cider or non Guinness stuff. Yes, they have soda and other non alcoholic varieties. Service- we sat outside and used the QR code. Drinks and food came quickly and servers were responsive and helpful. Space- such as dope place. Indoor is like a distillery and museum and restaurant. Outside is a huge beer garden, tent, etc. perfect for families, friends, festival, live music and folks to gather. Plus, it's kid and pet friendly. Really chill and well run!

There is a secret black door to enter. You can make reservations however, I was unaware that reservations were needed. We waited for about 20 minutes before a table opened up. Of course, the lights are dimmed inside with a very chill atmosphere. It is also pretty spacious inside for Speakeasy. We enjoy as it was something different to try. I will definitely return

When we entered I was expecting to give a password but it was not needed...lol. It was a little chilly in there and the lady at the desk when we walked in the door was keeping warm with her small heater. I asked where we could sit and she said anywhere. So we sat down in these large egg shaped seats which were really comfortable. Our waiter was really knowledgeable on the menu and suggested some great drinks. We did not try the food as it was past the restaurant hours being open and we had already eaten at a restaurant in the alleyway. I will be doing a review on that Italian restaurant soon because it was really good. I loved the whole speakeasy vibe and the music was amazing. One of the few places that stayed open to 2am...my birthday ended in an awesome surprise! When back in Baltimore will definitely stop in again maybe to try a bite with a drink.

We had Reuben's and loaded perogies to eat and they were just great. Highlights was the welcoming and friendly bartender and the nice people we met sitting at the bar, we even played in the fun Thursday night trivia. Highly recommend!

For a lager-focused brewery, they actually had a really impressive variety of beers. My husband and I both went with IPAs, and we were pleasantly surprised by how unique and robust the flavor profiles were. I only wish one of our favorites had been available in cans to take home! There were also two completely different experiences happening while we were there, a craft event meetup and a make-your-own ramen noodle experience. Both sections were packed, but there was still plenty of other seating, so it didn't feel crowded or overwhelming. We also had a great time chatting with the bartender and hearing about the brewery, its opening, and their experiences. That kind of personal interaction really added to the visit. It's a great new local spot for us, or maybe not actually new, just one we somehow completely missed until now! I'm definitely glad we know about it now and will be back.
