The flavor of this spot is unmatched!! They also are very clear about where their truck will be at all times If you've been on the fence about trying I would 100% give it a shot

Tried the beef tacos at the Farmer's Market in Avon on Tuesday. Very yummy and spiced nicely. We will definitely try them again soon!

I got a hot honey lobster roll from them at Food Truck Friday in Bloomington. It was nice that they…read morecame all the way to Bloomington. The guys in the truck were really friendly. It was kind of a long wait to get my order, but I understand they probably fried the lobster to order, and it tasted hot and fresh when I got it. The sandwich was delicious but tiny, especially for $26! I get lobster is expensive, and I rarely order it anywhere so I guess I don't really know what the standard is, but I really expected the steep price to translate to a normal-size sandwich. I don't like huge portions but I still thought this was too small; I needed to go buy more food from another truck to feel full. Another thing of note is that the sandwich came in what looked like a thick slice of Texas toast or brioche that had been split down the middle, which worked well for this sandwich because the cut surface of the bread got crispy when toasted, but it wasn't the bun that you expect when the sandwich is called a "roll" - I'm sharing this so anyone reading can calibrate their expectations, not complaining. I am undecided on whether or not I would order again, because I liked the food itself but it was unsatisfying to spend so much for so little.

I was really intrigued by all the lobster items over here and husband really wanted to try the…read moreLobster Mac & Cheese so that's what we got. The mac and cheese itself was quite creamy and cheesy, but I wasn't a fan of how the lobster went with it. But I think that's just me the topic of seafood related pastas. Husband definitely enjoyed this though!

That's how I found one of the best Cubano sandwiches I've ever had at Fresko. You gotta get the Cubano with everything on it, though. It comes with pork, ham, pickles, Swiss cheese, mustard and mayonnaise. The woman in front of me ordered a Cubano without mustard and pickles, and I wanted to slap the credit card out of her hand and tell her to just get something else. I don't even really like yellow mustard and pickles, but those two ingredients make the sandwich! The bread is wonderful and soft on the inside, but toasted and crusty on the outside. For a busy food truck, they were pretty quick getting orders out. The food truck menu is small, as it should be. If you're looking for a delicious and portable food to get at the farmers market -- something to eat while you're browsing the tables -- the Cubano from Fresko is it.

The service was awesome. I have never tried their food truck before but because it was next to a business on 46th St. I gave it a shot. I would definitely have it again. nice clean area and the bar had an outside patio that we could eat from the food truck.

Man, was I glad to see the Caveman Truck parked beside the Speakeasy after a few beer samples at…read morethe Indiana Tasting Society event! The menu offered a few different foods with multiple choices on sizes (by the ounce), and the lovely hostess taking our order was delightful. We had a really hard time deciding what to get as everything looked reeeeeeally good, but we opted to split the following: *Bacon Hash -- 4 oz for $4 -- well worth it! *Barnyard chili -- 8 oz for $7 -- pricy yet tasty *Jicama Tacos (one chicken guac and one chorizo aioli) -- 2 for $7 -- messy but pretty good *Fudge bites for dessert -- $3 for one -- dark chocolate, peanut butter, banana, sea salt, and applesauce mixed and formed in to a hockey-puck type solid mass. It was not really sweet like I expected, and kind of hard to eat. Probably wouldn't get it again. Next time I will totally get the Brussels Sprouts for myself when not sharing with the hubs :) I would say overall this was a 3 1/2 star experience for me as it was over $20 for 'snacks' and we were still hungry afterwards, but a star bump for using real, quality ingredients.

Still, I'll support a paleo food truck when the truck has "bacon (greater than) gluten" painted on the side of it. That's one way to get my attention for sure! On our visit my boyfriend and I shared two tacos--one chicken, one chorizo--fried plantains, and the brussel sprouts. I have so many nice things to say about all three. Instead of corn or flour, Caveman Truck uses fresh jicama as a tortilla to hold its protein + slaw + guac/aioli. It's the perfect starchy alternative to cut through the good greasiness of the chorizo. The plantains are not only fried in coconut oil beautifully, but also they are caked with a curry-based seasoning, providing you with a sweet plantain that also has some savory elements to it. The brussel sprouts--my favorite of the three--are fried in coconut oil and topped with an overload of crumbled bacon and a spritz of lime. It's a little bit of fatty, a little bit of zesty and a whole lot of flavor. All three dishes knocked it out of the park. From here on out, I'll be keeping an eye out for the Caveman Truck on the streets of Indy, because I still need to try the highly-praised barnyard chili and bacon hash. If this is how our ancestors ate, then I can't wait to eat the primal way again!
