So my roommate Elliot (real dark red head) is a super regular their on Tuesdays and he always leaves some trail mix stuff out. Now I'm not "crunchy" or hippy dippy and normally don't dig on what some people would call birdfood although I know it is packed with nutrients etc... and I tried and it and I have to be honest. This particular mix doesn't look specail at all, not a fancy assortment or a wild range of colorful edible goodies, just a nice blend of basics and then some and what a great baggie fille with wonderful flavors. The one I'm talking about is called the "Deluxe Trail Mix". Then I've been on this kick and get dried sliced Mangos from Trader Joe's and I tried theirs and they are up there my friends... "Natural Mangos" (new crop from our Neighbors - Mexico) are just slightly sweet and uber tasty. Like paradise in your boca guey. Not here--just do not carry it even though the Nob Hill in Gilroy does. Weird. Maybe I got off on the wrong foot here. On my first visit I tried to find the customer service desk to request a membership card to the store, but not only could not find a customer service desk, but could not find any store employees (except for one person frantically trying to check out a long line of customers). There were a number of people restocking shelves, but none of them were store employees--all of them worked for name brand companies that make the products that go on the shelf. I had to go to the Gilroy store to discover that Nob Hill does not use member cards (like Safeway), they think you can do this on a cell phone and later I found out that I could sign up online via my Chromebook and just use my phone number, but no one at the Morgan Hill store was there to answer that simple question. Because there is no member card for Nob Hill and the selection of items at this particular store seems limited, and items I frequently buy are not carried, I rarely shop Nob Hill at all and when I do want something in their ad, I go to the Gilroy store. Prices are about the same as Safeway, more than Walmart or Smart and Final or Target.
