I love Trader Joe's. The atmosphere and music are always upbeat. The employees always appear to be having a great time. The energy is fun to walk in to. They have a great selection of frozen items and sweets. Their dairy section is wonderful as are Their fresh fruit/vegetable juices. The cheese and old section has a lot of wonderful quick foods as well as staples. The meat dept isn't really big but it is on point with variety. Same as the vegetable section and flowers TJ is one of my favorite stores. Always consistent. read more

Been going to TJ's since it came to Morgan Hill. Love it! The employees are always friendly and nice.....tho they are so efficient they'll barely get out of your way when they are on a mission. I can deal with the remodel and REDUCED parking spaces. This afternoon was different. Was there around 4:15pm (Weds, May 13, 2026). Wandering the aisles...I first noticed it in the produce department, then near the bread, then the other aisles where I shopped. THE MUSIC WAS SOOOOOOO LOUD. It was distracting and really unnecessarily high. When I got to the middle checkstand....huh - the noise was diminished. Is the VOLUME SO LOUD BECAUSE the checkers want to hear it?? PLEASE, please turn it down to 5 -- not 11! BTW, I went to every checkstand: Where are the TJ's Milk Chocolate Bars (in packs of 3)? They had all the varieties of Dark, but no Milk. Odd. read more

Came in for a couple of things I needed. Store is always clean, maintained and well stocked and organized. Employee seam to be doing their work and a bit unapproachable. Once you get to register to check out they seam a bit friendlier. I've noticed this every time i've been here. Love the displayed they had advertising pumpkin shaped pasta and pasta sauce, cute leaf shaped chips and salsa, and some interesting berry flavor cabernet. If you want to eat organic and healthy this is the place to shop for your groceries. Also really like the coffee creamer and butter jere. read more

I love Trader Joe's and this one is nearly twice the size as the one in my neighborhood in Tempe, AZ. As usual, the staff is very friendly and helpful, even though the store was super busy. Nice selection of Trader Joe's products. Many items are seasonal, so items like my favorite Mini Gingerbread People and Butternut Squash Lasagna are only available during the Thanksgiving through Christmas holidays. The parking lot was, of course, just as busy as the store. Check out went faster than I thought it would. The four carts ahead of us were checked out quickly and efficiently and the person checking out our order out was very nice and cheerful in spite of how busy the place was. Maybe the other shoppers were just in a good mood, but they were nice too, making way for each other in what was pretty tight quarters due to the typical Trader Joe's crowd. read more

This location has friendly staff, organized items and fast lines. I always check their website for seasonal items where you can even make a shopping list on there. We love to get healthy snacks, ready to eat meals and stock our freezer with TJ items. The parking lot is a bit tight so park a little further if you want some comfort. read more

I've been driving past this Trader Joe's for years. It's right off the 101 freeway in Morgan Hill. Yes, there are multiple locations in San Jose but I decided to check this location out! When we pulled up to Trader Joe's, the few things that I noticed was how big the building & parking lot was and even how full the parking lot was. It was Sunday morning so I did assume it was going to be busy. The Trader Joe's I've been to are usually in a plaza next to multiple businesses but this was a stand alone, which was different. Inside is pretty much the standard Trader Joe's set up. Flowers in the front, produce and meats to your right, frozen section, so on and so forth. But I will say that the workers here are very friendly & super helpful! And I love it! The other workers at the other locations are friendly as well but I wanna say that I had great interactions with majority of the workers there while I was shopping! Just them ensuring if I needed help finding anything and just asking how my day was going! Even to the gentlemen helping me out at the cashier, exchanging information about their Local Farmers Market that they have every Saturday and the Farmers Markets we have in San Jose. I enjoyed all my interactions with their team! I'm glad that I finally decided to shop at this Trader Joe's! read more

They have good amount of selection for produce than over Trader Joe's I've been to. The amount of food selection they have is also good. Reason for 3 stars is because of the rude cashiers attitude! As I gave the cart to the cashier to handle the bagger said hello and I said hello back. While I was grabbing my wallet out of my bag I heard "you good?" It caught me off guard but I looked up and noticed the cashier looking directly in my eyes. I said excuse me, he then said " you good?" I looked at him in shocked and responded " yeah im good?" He looked away and continued to scan my items. After I paid and got my receipt I noticed the bagger shoved all of my items in one bag. When I went back to my car I noticed my mochi ice cream was getting crushed by all of the fruits and veggies that the bagger shoved in! I immediately moved everything and put it all in the other bags that I brought in the store. I don't know why they shove everything in one bag and not utilize all of the bags I provided to them. read more

TJ must design their parking lots to be as inconvenient as possible. Awkward turns, narrow spaces..kind of like their inside layout. Anyways..if you're a POC, you'll be the star of the show here bc apparently a POC doesn't go to a TJ's. This location is not as inviting as other locations. Checkout time the cashier(non POC) offered the people in front of us stickers for their kid (non POC) and when it was our turn, crickets. Gave us awkward looks and didn't offer us any stickers. Person before us also got chit chat and we got nothing. Now I'm fine not talking but to see my kid and not offer stickers wow. The good thing is their prices are low because it's all processed stuff anyways.. read more

I needed to get snacks for the looooooong drive home. One of my friends is diabetic so I had to look for healthier snacks. TJs was close to where we were staying which worked out well. I found some great pretzel thins, dried seaweed, and these delicious chickpea and lentil chips. I also found these tasty power bars that are low sugar and full of protein. I also picked up these mochi snacks which were very unique. I mean, I'm used to eating mochi that's sweet, these are more savory but I liked them. The 75% cacao chocolate bar wasn't as good as I thought it'd be, I should've gotten the regular dark chocolate bar instead. Friendly workers! Spaced out pretty well and not very crowded. Although, some of them still leave their carts in the middle of the aisles...LOL! read more

I like this Trader Joe's since they have their own private parking lot. They are always well stocked and everyone is so friendly and helpful. We came on a Sunday, about mid day. Everyone is about to be back to school so it was a tad busy but that does't change the demeanor the employees here display. Still very enthusiastic and made sure I found everything I needed. My son and i try to look for new snacks to try. This time around we found pickle flavored kettle chips. I'll be going back for more, he LOVED them! Not too salty and really had a great pickle flavor. Also, because they are kettle they were crisp. We also found a hatch chile flavored bag of popcorn that was delish. Not spicy just a touch of heat and delicious hatch chili flavor. read more

My go-to grocery store! I love how Trader Joe's has new items every few weeks and so many options to go from. I always go to the back corner to see what their new selections are. The food there is pretty affordable and reasonably priced. There are many options for specific diets such as organic, non-GMO, or gluten free. Their frozen foods are elite. The return/reimbursement process is also really easy if you get a moldy or defective item. Also love the selection of unique ingredients! I went on a shopping spree here a while ago for cocktail and nice dinner ingredients. I had a very disappointing experience at Trader Joe's with an employee named Aracely. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional, which made my visit unpleasant. I've always enjoyed the friendly and welcoming environment at Trader Joe's, but this interaction did not reflect that standard. I'd smile at her and say my please and thank you's that we're met with silence and a frown. Even when leaving we said thank you and she didn't even acknowledge it or look out way. I hope the management addresses this to ensure customers continue to have positive experiences in the future. read more

I always pass another Trader Joe's in San Jose just to come to this wonderful location in Morgan Hill. This place is always worth the trip. They have everything you need for families with multiple special needs diets - from Gluten Free, casein free, vegan, plant based, nut allergy, diabetic, you name it. It is always clean and so organized in here and the customer service is par excellence. The produce selection here is phenomenal. The fruits and vegetables are so fresh and well organized. Employees here are always busy reshelving and maintaining the inventory but they will always stop to give you a helping hand if you cannot find something; and they always have a great attitude. The employees love their jobs and love working at Trader Joe's in this location making it a more conducive shopping experience for all the customers. They have a nice selection of prepackaged vegan meals in the refrigerated section by the produce and the prices are great. You can't go wrong with TJ's in Morgan Hill. It's a gem in Morgan Hill. The only problem I find is probably their parking lot during peak hours. They may need to expand their parking lot size in the future as the city steadily grows in population. read more

This is probably one of the busiest Trader Joe's I've been to since it's the only one in South County. The store itself is laid out like the other locations and has the same products as the other ones I've been to in San Jose, Cupertino, and Sunnyvale. They are well stocked with all your favorite snacks and fresh produce. The lines are always long, but they move rather quickly. The staff here are very friendly and will help you find whatever you are looking for and will offer suggestions if they don't have exactly what you need. The other nice thing about this location is that it has its own parking lot that isn't shared with other businesses. They also have two driveways on either side of the store so its never been crazy going in or out - even during peak shopping times. read more

I love Trader Joe's. I've been coming to this location for over three years. What is not to love? They have amazing seasonal specialties. Any of their pumpkin options and I'm in love with. Their apple cider is to die for... Just a little secret, it goes great with Vodka. There a balsamic vinegar chicken is amazing. I could eat that every day of the week. Their produce and salads are always fresh. I love their premade options, makes weeknight dinner planning easy. They have discontinued a few of my favorite things, which makes me sad. I miss their banana waffles, chicken Thai salad with peanut dressing. I hope somebody from Trader Joe's corporate is reading this. What I wanted for my birthday was wireless headphones. I can actually purchase them but I don't think spending $300 is a smart decision. It isn't a necessity. I workout fine w/ my wireless Plantronics. I also want sneakers but do I really need to add another since I already have 5 in my closet? Thinking practically I wanted to allow myself a little stress-free the following day - Sunday morning. I usually get down in the kitchen w/ meal prepping but since it was my birthday weekend I wanted to get some things that will not take more than 30 minutes to prepare. I bought chicken patties, turkey patties, eggs, pizza crust, marinara, and a can of cold brew. It all came out to nearly $19. It didn't break the bank but it tore through the guilt that I felt for being lethargic w/ my health and nutrition but I learned recently that some things aren't that serious. Everything was great but the pizza crust. I wasn't a fan but maybe that was my doing since I baked it yesterday after it was thawed completely. I will be coming back this weekend to get more of those chicken patties. They have mini shopping carts for the kids. Friendly service. Known for their cookie butter. I absolutely love this place. We do our grocery shopping whenever we visit Watsonville or a nearby winery. Its refreshing to shop easily even on Saturday evenings. I love their items so so much and they always have fresh groceries and new items to try. Their breads are good, and frozen items are awesome. Most of the items are without any preservatives or minimum preservatives. This chain provides organic and sustainable products at awesome prices. Come for the free samples, stay for the wine. Just kidding. Stay for everything... I mean, what's not to love about TJ's? Is there a better place to shop for snacks? I think not! Service here is exceptional. Literally everyone that I've ever met working here has been awesome. That's as much a testament to management as it is to the employees themselves. Only one negative: their spice selection is pretty meagre. No paprika for example. Check out the photo I posted to see their entire spice selection (two small rows). So if you need spices, maybe go somewhere else. Their wine selection is really good. Like, surprisingly good. You're not going to find exotic pricey wines, but the wines they do have are always delicious and great value for the money. Honourable mention goes to the porcini mushroom and truffle ravioli. Nomnomnom! Their wild salmon is excellent, and grills up nicely. They have gluten free options for bread. They have a kombucha section that's pretty decent! And... last but absolutely not least, their samples are great. Today they had "mini" ice cream cones that weren't so mini! Good job, Morgan Hill TJ's! Decent Trader Joe's that services this part of the Silicon Valley area. Can't say when this place is not busy because I've only been here once, on a day off work, when I thought it'd be emptier, but there were many mothers with young children grocery shopping at the 1pm on a weekday so I can't imagine what it must be like during a peak hour because I had to park further away at what should've been a less busy time of the day. That said, I'm from so cal so am familiar with the TJ's down there, and so I perused the aisles to see how similar their products are. Much of what I've had 10 years ago are here: their Korean bbq (enough for 2), lemon joe joe's and various other dinner items are not bad for a small couple or single person picking up a quick meal to make at home. read more

I had heat prostration while driving my car from Oakland to Monterey after my car's catalytic convertor had been stolen in Oakland and I had been given a ride to Oakland to pick up the repaired car. I was driving unsafely and needed to pull off the freeway. All I could think of was getting to Morgan Hill TJs where maybe I could recover in the air conditioning for a while. I was right and more so. The staff was so helpful and supportive. While I waited for my husband to come get me, Heather, Lu, Helen and a number of other staff found me a chair, gave me water, checked on me frequently, would have called health services but I was recovering well and chose not to have them do that. I was and am so impressed with their caring and concern. Thanks to them, I recovered and was able to pick my car up the next morning. I am so so grateful! read more
