He asked for a price...and the salesperson said he couldn't give him one. He said there were some new incentives coming in, so he'd have a price from his sales manager in 2 days. I thought that was incredibly strange -- so what, if my dad wanted a car that day, they wouldn't sell it to him? So two days pass and the salesperson calls. All I'll say is the offer he gave my dad was excellent. I had done my research on True Car, so I knew what he could expect in the way of discounts, and their first offer (albeit after two days) beat what I expected. The car ended up being too cramped for my dad's liking, so he went another route, but the lack of pushiness from the salespeople was really refreshing. They were very polite and professional through the whole process.

I been shopping for my first Porsche for a few years now. I searched on the Porsche certified…read morepre-owned inventory and finally found a GTS in colors and options that I liked. I send an inquiry online and was contacted by Frank C. of Orland Park Porsche in IL (frank@porscheop.com) immediately the next morning. There were no photos on the Porsche website due to the car being just received into their inventory. He emailed me photos right away and told me that the vehicle was in extremely mint condition. I advised him that I was also looking at a few GTS locally in GA and that I just wanted to be up front with me. He stated that he understood. Later on the same day he sent me some very good videos of the vehicle inside and out. The car looked to be in mint condition. He told me to take my time and not jump into any quick decisions as I should at least consider his GTS. I went to my local Porsche dealership and looked at 2 vehicles later that afternoon as I wanted to purchase a vehicle locally vs out of state. Conditions of both vehicles were not in the best condition. The interiors were very dirty as the leather looked to be in not the best condition. There were empty coke cans left inside and just extremely dirty inside. Exterior was worse with chipped paint and paint marks into the metal. I was very turned off by the vehicles. I went home later that night and contacted Frank and told him that I did not make a purchase due to the conditions of the vehicle. He advised me his vehicle was in super mint condition and that I wouldn't regret it. I looked over his videos again and decided to give Frank a chance. I never purchased a vehicle from out of state and definitely never bought a car prior to seeing it in person and test driving it, so I was a-little scared. But I put my trust and faith in Frank in hoping I wasn't miss lead. Next morning, it sent me even more detailed photos under bright lights if the exterior and interior. The vehicle looked brand new in the photos. I went ahead and told him, let's sign the paperwork. I was able to e-sign everything and he made the entire process simple and delight. Frank was so nice that he was able to include some extra accessories that made me even more happy. After everything was cleared, he arranged for my vehicle to be shipped to my doorstep in GA. I was considering driving up to IL but decided that it would be better to just have it shipped due to my work schedule and time. Frank updated me throughout the day in what was going on and still send me stunning photos of the car with a red bow after it was detailed. Frank was surprisingly deliver my car within 24 hours of me signing the paperwork. The transport driver was super nice and was awesome as well. The GTS looked better in person than the videos/photos he gave me. The car was delivered in pristine condition just like Frank said it was. He had my temporary tag already on the rear and even provided a super nice surprise inside the trunk. I was so happy with the car that I was jumping for joy. I think I was even more amazed and delighted at the customer service of Frank who made this vehicle purchase one of the best ever. I was shocked on how easy and delightful the out of stage buying process with Frank of Orland Park Porsche was. Frank was the most helpful and courteous dealer sales associate I have ever met. I have never seen anybody go out of their way for a customer before. His customer service skills are top notch. I never got the sense of the typical Porsche dealership treatment as he treated me like I was a family member. After this wonderful experience, I will definitely be buying my next Porsche from him. I have already referred all my family/friends to him because on how wonderful he was. No matter where your located at, If your buying a Porsche, I highly recommend Frank (frank@porscheop.com) because you won't be disappointed.

10/1/26 - Updated to add…read more Joe reached back out by email and offered to locate an Alpine Green Crosstrek Base for me and close the deal; however, when I replied to his email that the two options in the area both sit around 170 miles away, I also explained my concern about the mileage being added to the car at the beginning of the lease. Joe ghosted me and never replied to my email. It seems as if he wasn't really serious about selling me a car. I guess I'll need to reach out to Subaru corporate about this experience. -- 9/26/26 - Updated to add Joe/GM reached out to me on 9/25/26 and expressed his willingness to work with me on my deal. I replied explaining some of my current displeasure, and how I felt that it was disappointing that salesmen at his dealership want to ignore manufacturer offers. He replied stating that he would meet me at a specific rate, one closer to Paul's online quote. However, I still have a bad taste in my mouth concerning how far I had to go to obtain a manufacturer offers from his dealership; also, they sold the Alpine Green Crosstrek during the back and forth between myself, Ian, and Joe, which is the one I wanted all along. I may consider this dealership in the future, but I guess I have to deal with Joe directly to get a deal done because everyone else at the dealership wants to gouge and make money in sinister ways. -- I wanted to give this dealership a better review. But I can't in good faith. I came in and spoke with Ian. I had spoke with Paul (Internet sales) last week and he gave me some pretty specific lease estimates on the Crosstrek Base. I explained my interest in the Crosstrek Base lease offer. I provided the information for a $50 gift card to test drive a car. All was going well.... I received their offer, which was $299-$309/mo. This was about $40 higher than Paul's quote, but less than $370/mo which is what Hawk Subaru offered me. Paul's quote is the first picture, and the second to last picture. I explained this with proof to Ian in email. Ian explained that he wasn't fully familiar with the lease calculation process. I explained the lease offer terms as seen in the attached picture. I asked for an itemized bill on how they were coming to their number. I never got that itemized breakdown. Transparency only comes on their terms apparently. Ian called a couple days later to see if I had made a decision. I had to explain the lease terms according to Subaru's website again to Ian. Three times. He had no idea as a salesman of Subaru vehicles....the terms of the lease offers for that month. No clue. Lights on, but no one's home. He kept wanting to refer to an MSRP which is much higher than the NET CAP COST OF $25,346. Net cap means the cost of the leased vehicle is capped at $25,346 and does not include taxes, fees, and option costs. I explained that I provided him with this detailed math - $25,346 + $2,954 for taxes and fees per Paul's quote + $805 for the options cost. Gerald offered $2,000 off Paul's lease quote, which would bring the total cost to $27,105. I used a general decimal point which I determined from Paul's quote on what the lease amount should be. Ian still wanted to argue and discredit my angle on how much the car should cost on a lease payment. Ian went as far as to say Gerald's calculator online that was used on Paul's quote, along with Subaru's payment calculator, are grossly incorrect. I'm not in a rush to lease a car. I want the best deal according to the manufacturer lease offer for any given month. I'm willing to die on this hill. I thanked him for his time and hung up. Find a different dealership to buy your vehicle, the salesmen here don't understand printed offers on Subaru's website and would try and gouge you thinking that you can't read the terms and understand them.
