    I have purchased 3 Lexus vehicles here A 2002 rx300 in 2012. Traded it in to them for a 2013 Rx350 in jan of 2015. Then in April they had a sc430 red convertible that I just had to have. They referred me to a credit union that gave me 1.9% for 60 months. Cars were freshly detailed and no games were played. I highly recommend this place for a straight forward no pressure vehicle purchase. Chris

I can tell when he's serious or getting close to a purchase. He'll have an appointment. He has been loyal to CarMax since 2015. He loves that they do not hold you hostage while searching for financing. The space is lovely and open. There is water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and vending machine snacks. They also have a nice, clean bathroom. Frenchie came to grab us to keep us from waiting too long. A beautiful, older brown-skinned woman with a lot of patience and a good pair of walking shoes. She explained that she is retired and CarMax was effortless to her. We test drove three different cars; Honda Pilot, Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Infiniti QX60. My husband has to feel the car, literally there has to be a connection. I understand because a vehicle is a BIG purchase, so get what you want and be happy.

I was glad to as myself, sister and late Mother have all bought cars from CarMax (Oak Lawn location). We walk in and we were greeted in a friendly manner and were given Tyler to assist us. He was friendly, knowledgeable and answered whatever questions we had. My friend thought she was going to get either a Honda or a Nissan based off of preference. With inquiring and getting Tyler's advice, she started looking at Subaru's! Another friend of mine recently got a Subaru who is pleased with hers along with one of the other associates there telling us how happy he has been with his Subaru purchase. This purchase took a matter of days because she had a car transported from another location so had to wait for that one to come in. She was also trading in a vehicle along with going through her credit union. The whole time Tyler was great and we were really glad to work with him. My friend is very happy with her vehicle and the experience she had. Great job CarMax of Tinley Park. Keep up the great work! A+!

The vehicle I purchased was not inspected but yet I was still charged the $499. Got the vehicle home, the next day it would not start. I had to get a jump. before I could get a jump, I had to purchase replacement parts because the hood would not stay up. So how did they do an inspection on the car if the hood was broken? Exactly!! Because they didn't do an inspection. If the inspection was done, they would have known the battery had low voltage and the hood needed replacement parts! Called Jason, he would not answer, I went back to the car lot to have his employee call, of course he answered for him. Jason assured me he would look into the battery situation and get me another one. I have not heard back from him. I'm not letting this go!!!! Do yourself a favor save yourself a headache and find someplace else to purchase your vehicle. I do not recommend 0/10. It is very bad business especially when you have poor communication and go back on your word.

The dealership is on 159th Street and closer to LaGrange Road than to Harlem Avenue. They are on the south side of the street and have two entrances/exits into and out of the dealership. I believe it may have been a former Hertz dealership but I cannot confirm this. Enterprise Car Sales is recommended.

I wasn't sure I wanted to go with a Hyundai. I was sad & felt rushed into needing a car seeing that they knew were were in an accident of no fault of ours. I needed to think if this was my only option & of course I didn't want another car payment seeing that I was almost done with the Rogue. Well I was disappointed a couple weeks later that we just noticed & they did not disclose that the back window was replaced. We noticed glass broken on the inside of the back where the door closes. We checked the window the back lights & nothing broke. You can hear the glass as we open & close the back still inside. I called talked to the manager again expressing my upset. I understand that they only are concerned with motor & transmission. That is difficult not to miss though. Sad thing is I noticed the front windshield had a crack in it while there before the buying & manager was like oh go show her as I was reading the carfax report.vThey apparently filled that in. The manager was then he was like oh that is all cosmetic & to put my ipass in that area. Mind you it was down a bit from where that would go. I felt as if this was a brush off. I contacted them today & talk to the manager so hopefully this week i can get it cleaned out & vacuumed. I would have stopped in today but having PTSD from the other accident & didn't hear back right away I wanted to go home. Pictures coming.

    I brought my 2001 mobility van to them for service on a leaking gas tank. They took two weeks and a…read morephone call from me to even get it in the shop to look at it. They claim to have done a smoke test and determined it was a bad filler into the tank, parts were scarce and come pick up the van while they wait for the part. This so far was going to cost me $980 so far. I drove the van for two months, making occasional calls to Paul in service dept to check on ordered part. He either wasn't in, he'd call back but never did or just plain ignored me. After 3 months of silence from them, I found a shop to look at the van. Turned out to be a bad seal and filler was fine. Total cost came to $350.00. I have never had such an unpleasant experience with a service department like this one at Bettenhausen. I'll never step foot in any of their dealerships again. Including when I'm ready to purchase a new $85,000 mobility van in around 8 months. I'll give my money to MobilityWorks. You blew it Bettenhausen!!
