My husband refinanced HIS loan on HIS house as the sole mortgage holder. As his wife, I was required to sign a Homestead Waiver acknowledging I would not make claims if we got divorced. I did NOT sign for that loan but was required to sign the Homestead Waiver as the spouse or my husband would not get the loan. I was never on the deed. He passed away in 2023 and transferred his house to his kids. They have defaulted on the loan. It is now in foreclosure. I was SUED as a guarantor on their house!! Apparently, it is normal procedure to sue anyone who might have an interest in the house?? Just throwing stuff at the wall to see what will stick. This created a nightmare for me. I have lived in my own house that I've owned for over 40 years. We were separated for 12 yrs. UPDATE: 5/28/2025 I have been dismissed ( pre trial) as a defendant in this case after having explained to the plaintiff/attorney that I had only signed a Homestead Waiver. I am still in the court system/online and cannot be removed because this was not a criminal case. read more

You dont get people often who care anymore. Jasmine went above and beyond what was required. All employees at this location are very polite, and actually treat you as a human and not just a customer. I go here often because Huntington Bank is doing savings and loan scandal I believe. So I transfer all my money monthly from Huntington to Numark. And my money adds up here unlike Huntington. If you banked at tcf, before treasury department under biden forced tcf to sell, id move your money to Numark, the Employees are nice, helpful and fyi you get more interest monthly at Numark plus no fees unless use an atm. In point Jasmine did an Awesome job and so do all employees at this location. 10000% better then huntington. I contacted Nu Mark's main offices about depositing a 3rd party government check before heading to the credit union. I was instructed by the credit union deposting a 3rd party check is no problem, expect a hold on the check. I arrived at the union with my tenant to deposit the check, the check would e signed over to me in front of union employees making sure no funny business was taking. I was denied service for a number of unfounded reasons that still don't make sense today. For the record, I haved been a member in good standing for over 3 years, never bounced a check nor nsf. I was told by the person in charge 'they don't know me." After a period on time I explained to her she was biased and didn't realize it. By the way this happened a few months back. They never did business with me despite getting the home office on the while at the credit union explains to the manager it was okay to accept the check. Let a bad taste in my mouth and still bothers me today about the biased used at a credit union. read more

Over the last few years my debit card has been compromised. The first time it happened my card was used to make a 500 dollar purchase. Numark caught it within an hour of the transaction and contacted me before I even knew their was a problem. Just yesterday it happened again. My card was cloned and used for multiple purchases. On both occasions I worked with Kari Hopper. The money was returned to my account within minutes. She sent me a simple form and reassured me that she would take care of everything. She processed the order for new cards and we had them the next day. These situations are never good but the level of service Kari provided made it far less stressful. read more

I tried to get an auto loan through this company. I went 3 days with no response. They said they would call me back and they never did, so after the 4th day I canceled my application. What a horrible waste of time I will never use them for anything ever again. read more

I was supposed to get money back at closing (900$) and seeing as he put the credits in the wrong places I had to go to the bank on Saturday afternoon and pay them 1200$! today I had went into the store they said I had I was approved for a car loan and they said that you know if I have someone to cosign with good credit I'll be able to be get my loan. So I used a good family friend that help me out with the loan to cosign. They said they come back in three hours after application went through so I went back, at 3:30 PM.The lady said you know what I don't want to deal with you our other day with your family friend because they have ,higher score than you do.they are rude, they waste your time, they said I was approved for a loan then I got there then they said I had to have a cosigner which I got a cosigner then all sudden I'm not a prude from it they're worthless piece of crap people do not go there because your time will be wasted!!!!! Go to someone that's legit a really good bank to get a car loan that's what I'm going to do tomorrow!!! read more

We thought that using the credit union would be a good way to go for our mortgage. Owen seemed helpful for the most part except when it came to our offical application after we submitted our offer and put our earnest money. He wanted us to sign an application with an estimate of $9000 due at closing.. He mis-represented what title fees would be cause he was too lazy to call and find out from our realtor and the seller had already ordered and paid for plus they we giving us $3000 towards closing cost. we ended up going with another company for our mortgage adn only need $2800. Owen dod redo our number and he came up with $4000 at closing so he misrepreented his own numbers by $5000 and he's a SR. mortgage broker no trust what so ever in his abilites or knowledge. read more
