And now paper statement is $5 and now there's a fee for checks. All of the perks of establishing yourself with a credit union, are now gone. Anyone seeking to do financial business with them will not be happy. I implore you to establish a relationship with a bank in your area, where the interest earning rates aren't something you have to jump through hoops to attain. Credit union 1 does not care about its customers. I have found better rates at my local bank and they don't charge $5 for a paper statement either. I never had a problem with the workers out of Matteson location. I just don't like the way the company has chosen to fleece its account holders. Not so long ago, it used to be credit unions were the way to go. With credit union 1, that is no longer the case. Forced to choose a star. But officially, the entire organization doesn't deserve any at all.

Be it online transactions, ATM transactions, via phone or in person. Oh!!! And I love their App!!! I am able to make the same transaction I can in person, ON MY MOBILE APP!! IT IS PRETTY DOPE! I went in to handle a business transaction and to make a deposit. There was a long line. It was a Saturday morning(late), so I should have expected it. I like to get up early and make my bank runs, however, it just didnt happen for me today. The line seemed to love fairly fast, and I wasnt really bothered by the wait. When I got to the teller, it was a young woman who assisted in setting up my account, so it was nice to see her again. I let her know what I desired to do this visit and she got to work. And in minutes, I was finished and headed out the door. This place is great!!! So many options for banking, so many extras that makes life so easy when handling your finances. I literally have NO COMPLAINTS!! I would totally suggest this banking institution to my friends, family and strangers!!! I love everything about their and the amenities that come along with having an account with them!!!! I am HIGHLY pleased.

William Villareal is a racist and discriminatory branch manager at Us Bank in Flossmoor, Il…read more This by far is the worst branch I have encountered in all of my experiences with banking. Prior to this terrible experience at US bank I thought highly of Us bank with respect and good customer services. But what I found out that this bank is racist and discriminates against young African males who have an active bank account with them. I walked into the branch Tuesday, December 26, 2017 to withdraw from my own personal bank account. I filled out a checking withdrawal form and walk to the counter which I encountered the bank teller Chavon. As I'm standing there she looks at my withdrawal slip and ask me why am I withdrawing so much from account. Which I was surprised anybody would ask a customer why are they withdrawing any amount of money. As a customer, you don't have to disclose to a teller of why you are withdrawing money from your bank account. Surprisingly the bank manager who didn't identify himself as the manager repeats the same thing as Chavon asked why am I taking out such a large sum of money. He then tells me I'm not giving you any money out of your account until I can verify where your money comes from. Remind you have I have been banking with us bank for over 10 years, I have never in my life been told that I one can't not withdraw from own personal bank account and secondly my funds need to be personally verified by a branch manager. So, as I'm standing there shock he says I don't what you going to do, but I will not give you money out of your account until I verify your funds. I walk outside the branch in Flossmoor, Il, and immediately called US bank customer services, and which at the point the customer service representative says that not of the practices that William Villarreal (Bill Villarreal). They proceed to intervene which he tells his own company service representative that he is not giving me any money because he wants to find out where my money comes from. It clearly stated that I got a transfer from Republic bank. Now I have been at the branch for 2 hrs. at this point. William calls Republic bank to verify my funds which I didn't know branch managers have the right to call other banks to ask if they gave me money, and then proceeds to call the US bank in Matteson, Il to verify with the branch manager named Jen to see if it was okay to release my funds. By the third hour he finally feels like it is okay to release my funds. I will never ever in my entire life step foot in that location.
