Bettenhausen showed integrity, ownership, and a genuine commitment to doing the right thing, which is what earns trust and long-term loyalty. My car sat at the dealership for over a week and a half without being looked at or diagnosed. I understand that service departments can be very busy and that vehicles brought in by tow may take additional time to be seen. However, after waiting that long with no progress, I called to have my vehicle towed to another dealership. When I spoke with the service manager to arrange the tow, I was then told that my vehicle would be looked at that same day. Unfortunately, that was very different from what I had been told previously and only came up once I decided to move my vehicle elsewhere. Better communication and more realistic expectations for turnaround times--especially for towed vehicles--would greatly improve the customer experience.

I spend a lot of time in the area and simply wanted the opportunity to see and drive the right vehicle before putting money down. I left my contact information in case something matching what I wanted came in. Their internet salesperson, Gary, later reached out and immediately asked whether I wanted to leave a deposit. I explained that I wasn't comfortable putting money down on a vehicle I hadn't even seen or driven yet and would prefer to first look at the right trim if one became available. Instead of a professional response, the conversation quickly became dismissive and irritated -- essentially "leave a deposit or good luck." Apparently wanting to actually see and test-drive a vehicle before committing money is now an unreasonable expectation. What's impressive is that they somehow managed to turn a neutral, ready buyer into someone who now won't even consider the dealership and will actively warn others away. Inventory shortages are understandable. Poor customer service is not.

The whole team work together to make you feel comfortable and that your business is important to them. They move things along to make sure that they don't waste your time. If something is deficient or missing, they make sure that you get it and is fully satisfied.. My salesperson Nader Abed was great in providing all the assistance that both me and my wife needed in learning how to use and understand all the electronics in the new A5. We felt confident when we left the dealership. He knows his job and does it well from greeting when the customer first arrive to look or take a test drive to closing the sale and leaving the finance department with signed documents and the keys. The maintenance intervals are reasonable for a driver like me. I don't driver a lot since retirement so my 2023 A6 only needed service two times before I traded for my new 2025 A5. I was fully satisfied with the maintenance performed. I do have one issue that could be improved. I brought my A6 in for a recall that was estimated to take 4-6 hours and possibly overnight. Of course my A6 took overnight. There were no loaner cars available. The dealer could use more available loaner cars for situations like this.

I bought a CR-V years ago from this location and I got 190k out of her before she retired. I had hoped, prayed this wouldn't be a lengthy, horrible process. Actually it was not!! Started glancing at cars on lot, knew I wanted a suv. A lady named Melissa was the only sales rep who came out and greeted me. We went over what I wanted, needed...she found a car just for me...a black HRV with a moonroof(A MUST!!!!!!!). The transaction was smooth, seamless. Numbers made sense. Melissa was professional but also gave a friendly vibe. They totally gutted the place since the last time I was here in 2020. Very nice!!!! Thanks Melissa and Community Honda.

I had an alignment done at Honda of Orland Park and unfortunately had a poor experience…read more I paid for an alignment on Saturday, but the car still felt off immediately afterward. Since the dealership was closed Sunday and I needed it fixed, I went to Firestone Complete Auto Care for a second opinion. They confirmed the alignment was still out of spec and I had to pay again to correct it. I was not provided a before-and-after alignment report at the time of service. When I followed up, I was told everything was "within spec," but no documentation was initially provided and my second alignment report was dismissed. I ended up paying twice for the same service within 24 hours, which shouldn't happen with a properly completed alignment. I'm hoping management can review this and help resolve it fairly.
