Paid $5k to have my car fixed here a couple months ago. The check engine light came on again about 5 minutes after leaving the lot. Took it back in and all the new repairs totaled up to about 9k. Decided to take it down to a smaller mom and pop shop. Went back-and-forth over an expensive head gasket repair that wasn't done properly. Had to take my vehicle back 3 times. They didn't bother to replace or ask me about replacing a $15 seal that blew right after the repair, and then charged me $200 in additional labor to fix it. I paid anyway and just trusted them to do the job properly, but now I find out after my radiator overheated and broke that they never plugged the cooling fan back in after their work, which will cost me another $800 (at a different mechanic, since I won't be returning here). My car was running pretty rough and my breaks were deteriorating. I required all 4 break pads and rotors replaced, a new air filter and my levels topped up. The guys here were very professional, kept you updated and even provided a video of the work they were conducting. They provide a check list of issues that you can select or deselect for the required work. You receive a running total so you know exactly what you're paying. No hidden fees. They also have a negotiation policy where they promise to beat any competitors price by 10%. You can also call up the shop and they're happy to negotiate before your visit also. We just moved to Tulsa earlier this year, I had been getting quotes for our A/C unit and needed to find a trustworthy mechanic. After reading the reviews from other customers, I decided to call them to get an estimate. Ryan (excellent customer service skills) answered the phone and was able to get me in early the next day, and he was prompt in getting me an estimate (better than other businesses.) Their facilities look organized, clean and their staff is friendly, and went out of their way to accommodate with our schedule. I even got to meet Roy the owner of the shop, what a great guy. I have been a big fan of The Garage for years. The manager/owner is present often and always engaging - just a nice guy to talk to. My last two attempts to get my truck serviced were not pleasant experiences. Both times the "one" person that services vehicles was unavailable. Both times there were three people behind the counter, two in chairs and one standing talking to the other two. I don't think the place is large enough to require that many office people when they don't have but one single person to service vehicles at a "walk ins welcome" business. Don't get me wrong - I understand what the economy is with a shortage of workers. I have been in there when they were busy and had to wait before. I don't mind waiting in those situations where everyone is obviously busy. This was not the case today. I hope this isn't the new norm. read more

This place has excellent customer care. They are not about nickel and dime-ing you so to speak. It is obvious by how they conduct themselves and the business that they truly are there to help, without talking about $$$ right out of the gate. They have a very knowledgeable staff. I personally have had interactions with Chris and Jeremy and couldn't be more pleased. My car is somewhat complex and it's nice knowing I can take it here and trust they will take care of it and treat me fairly. We ended up at The Garage on the unfortunate circumstance that our vehicle died on the highway. The staff was very kind and accommodating to our circumstance. We gave 4 stars because maybe we are a little bitter about the excessive amount we had to pay to fix our vehicle. Also because we picked up our car a little earlier than expected (we thought we would be out of town) and I had to wait 30 m to get my vehicle because they took it out for a last minute "test drive" before closing.... Took in one of my cars that was hissing when braking and idling rough, a sure sign of a vacuum leak. they wanted to charge me 900+ for spark plugs, wires, etc that can be done at home. After paying their diagnostic fee i took it to another shop to have vacuum tested and they found it within an hour. Leaking brake booster. Good shop, but will be my last time using them because they couldn't properly locate a problem, and wanted to bandaid things until they found something. I will say their diagnostics with pictures are nice. read more

I think I've found a new mechanic for ALL of my vehicle needs! I've had a tough time finding a mechanic I can trust, and this week -- I needed someone to install leaf springs on my truck. Simple work, but needed a lift to do it safely, so I couldn't handle on my own. After the job was complete, they offered me an oil change -- and let me tell you: The professionalism and real customer service I observed at the front desk and through the glass looking into the shop was outstanding! First time experience with these guys but I couldn't be happier! I had a day off (few and far between) and I have needed to have a new heater fan put in my car to replace the squealing one in it. I had found the part online and ordered it but I haven't had the time or the inclination to install it. Called the Bixby Same Day Auto location and talked to a really nice young man who said "bring it on out". We get it to them about 1pm and pulling in I think this may not be a one day deal as all bays in the garage appeared to be full. Dropped it off and they said they would have it a little later. Called a few minutes later with a quote that would put me about $250 below the dealer price. My wife and I went to Lowes and picked up a couple of things. Stopped at one more store then called to check on the status since we were still fairly close by. It was ready to go! 1 pm to 3:20! I'm sure they aren't always this fast but I was amazed. I Payed them the quoted amount, it works perfectly and they didn't leave a finger print on my car. I will be back for any automotive work I need in the future for sure. read more

I had a fabulous experience with taking my Saab to The Garage! Long story short I travel for work as a sales rep and drive about 70% of the time managing different states for my company. I myself live in Texas but was in Oklahoma for meetings and was on my way back when I realized there was a horrific crunching noise. I initially took my car to Kwik Kar in Tulsa who assessed that I definitely needed an oil change and I was driving with medal on medal being non-existent brakes at that point. They were willing to change the oil but said it was too late in the day too do a brake job and they only had one mechanic on duty. I feared that I was going to have to get a hotel that night and it was going to become a whole ordeal. In the meantime I quickly Yelped auto repair shops around me and came across The Garage in Broken Arrow, OK. They already had a 5 star rating and they were still open so I called them up and was pleasantly greeted by the charismatic Jeremy, who put me at ease, quoted me a fair price and told me that they could get me squared away that evening so I could get myself back to Texas. I brought it over and immediately they got to work assessing the damage and going into action. Jeremy had Roy, the owner hop in his truck to go down the road to get the correct brake pads for the car so as to not have to wait overnight to have them sent. In the meantime the other mechanics looked at the rotors and were able to salvage and scrape saving me $125.00, all the while they offered free Wifi so I was able to get work emails answered. While the mechanics worked away, I also made great conversation with Roy the owner and Jeremy the manger who both take pride in the business and what they do, really caring about giving the consumer a great quality experience. They ended up staying an hour past closing time to finish up the brake job, testing out the car around the block before sending me on my way. Overall outstanding experience, the best I've had with an auto repair business, especially being a female and not feeling like I was being taken advantage of. I would definitely take my car here again if in the area and was needing to have something worked on. Best little perk of it all is they gave me a Starbucks gift card for stopping in, who doesn't love free coffee swag? read more

They treated me with respect, were very honest and up front about the charges and what work needed to be done and even gave me a ride back to my house because the work was going to take a while, then called back quickly to let me know what they found and didn't do unnecessary work.
