The place is definitely more targeted towards kids rather than 3 friends in their early 20s. Even so, you might find something cool. After pondering about it for a bit, I got the the watercolor set ($14) that comes with paint, paintbrushes, and a watercolor pad to paint on. First, it's $10 per group to play as many board games as you want until closing, which isn't a bad deal. They had quite a few games available, and they were helpfully labeled with both suggested player count and board game type (light strategy, heavy strategy, family, etc.). The bar had a decent variety of draft beer options, and there were also numerous canned and bottled beers available. After playing Code Names for a bit, I decided to look at the food menu, and I ended up ordering some chips and assorted dips (guacamole, salsa, and queso) for myself. The server told me that he thought the guacamole was made in-house. I tasted it and I'm not sure that's true, but it was fine :) Overall, we had a good experience here and would definitely come back!
