Love Friendly and was craving breakfast late in the day so it was the last day of school, so I dragged the kids. Our waitress was beyond patient as my younger son had never been and he was being a total pain with not wanting to eat, then he did want to eat, and she was a rockstar giving him back attitude (I told her too, LOL) This place is just like the rest of the Toasts, bright, welcoming and totally friendly - Best Vibe. It is the worst Friendly Toast I've had ever! Ordered the Hash Quesh which I had in other two locations and liked. This one is horrible. The hash bowl is mushy and the scrambled eggs in the bowl had no flavor whatsoever. Even the bacon in the scrambled eggs had no flavor either. There were six of us and only one person thought his food was ok. One has her food barely touched. The service was minimal and no spoon was provided for a coffee with milk and sugar. If you like sweet stuff this is the place for you. I am give it 4 stars. The food, service and Ambiance are great. Here's why... The food can sweet but good . Depending on what you get . The home fries are great they are perfectly seasoned. The breakfast tacos are great too and the eggs look like chicken, but I promise you it's eggs. The eggs on the avocado toast were a little bit over poached. If u want it that way then so be it . The quiche was good but there was broccoli. The breakfast tacos comes with 3 of them so you get a big portion. Some of the drinks come in a small and large. The bloody Mary's are good. The one that I liked the most was the maple bacon Bloody Mary. If you come I would recommend getting that. The Coffey is average. Still good though and they are pretty good size cups of Coffey. "The hollandaise sauce isn't really hollandaise sauce. It's more eggy then lemony." It can be fine but not really. The service is pretty good. There is most always a wait but if you get there at the right time there might not be. The staff of very nice and fun as well. The waitress we had was very fun, and she knew what she was doing. Which is always good. The ambiance is very fun. There are plenty of fun things to look at. Like paintings and statues etc. It is very colorful. The seats look like they are from a skate rink from the 80s plus the tables are fun as well . This place is kid friendly. It does have a kid menu. The bathroom is normal. It has a smaller paper towel holder for the smaller kids. But it is just plane and simple I wish there was more to it. What can I say about this amazing brunch place that hasn't already been said! Great menu from their starters to their meals. My wife is gluten free and the options are boundless for her. The waitstaff is friendly and always accommodating. I love the loaded tots! First time seeing a Bloody Mary flight and it was fantastic! We eat here once a month always trying more options from the generous menu. Everything has been wonderful! I ate at the bar two different times. Equally excellent service, and the food came out screaming hot, it was one of the bowl dishes! Excellent! Mediocre food, poor management long wait times for food and seating even when you're on the waitlist. Joined the waitlist, arrived 10 min before the quoted time, had a party of six, was told your at number one on the list, meanwhile 3 tables called ahead of us. Asked about how much longer after waiting 10-15 min, was told at least another 20 min, was told they only have 5-6 tables that fit 6 people. After another twenty min and no signs of a table available asked if they had two next to each other and got two tables but nowhere near close enough that you felt the party was together. Just as we ordered the table right next to us opened up and I asked could the other two members sit there instead, 5 min later waiter comes back and says no the manager said the table is unavailable, the two person table sat empty through our whole meal which took forever. Ordered food took 30 min for basic items like Mac and cheese, pancakes and bacon with eggs, food arrived very mediocre, no flavor steak Mac and cheese had no seasoning super bland, corned beef hash was grainy and oily. I had the Buffalo chicken grilled cheese and it was delicious. A perfect balance of Rice Krispie coated chicken, blue cheese, American cheese, VT cheddar cheese, pickled onions, and Buffalo sauce. We went to the FT on a Sunday. For very busy days make sure you get on the online waitlist through the Yelp app. Type the restaurant name on Yelp search and then click on the restaurant site. We shopped at the mall while waiting for about 45 minutes. As for the food, I ordered a mocktail and I thought the mug glass was small for $7.50. I like the breakfasts here and I was going to order a breakfast type, but I decided to go with the Bulgogi steak and cheese sandwich. The steak poetion was skippy, and mostly gristle and the sourdough bread overpowered the meat. Fries served cold in a small metal cup. This menu item is way overpriced ($19) for what you get. For $10 I could have got a good size steak and cheese sub next door at Kelly's. Top mgt needs to take a good look at the food value offered to the consumer. My spouse ordered a generic hamburger with the small cup of fries for $14. It was good but still pricey. My advice- stick to the breakfast menu choices. read more
