After placing the order on DoorDash, we arrived at the estimated time. It took forever for someone to help the folks in the queue. I was told to pick up at the bar. Honestly, the place was not that busy. I have no idea why they can't answer the phone or manage the queue. I've been at locations with more people and similar staff size. They need to either improve their operations or hire more staff if it's a busy time for them. At the bar, a guy was in front of me and that order took a bit to complete - he was offered red pepper flakes and parm. And there was some chit chat. During my turn, they got it out but it was obviously missing an order. The lady didn't even notice that line item (soup in a bread bowl) missing. It's listed there - if it is not on the menu anymore, do not pretend like there was nothing wrong. Very shady, very distrustful. I asked the lady about the order and she said the bread bowl is not on the menu anymore. I was going to ask a question and interrupts me and says that she couldn't do anything as she walks away. She didn't even offer me red pepper flakes or parm. Very rude, very distasteful. Whatever, I can take it up with DoorDash but she was rude. I went back with two specialty pizzas. I thought the pizzas were alright - I do have comments. I think the wood roasted pizza concept is good since there isn't one in the area. However, the crust was definitely not the star (one would assume it should be for wood roasted). One pizza (baked potato) was definitely a bit pale for the crust - seemed like it could have been in there for longer but I enjoyed the toppings. The other pizza (holy pork) had a better crust but still something I didn't finish - the toppings were one note. The peach didn't add much to the flavors after it was overpowered by the pork. I think I would be rated the food better cause it wasn't bad but the service left a bad taste in my mouth which lasted throughout the meal. Honestly, I didn't even finish it. I always leave tip for pick up orders and I left one via DoorDash when I placed my order for The Purple Pig, but my experience with The Purple Pig makes me reconsider giving a tip all the time for other pick up orders at restaurants. I order out a lot and haven't experienced this before so it's unfortunate.

The restaurant wasn't fooling around when it comes to garlic. You could smell the enticing aroma of it as soon as you walk through the door. The ambience was quaint. It is connected to a hotel which I'd check out if I were traveling through here again. We arrived at the restaurant around 530pm. The happy hour menu had both drinks and some dinner items on it. My companion ordered the Spaghetti & Meatballs from the happy hour menu. We were told the portion is the same as from the regular menu. It was $14. ($18 on regular menu.) It was a generous portion with three large meatballs. I opted for the Picatta Pasta at $12 and added four shrimp for an extra $6. They gave me five so I'm not sure if the chef made a mistake or was just feeling generous. I'll say the latter! The dish had tomatoes, capers, lemon, and white wine. The only thing I'd add to my taste would be pine nuts! We both totally enjoyed our meals including the bread! I forced myself to leave a little for lunch the next day and it was even better then! Comments I heard from around the dinner were equally enthusiastic about their meals, especially those who ordered the mussels. We're in town for a week and I don't usually go back to the same restaurant twice when I'm visiting a new location but my companion and I are definitely going back again before we leave. It was a Fri and a bit of busy night when we were there but our server Jillian did a great job and was super nice.

Switched to happy hour Montepulciano wine. Much better choice. The wife had the muscles, lots with good garlic bread. Also the Caesar salad with anchovies. She loved both. I had the chicken marsala. A little different from what I have had before but good. Would like to try a tomato dish but they are closed the next couple of days. Sorry no photos. PS. The Tiramisu was 5 stars!!! Very good.

As expected, maneuver around the location and parking were problematic. Because of that, and the cold weather, we came early, arriving about 4:40. While we were willing to wait elsewhere, the proprietors seated us immediately while we waited for our other two parties to arrive. Big props for being accommodating. The food was top notch and the menu ranging from commonplace to exotic. Every dish had an element of gourmet treatment. All the entrees we ordered were excellent. The venue is small. I wouldn't say 'intimate', given that it has large windows facing the street, but it was cozy enough on a cold night. OUr server was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Prices are not cheap, but reasonable for the quality and creativity of the menu. We didn't order wine, but instead Italian beers in a brand I'd not heard of, allowing us to try something other than the usual two brands commonly available.

Service was outstanding, it felt like a choreography with how well our server took care of us. The space itself is part restaurant, part bar, with that odd almost-purple lighting that every spot for locals seems to emit. It's a bit noisy inside as a result, but it is what it is I suppose. The burrata starter was delicious. The burrata itself was so fresh, and the accoutrement were similarly tasty. For mains, the insalata with octopus and shrimp was really good, packed with seafood and balanced with citrus from a light dressing. The ravioli pueblo was interesting. The chile in the sauce was a really nice touch, adding some interesting spice to the dish. The sauce itself was very thick, the heaviness took away from the dish a tiny bit. But all in all, a great sit down meal in Pueblo!
