The staff is very friendly and they're happy to help you with your projects or answer questions. They have a lot of great art on display and we even found a piece that we purchased while we were there. We loved that they also have framing inspiration hanging so you can get an idea of different projects that they might be able to do for you. Now that we know about this spot we'll be back to frame some of the pieces we've been waiting to hang up.

They all worked on the card and the results blew me away. I wanted to be able to keep it and look at it forever, but it was fragile and needed expert framing. A friend suggested Artistic Edge, and the rest is history. Jessica spent the best part of an hour with me going over all the various possibilities. The color of the frame, the size, the matting, the various parts next to each other, the weight of what would be the final product. She acted like I was the only person of importance throughout all of this back-and-forth as I changed my mind over and over. Finally I was ready, and she said that it would be ready by X amount of time --- probably a bit sooner. Off I went. WEEKS before the date promised Kathy called and said the artwork was ready. When I arrived and saw it displayed I cried --- it was exactly what I wanted and ever so much more! Kathy talked to me --- and LISTENED --- as though I was the most important person in the world at that moment --- I told her all about who made the sticker card artwork and when and why, and she just listened and smiled and chatted and was wonderful. I took my artwork home, hung it up, and took pictures for all the sticker artists to enjoy. Everything has come out perfectly! This is a beautiful, meaningful, lovely piece of art, in the absolutely perfect frame. Artistic Edge did an awesome job --- they respected the artwork, they respected me, they threw their artistic talents into this, and I feel that at the same time they got a kick out of doing it. We all of us have beautiful, meaningful artistic treasures hanging around our homes. I can promise you that if you bring them in, Artistic Edge will give them glory in a whole new dimension! What a fantastic place!!!

I really wanted to have it framed in a frame that was hanging in her nursery when we brought her home from the hospital. Only problem, the art piece was in a rectangle shape and the fame was a square. Kevin was friendly and very knowledgeable. He assured me he could cut the art piece so that it could fit in the frame without losing any of its integrity. He was right. The end result was perfect! My daughter loved it and even though it was the holidays and the store was always buzzing when I was in there...Kevin got the project done in just a couple days. We'll be redecorating her room this weekend and finding the perfect place to hang it! Thank you Kevin for adding some ease to my holiday season and for making my vision a reality!

We couldn't have been happier, starting with her initial analysis along with the painstaking care that brought our 29" x 36" heirloom oil painting back to life. The painting had hung in my parent's dining room for many years and before that it was in my grandparents' and great grandparents' homes in the Chicago area. On initial inspection, Stella told us that the last restoration had been botched and that the framed painting had been improperly mounted on Masonite. She detailed the restoration process and gave us two options -- full or partial restoration -- with two different price tags. We chose the full restoration. She sent us photos as the restoration progressed so we could see how much of a difference this would make. Now, 3 months later, we have our beloved painting back in our home. We're seeing detail and colors that we never knew existed. And best of all, the final price was exactly what she had quoted to us. Stella is a real pro!

The frames are made of plaster, that was cast over wire. They are at least 100 years old. Chunks missing. The photos are curved. No glass covered them. The glass was lost or broken years ago. No way she could find glass that could fit the photos and the frame. The restoration took Stella around 3 months. Now I am talking about MUSEUM QUALITY restoration. When I picked them up I couldn't believe my eyes. The picture of my Grandfather, (which was almost torn in half and is the only known picture of him in our family)was nearly pristine! As was the one of my Grandmother. Now these treasures will be able to be passed down for many, many generations. Thank you so much Stella. It would be very difficult to give an accurate estimate that way because there's a lot of dry rot underneath the steps which needed to be inspected in-person. R&B Framing was the only company which showed up to take a look at the steps. Two days later, Jose Cedillo emailed me an estimate and thoroughly answered my questions. His company uses Redwood or cedar wood for Victorian homes, though cedar does cost extra. We were surprised by how fast his crew finished the job. They showed up on April 9th, early in the morning and worked until the evening. They arrived the next day to finish the rest of the steps and the banisters. He also painted the banisters according to the original white creme color. If it's a legacy house, they'll stick to the originality of the Victorian architecture. (Per building code regulations, when a house is considered a legacy house the paint must be the original--or close to the original color--of when the house was first built.)

From the outset, Alex was an absolute pleasure to work with. His communication was outstanding. He kept us informed throughout the project, always letting us know if he was running late, if plans changed, or if something needed our attention. That kind of reliability and consideration makes an enormous difference during a major home improvement project. One thing we particularly appreciated was Alex's patience and willingness to collaborate. Our home is a mid-century modern, and choosing the right wood colors was really important to us. Alex was a terrific sounding board, offering thoughtful advice and working with both of us to find the perfect combination. We agonized over the colors and didn't make our final decision until practically the last minute! Through it all, Alex was unfailingly patient, gracious, and accommodating. He never once made us feel rushed or difficult. They were also incredibly respectful of our home and property. The worksite was consistently clean and orderly, and there was none of the blaring music, shouting, or general disruption that can sometimes accompany construction projects. Even the demolition was remarkably efficient: the old deck was removed in a single day, and by the end of that day, you would hardly have known it had happened. We really appreciated the care they took to minimize the impact on our daily lives. And, of course, the workmanship is excellent. The attention to detail is evident throughout, and the finished deck is absolutely beautiful. It complements the architecture of our home perfectly and has completely transformed our outdoor space. It's rare to find contractors who combine excellent craftsmanship with such professionalism, communication, patience, and genuine consideration for their clients. Alex and Alex were a delight to have around, and we couldn't recommend Build It Easy more highly. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

I can tell from his work, he is really passionated and proud of his craft, which is a very rare gem these days. I'm really speechless at the kind of work that he did. I came in with a damaged canvas. He stated that he can fixed it by vacuuming it out. He said it will most likely fix most of it and it will require time for the canvas to sketch and heal. I came in today not expecting the best but I was wrong. He made my canvas piece look 10x better than it was before. It simple language, he made it look flawless. When I mean flawless, I mean flawless. If anyone knows me, I am so OCD and very picky with how I want any of my finish product/piece/collections to look a certain way and Doug met that expectation. I thought I was going to come in and have to ask for a refund if I see one thing wrong or not perfect with the frame, but I didn't have to. Everything was perfect. Furthermore, Doug and his daughter were extremely patient with me as I was going over how I want something to be done a certain way.
