I had a hard time finding some off the shelf solutions for a skateboard deck frame that could do a custom painted skateboard deck the justice it deserved. I searched all over the internet, and in the end, opted to support local business, and I'm glad that I did. I took the deck into The Frame House, had a conversation about what I was looking for, which would up being a shadow box with a mount that would make the deck appear to be floating in the frame. I paid for the work, and was told it would be done by December 2nd, but likely sooner. About a week and a half later I received a call that the work was complete, and I drove down to pick it up. EXCEEDED. ALL. EXPECTATIONS. Holy smokes - the box was beautiful, and whatever vision I had for this frame was blown away by the finished product. I can't give any higher recommendation or praise to The Frame House. If you need framing, custom or otherwise, check them out!

Scott helped me pick out a frame that mimicked the craggy cliffs in the photo and found a way to show the signature too

We are delighted with how Scott framed our pieces. He was able to suggest frames and mats that really draw out the colors of the art and make them pop. He also took special care to customize the mats so that the artists' signatures at the bottom of each piece of art were highlighted. Turn around was quick and the pricing is fair. Scott does amazing work and even the back of each piece is beautifully finished with hanging hardware included.

Scott is the man!! So beautiful!!

Scott was kind and professional! I'll definitely be coming back!! Thank you for a job well done! Jason

Here are the oil paintings that now glow after being cleaned by Ninya Lee Greek and re-framed in more suitable frames by Scott.

If you're using any other frame shop for your cherished artwork & photos than Gina's Art & Frame in…read moreVista, you're missing out on the BEST personalized, quality service in North County San Diego. Gina is dedicated to provide the BEST advice and professional service to please her customers. We've used her to frame 4 or 5 pieces of Art for our home over several years. She is pleasant & congenial, and takes a personal interest in each person's project. Without asking, Gina. goes the 'extra mile', above & beyond, treating each piece as if it were going into her own home. Example: I brought into her shop a 28x34" framed print that had been on a bedroom wall in our house for 7 years. We noticed bugs had gotten under the glass, and I took it to Gina's for a 'clean-up' last week. She showed me that the paper backing had torn, and that's how the bugs got into the frame. Gina removed & cleaned the glass, removed the bugs, replaced the artwork, added a new & stronger backboard, and new wire to hold a 50-lb frame. She even touched up some spots on the green colored frame The entire frame & artwork has a new refreshed look. I'm extremely pleased, and I'm fully aware that I would never had received that level of 'extra service' from any national chain frame shop. This business is Gina's livelihood, treats it with 'kid gloves', and depends on the local community to support her small retail service business. Bring your best & favorite photos & artwork to Gina's Art & Frame Studio in Vista to experience the same level of exceptional service like I've received !

We trusted Gina with another project after a prior one went fine. The one in question involved her carelessly leaving dust under the frame. She lied about it being dust and said it was the a flaw on the print. She offered to reframe it if I got a duplicate replacement. When the frame with the duplicate was complete, she returned the original print - no dust was there. She admitted that she had missed the dust. All of this problem could have been easily avoided except due to her carelessness. When we inspected the re-do, we found the previous flawless print/gicle was creased in the frame - print #2 now damaged. She negotiated a replacement with the artist again (#3) and reframed it. Today, when I went to pick it up, I asked for the creased print back (#2.) She refused to give me my original back ... was hostile. When I demanded my property she produced a firearm and threatened me with it in front of my family. The story speaks for itself. A police report was filed with SD Sheriff and complaint filed with the BBB. Update May 2026: the product received from Art & Frame was quoted and priced as premium materials. Those materials are now discoloring behind the frame. 1 star review earned

Also I know I most likely won't see the same piece of art at someone else's house. Usually the pieces of art are on the affordable side. This gallery is on the bottom floor of OPT so it may be a little hard to find. The gallery is not huge but it definitely has some size to it. Lacey called Canon and found out that the cameras I had were unable to repair because canon no longer makes parts for the cameras. Lacey then handed me the phone and put me in contact with the Canon customer loyalty program. I was able to buy 2 replacement cameras at a discounted rate from Canon. Canon also sent me a shipping label to return the broken cameras so they could recycle the parts.
