I'm not sure why people review doctors on yelp, but it seems like it's become a thing and most…read morepeople only do it when they have a complaint. I'm one of those people who avoids the doctor because it seems like a painful process. There's the calling and then the waiting to get in and then the waiting when you get there and the surly help. Yuck. So I was happy to find this place and select them as my PCP. Online scheduling. An efficient office. Friendly & knowledgeable people. And prescriptions automatically sent to the pharmacy so I don't have to wait. Perfect experience.

I understand that I missed appointments in the past, and I take responsibility for that. However, those missed appointments were months ago, and since then I've been told that I can only schedule same-day appointments. The problem is that when I call for a same-day appointment, I'm then told the office is already fully booked. That leaves me in a situation where I'm unable to schedule in advance, but I also can't reliably be seen the same day. I called today because I'm currently dealing with an issue that requires medical attention, and I even took half a day off work specifically so I could be seen, only to be told there was no availability. I completely understand having policies regarding missed appointments, but there should also be a reasonable path for established patients to regain normal scheduling privileges, especially after several months. A policy that prevents a patient from scheduling ahead while offering no guarantee of same-day availability makes it extremely difficult to access care. After being a patient here for years, it's disappointing that I'm now considering finding another provider simply because I cannot reliably get an appointment when I need medical care.

Very disappointed. They only seem to care about DOLLARS not your health!! The specialist that they…read moresent me to (and that I'd seen before) told me that I needed a renewed referral for a previously scheduled appointment. I followed Neighborhood Medical Center's protocol for requesting a referral renewal (must fill out form online - cannot call - 1 week before doctor visit). I did exactly everything they requested and they still did not send the referral to my doctor's (specialist) office. I called several times, as did my doctor's (specialist) office -- and I didn't get a call until 4:36 PM the day before my appointment was scheduled with the specialist. When they DID finally call it was to tell me that they wouldn't re-send my referral unless I made an appointment and was seen by them even though I had JUST been seen about 1 month prior (and note they didn't mention anything at that visit about needing another appointment to get my referral renewal). Obviously I couldn't see my specialist the next day so I had to cancel that appointment (with a fee for cancelling less than 24 hours in advance!). Note this is a specialist that Neighborhood Medical Center insisted I see because of the health issue I was having. Yet because they are totally disorganized referral process (and lack of communicating what was needed when I was just in their office or anytime prior to my scheduled specialist appointment) I now cannot see my specialist and get my medication. Neighborhood Medical Center was HORRIBLE at communicating and incompetent in their practices. They don't care about your health, and actually put it at risk with their clerical "procedures". I will be finding a new PCP.

That aside, with chart in front of her, she 'forgot' I was diabetic the first 3 visits. I felt I got better care from her assistants and routinely see them now. Unfortunately, this practice has been "between office managers" for several years now. Multiple urgent phone calls to refill prescriptions have been ignored. I'm seriously considering a letter to the Board questioning her ability to meet "standard of care". The last time I was ignored after multiple calls, I had to show up in person to get a response. I'm done. Actively looking for an alternative PCP and recommending patients stay away for medical care. I do not use her aesthetics business, so I cannot comment on that part of her business. Dr. Reihsen was made aware of this problem when it first arose and chose to do nothing about it. I sincerely hope this review makes her reconsider for the benefit of her remaining patients.

Due to circumstances, I ended up at Advance ER and came away extremely impressed with the staff and facility. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Facility, Return) Atmosphere - I was immediately greeted upon walking in and directed to sit in a very nice waiting area. While this is a full emergency room, I felt like I was in a nicely decorated doctor's office. It made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. 1 Star. Service - The staff went above and beyond. I explained my situation, provided my ID and info, and the helped me throughout the process including assisting with paperwork. Each of the nurses on staff were also helpful, treated me with respect, and the whole time I felt very at ease. 1 Star. Facility - This is the most impressive part of Advance ER. It's like a hospital floor, with a nursing station and examination rooms. Also, they can do everything on site, like imaging, blood and urine work, and more. This makes it very convenient because I didn't have to go to different offices. Everything I needed was done at Advance ER. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes (actually No, because it means something happened to me ). But Yes I would recommend Advance ER to anyone who wants a one stop shop to get a checkup/imaging/prescriptions, etc. all in one place. 1 Star.

Here's the problem...my son went in to check on a sinus infection and the bill was close to $5,000. Gave him an antibiotic pill after a basic check up....ridiculous. Stay away from this ER, it's a total scam.
