Got my phone fixed 8 days ago the fix leaves their customers out of money and a even more broken phone 300$ down the drain SCUMBAGS

8 days ago I was scammed into getting this screen, they taxed me 180 to fix the "issues" I had with it and "felt bad" and gave me one of their cheap protection screens then proceeded to tell me to not come back after making a scene of calling them out for scamming me 300$ all of these phone businesses in Springfield Mall work with each other so don't think any other place would've been better those pop-up stores to the store that is right next to the cafeteria.SCAMS. 20 minutes to 30 minutes go by and you'll be walking around the mall and proceed to see the guy that you gave your phone to in another phone store getting the process done. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PASSWORD THEY WILL try to see how much money you have on your Apple Pay or cash app card to then "market" a tip they will tell you that they cleaned out your phone that they got all the water out of your phone and all the dust particles out of your phone then proceed to convince you for a 25% tip all I wanted to do is get my phone fixed and now I'm almost $500 on a phone screen.. take these people down before they kill the mall experience for everybody

My screens permanently like this after the second time they replaced my screen.

Falls Church City

Brought in a overheating and dead Iphone. He was able to diagnose the problem and recommend a…read morerepair. Cost came in right in the middle of the estimate range. Thank you Mr. Fix.

Update: I was not contacted by the owner, and I have texts from the business refusing to refund the…read moreservice. They originally offered to refund the labor only or replace the part again, but after two failed installs, that wasn't a good resolution plan. I was able to get an approved dispute with my credit card company and was fully refunded. A reply to my review making it look like there was an attempt to refund me isn't transparent. Again, sometimes it's best to measure a business on what happens when something goes wrong, not just when everything goes right. A true measure of a business is how they handle things when things go wrong. I want to start by saying the actual service experience was good. Fast turnaround, friendly staff, and when my first screen replacement had dying pixels, they replaced it under warranty without any pushback. That part of the experience deserves credit. However, the second replacement screen was also defective. Graininess in low light, visible dark spots, and the screen would go completely black during phone calls. At that point I asked for a refund rather than a third installation, since I'd already spent enough time and didn't want to gamble again on the same part. This is where I think the real test of a business happens. Anyone can deliver good service when everything goes smoothly. What matters more is what happens when it doesn't. I had an independent diagnosis from Apple confirming the display issue, and the shop initially agreed to a refund on the condition that I return the old screen. The problem was that Apple, who repaired the phone separately, retains all replaced parts as their own property and doesn't return them to customers, a policy I confirmed directly and documented for the shop. In the end, the shop declined to issue a full refund and only offered a partial refund for labor, even though the part itself was the source of the defect, not the installation. I came into this wanting to be fair, and I gave the business multiple chances to resolve it. I think it's reasonable to expect a full refund when a product fails twice, especially when returning the part wasn't even possible due to circumstances outside my control. I'd recommend this shop for routine repairs based on their speed and friendliness, but be aware of how they handle things if something doesn't go as planned. They would reference that they work with the local Apple Store, but I spoke with the Apple Store and they have several customers come in after poor third party replacements and service.
