I argued that I know we're paying a little bit more for the convenience of being close, but Apple only charges about $89 and I didn't understand the huge price difference. He blamed it on my daughter for not asking about the price first. Continually talked over us while trying to dispute. He criticized her by telling her she should take better care of her phone (In my opinion, she's done a fantastic job taking care of her phone considering it's 6 years old and took this long to need a repair). He tried to make it all better by offering her a phone case for free. We declined and filed a complaint with Mall Management. He took advantage of a naïve young lady. Very predatory and very condescending. I'm not typically one to leave reviews, but this shady service was over the top. I'm hoping my review helps at least one person from getting taken advantage of. Negative 10 stars. FYI-There's a jewelry store a few doors down that said they would've changed the battery for $65.

Every person there is great-respectful, honest, and sometimes even funny. They actually communicate with you and tell you usually within a half hour how long something will take to fix. And here's a shocker for Seattle, they'll tell you if they've encountered another problem that may take longer/and or that it wouldn't be worth fixing. The bottom line is, if I could build a large company that fixes devices, I would start with Jet City as the model, and build every store exactly like it. A successful organizationIt starts with the people it hires. They have that locked in at Jet City. Erik Oh, and btw, they have a bulletin board where you can tack a sticky note about how your phone/device got broken. It's ok to fib about it. That makes it funnier.

So far the man has helped me fix an 81' 23 inch Zenith console TV (by repairing the 9-160 board), and also a 1980 Zenith "Integrated Stereo" system. Literally every other shop and tech in a 50 mile radius had turned me down (for the last 10 years or so) on these specific devices - BUT Victor took a chance, and said basically "Eh, 50/50, I try... I love the weird old stuff." Well, the dude knows his stuff (weird, old or indifferent), and he didn't just try, he went far and beyond what any normal person hoping for a quick buck would do - and honestly, even IF he hadn't fixed these 2 items, I'd still just be thankful the guy is around and still having a passion for fixing this stuff. I took it to Sang and I have no clue how he was able to do it, but he retrieved the data in a day. For $100. I can't tell you how excited my friend was to get these pictures recovered. 5 stars isn't enough.

I took it back to them and they fixed it for free. However, when I got home I noticed that the start button and the camera weren't working. I think this is probably due to damage from being exposed to water when they didn't waterproof it. When I took it back to them, I left it with them thinking it would be free since they had caused the damage, but they charged me $75 to repair the camera and start button. Also, the new screen is noticeably poor quality. The whites are half as bright as my friend's iPhones, and the screen doesn't go full black - when it's off you can see the rectangle of the screen in a lighter black than the black of the phone. Also now I'm afraid of getting it wet.

Cooper was the very first one who replied & provided the least expensive cost for my broken charging port. I dropped my phone many times and it created some sort of black round shadow on the screen and it didn't bother me at all and my main concern was my charging port. I showed at 4pm today and met Cooper - a very friendly and professional guy. We discussed the issue and provided me a pager. He paged me right away because he saw the damage on the screen and offered me options. What he quoted me was a little bit less expensive compared to Apple Repair (which was $150) and the kiosk store in Alderwood Mall (quoted me $300). He said if I do the repair on the screen now along with the damaged charging port, he will give me a discount of $20. He seemed legit, so I said yes. I didnt ask how long the wait time was-- I waited for his page for 2 hours and I decided to walk back to his store before 6pm --- and he said he was paging me but I was 3 blocks away and just learned the pager works only from a few feet away! So maybe, this information needs to be mentioned. Overall, I am satisfied with the result! My bill was $195.98. There's a warranty coverage, too!
