Broke things tried to hide it from us at first but we found the piece in the trash can. Ridiculous rates for the low care of our items .

Extending my highest assurance of endorsement. I've moved…read moreso many over my military career that I've developed a great eye for talent. The day I met John the trust I felt was instant. I liked that he asked me what I needed, took a walk with me, and gave a pragmatic assessment. I literally had a ton of weight lifting equipment, two home offices, four bedrooms, shop equipment, two living rooms, sports equipment, and the usual accumulation of things families stuff into their homes after years of being in one place. Guess what. Brandon, Reece, Edwin and Chris accomplished this cumbersome move in the heat in less than 6 hours. Not a mark on the walls. Not a ding in box. Error free work knocked out with great attitudes and a great deal of sweat. These guys moved faster than UPS delivery during Christmas. We had a five hundred pound antique chopping block that Wifey wanted to move to a couple different places before she was content. They did it without delay. Just wonderful. John dropped in to confirm excellence and was not surprised to see that these four were way ahead of schedule. A fair price and money well spent for the peace of mind I sensed from the get go. Well done Lads. Well done!!

The driver that picked it up was friendly and helpful. The trailer was had a lot of room (our house wasn't small) and we only paid for what we used. Everything was well secured and all of our items made it 2,000 miles away ontime and intact. Once we got to our location, U-Pack was pretty flexible when we could have the trailer delivered and we had more than enough time to unpack it. U-Pack was worth every penny!

Now the bad ,I used ABF UPACK twice to move across the country. On both moves the bulkheads in the trailers were damaged to the point that i could not install them by myself. On the first move the handle that locks the ratchet in place was broken. The driver and I had to forcefully hook the looking tabs into place and use plastic zip ties to hold the ratchet handle in the locking position. On the second move the bars on the bulkhead were bent so bad that the driver had to use a hammer to beat the locking tabs into place.Upon arrival the driver had to use a hammer to beat the locking tabs out of the slots they fit into. This review is in no way a bad reflection on the Drivers, without their help i would not have able to install the bulkheads. Both drivers told me they would report the problem to the people responsible for the equipment.

And didn't finish my 2brm 1 level home that only had, 1 couch, 1 loveseat, 1 wall mirror, 1 wall picture, 1 headboard with the bedframe, & 40-50 small-medium sized boxes until 2:45pm!!!! Their Manger arrived at 11:30am to take down the 2 beds for them. They didn't want to touch my treadmill unless it was disassembled. So I ened up calling another more professional & expernced moving company who disassembled the treadmill for them. The manager complained & told 2 young guys NOT to take the disassembled Treadmill upstairs at my new home. He told them to just leave it in the kitchen. The 2 young men let me know what he said. The manager came to the new location after they all had lunch to bring a 3rd helper for them to unload faster. What didn't know was the other more professional moving company was coming to the house to reassemble the treadmill for them. So he showed the young men how to properly lift a 220lb treadmill which was already dismantled & helped them carry it upstairs for me. I regretted not going with the more professionally experienced company. Because i would have save $400 for more experienced movers who could have been done in 4-5hrs vs, instead of the 2 young men who had only been working for 2 Men & a Truck for 1 month! Yesterday's move with 2 Men & a Truck was my worst & most expensive same city moving experience ever!!

Still everything was packed up safe and securely. We were moving 15 hours away and the movers finished packing up Friday evening. When asked when I should expect delivery I was told, "between the following Monday and the second Wednesday after that." Not really a good time frame, especially around Thanksgiving time. I was then told, " more than likely it will be The Wednesday before thanksgiving, or the Monday after. To save in hotel cost we decided to bounce from relative to relative while our household was in transit. On Monday morning at 7am, 2.5 days after the house was packed up, the driver called wanting to know where we were so he could deliver. It would have been nice to know the shipment would be there on Monday before it shipped out. It felt like everyone in customer service doesn't care about informing their customers on a Friday and would rather get out of the office early. Once I let them know I would be there Wednesday I was rudely told that I would be charged for storage. After finally getting in touch with the customer service rep, everything was smoothed over but I'm sure my company got charged for storage while we hurried our trip, and incurred more hotel costs, all due to lack of communication. The delivery went great and the two gentlemen were quick and polite. The next week I inquired about box pickup and after they confirmed it was included, said they would call my local office to get that scheduled. Fast forward 3 weeks and the boxes are still broken down and stacked, as they requested, in my garage and they have still not gotten in contact with me. It would be nice if the same smiling customer service I got when I first got the quote, carried all the way through until the end of the moving experience. After careful consideration, they have been a lot better to work with than the last moving company I used so I will give them 4 stars.

In September 2010, the manager, Greg Barnes, gave me his personal assurance that his company would deliver high quality personal service, and he told me that I could contact at him at any time with any concerns. I requested shipment in June 2011. I was charged storage fees for July and charged freight for two crates even though I had written confirmation that all my belongings fit into one crate. My crate did not leave until the end of August 2011. Furthermore, KY Moving & Storage erroneously addressed my crate to the Isle of Man (off the west coast of England), something that they have refused to comment on -- fortunately an English middleman noticed the anomaly when the crate arrived in Southampton. It took dogged persistence on my part from Aug 23, 2011 to March 7, 2012 to reach some resolution, and this thanks to the involvement of the Better Business Bureau. During these months, I was ignored for weeks at a time or passed between staff members whom each claimed no knowledge of my account history but promised to look into it and follow up by the end of that week and never did. I am disappointed that Greg Barnes did not respond once. The difference in shipping cost between one crate and two was estimated at $1,200. In the end, I was only able to recover $850, but, quite frankly, I had endured months of stress and frustration, and I had spent hours of my time, and so I decided to accept the offer and get on with my life. Be warned!
