Broke things tried to hide it from us at first but we found the piece in the trash can. Ridiculous rates for the low care of our items .

This was the worst experience. He didn't help me at all because he was mad my boxes weren't taped. They charged me $600 to do little to no moving. I had to beg him to move a chair because he said "if it's not listed it's not going" after trying to just leave me with no move all together. Please save yourself the stress of not knowing who you'll get. I'll be ready to offer however much to anyone the next time BUT them. You should use them if you like it when a front desk lady that yells at you, too . read more

I'm honestly baffled by negative reviews here. I have used The Firemen Moving Company for multiple local moves. Their professionalism, care, and demeanor are always top-notch -- nothing is ever too much trouble for these guys. In 2021, after devastating tornados came through Bowling Green, they moved me from my then-uninhabitable home to a one-bedroom apartment (up a not easy to navigate flight of stairs on a terribly cold night) and made me feel as if it was all in a day's work. Today they moved me again - back to a home on Magnolia Street. Huge value for money from the movers as well as their amazingly efficient packers, whose service I also happily used this time. Worth every penny from these professionals. I always recommend Firemen Moving for a positive experience. read more

I've used three different moving companies on different moves and never been super impressed with any of them. Which is a bummer because the person who cane from Fireman moving to look at our home was so nice and I was excited to use them! We were told they would get to our house at 6am to start loading and have us out in a couple hours. It was after 8am when they finally got there and instead of the 8 guys we were promised there were only 5. It took them almost 5 hours and they had to go find a second truck when we were told we would only need one. The first truck left without us and got to our home without us there and started unloading without us there. Only three guys helped us unload and it took them 3 hours. It was really late when we got the kids in bed that night and everyone was exhausted. Luckily none of our furniture was super broken but we did had some dents and scratches on things I can't afford to replace or fix. I just wish movers would treat us with as much respect and kindness and they would want to be treated. read more

They charged me twice the estimate was and refused to explain how the charges went from two to three men moving me. The boys and I mean barely past 18 movers spent time talking to their girl friend, took a lunch break (which apparently didn't matter when tabulating my bill) and generally were not efficient with my time. read more

The guys in the trucks were great, but the company is the most unethical company I have ever seen. They cost me over $5,000 in damages and just didn't care. My goods were stored at their "warehouse" which from the filth and stench, I believe to be a goat barn. They then loaded my stuff back up a week later and moved it to another state. I believe the warehouse is where most of the damage occurred but they refused to show pictures or security video of the warehouse. I would take them to court over it, but with KY laws, I have to do everything down their in Warren county. My suggestion is to avoid them and let your friends know. I have several dozen pictures and emails. They will claim you agreed to the BS insurance of like 60 cents a pound. This doesn't give them the legal right to trash your stuff. They still are legally obligated to due care which is where they are legally bound. Their own crew, on delivery even said they destroyed all our stuff. Disgusting company. read more

The Firemen Moving Company moved everything from my three bedroom home from Bowling Green to Frankfort. The workers were friendly and handled my belongings with care. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company that will treat you and your things with respect and care. read more

Be sure to read the "fine print". We had an outdoor Frontgate table valued at over $3500 that was over stacked by the movers causing the legs to break on the table. The Firemen Moving Company gave us $180 for the damage which may cover the delivery and assembly of a new table. They did keep the damaged table because the movers stated it would be replaced. When we called they had "tried to have it repaired by several people." When we were told our refund would be minimal we requested to have the table returned, they returned it onto our concrete driveway table top down with concrete scrapes all over it.
