Having moved from Maryland to NoVA I sure do miss the Arundel Mills Bass Pro Shops. And there isn't…read morea Bass Pro remotely close to me in NoVA (closest is the MD location) so I have to settle for Cabela's. Let's start with the good: I love that I can sell guns here and I've sold one before and felt I got a fair price. The guys behind the firearms counter are good an knowledgeable but depending on what time you go you could be waiting for what feels like an eternity to get served. This location is also rather small? Or maybe it's just because the inventory is a bit underwhelming for me, especially in the archery department. Idk every time I've been to Cabela's it feels like they don't have what I need unless I get it shipped. Yet when I've gone to Bass Pro in MD they always had what they need. Also there's been two instances where I ordered something online and despite this location having plenty in stock I've had to wait over 6 days for them to tell me my order was ready for pickup. At the Arundel Mills Bass Pro Shop if something was already in the store inventory and I ordered it in the morning itneluld be ready within 3-5 hours.

Stanley galore everywhere..I mean, geeeez, an entire wall plus additional shelves. Then there were the new trending brands as well as the OGs such as Yeti. I definitely skipped all of these trending brands and went for one that actually looked nice and served the purpose. They do maintain the organization of the items pretty well, so kudos to that. The staff on the floor were nice in guiding me to the sections with the tumblers. I want to give more stars, but the checkout line was soooo slow. One customer decided she wanted to go back to the floor and grab another item. Instead of letting me go ahead or taking me on another register or calling another employee, the employee just had me stand there waiting....I literally had one item. There is plenty of parking available in front of the store.

He checked all the boxes (something I could either mail or carry in a suit case, non-breakable, etc.) and I felt great with the purchase and confident the family member would love everything - and he did! Hank, you are the real deal, greatly appreciated, and the reason why I will continue being a Sport Nation customer.

This location has a bigger clearance section than the other locations. But the XL+ clearance items are usually sold out. They have sanitizer and the employees were wearing masks properly. Which is a plus during C-19. Also the store had good ventilation and the AC was on which is another plus. The cashier and manager were both very friendly, Highly professional & social. The general crowd is middle class really. Mainly Police, Fire & Military customers. The noise level was normal for a retail store. Mainly adults shopping. No kids really. It's located inside a shopping center so parking is not really a issue. I was asked to pay via Credit Card. So unsure if they aren't taking cash permanently or it was just temporary for that day. I would call before going. Overall A++, Just wish they had more XL+ clearance items. Love 5.11

I arrived this evening at 635pm and the doors were locked. The sign on the door stated the store closed at 7pm. There was a female outside who told me she was yelled out of the store. As we were leaving the last customer walked out of the store and stated that the employee was very rude and wanted the customer out of the store ASAP. I looked online and found that Sterling Soccer was open until 8pm. The family drove over there and we found a pair of new boots. The employees there were awesome even though they were super busy. I have to thank the terrible employee at the Soccer Post because of his rudeness I found a better store to get soccer gear. The lack of customer service can just kill your business. I will continue to go to Dogfish but NOT the Soccer Post.
