Been on my list to try forever! Really nice chill place. Bar seating, couches, tables and chairs and window bar which would be nice in the spring . Kinda a market and bar , they sell wine and beer and snacks. Also a menu to order off. Pizzas, sandwiches and snacks. We just had drinks. They have a nice cocktail list and some specials everyday. Beer on tap and Prosecco on tap! $4 mimosas on Sunday ! Bar tender runs the show and served us well. Great casual place to meet people or just get a drink. Glad I finally checked it out.

Stopped by real quick to buy a bottle of wine. We were looking for a bottle of prosecco, but unfortunately, they did not have any. My friend ended up getting a sour beer. I saw they sold boxes of whiteclaw's, and I just wanted one, but they were so polite and got one for me from one of the boxes, which I truly appreciated. Ambiance was everything here. It was around 8 p.m., and it was super calm. Plans and chic decor everywhere. They have a bar with seating as well as a couple of lounge chairs and seating outside. Def recommend if you are in the area.

Exchange at 36th is such a cute and cozy setting with a chill vibe. Great location and different seating options. The bartenders were amazing and suggested some great options. Bacon & ranch tots were delish 9/10. Tried orange wine for the first time and it was good. It's right in between dry and sweet. The set up of the bar and shop is great. You can come in to grab and go or sit & relax.

The exchange is a great spot for Sunday brunch! They start serving food at 12, but if you arrive a little bit early coffee and mimosas are available. They do mimosa flights and have a ton of options including: pear, pineapple, orange, peach, strawberry, mango and more. My personal favorites are strawberry and mango. Parking is behind the building and it is best to come through on n Davidson street. They usually have spots available, but if not street parking can also be found close by. We tried a couple items on the menu and all were delicious!! Their pancakes are sweet and have a great flavor with a ton of butter too. The spam sliders were very yummy and my first time trying spam. The breakfast burrito is also great and it is toasted on both sides before it's served. Strongly recommend!!

A group of us walked by this place one day and just had to stop by it was so cute! My friend and I ordered the espresso martinis and they were one of the best I've had before. The bartender was also super helpful when helping our other friends pick out a drink to order. We grabbed a few snacks from the shop and enjoyed our lil stop by.

My friend & I had a fabulous time painting 2 of our favorite artists hosted by @iv_logan at @theexchangeclt! He hosts a "paint your artist sip n paint" every other Monday @7pm for $40 (glass of wine included). WHEN you go, make sure you have #Six make you one of his wonderful sangrias & the pork bbq nachos. Babyyyyy, both are delicious! Good vibes, friendly people, great food & drinks and reasonable prices! Can't wait to go back

Stopped here on a rainy weekend and was pleasantly surprised at what we found tucked away in this corner of NoDa. I got a peach cocktail that was delicious and after that switched to beer on tap. I would definitely come back here for drinks again as the vibe lends itself to hanging out, drink in hand. We ordered the loaded tots, a wrap, and Italian sandwich and all were delicious. The bartenders were super nice and attentive and you can tell they definitely have their regulars, but make everyone feel welcome.

Espresso martinis or their version of it. So good!! Highly recommend

Good vibes. Stumbled upon this bar one night before a concert up the street. They were having a wine tasting/ appetizer event which was a bit awkward walking into but went to bar and bartender told us we can still order through him and was very helpful with suggestions. Excellent customer service. Found a cozy spot on couch and enjoyed cocktails and some food. Caesar salad wrap was excellent. Very flavorful and delicious. Definitely will return when in NoDa.

The exchange is kinda like a sandwich shop/small market with a bar. I've been numerous times and have enjoyed my experience every time. There specialty cocktails are great and they do offer food. Mitchell is the bar tender that my boyfriend and I have made friends with. He is extremely friendly and helpful! We've started going on Sunday for their mimosa flights but the margaritas are also wonderful. A great place to stop into for food or a drink whether at night or in the daytime.

I stopped by for lunch today. I had been by here before back in 2021 before I moved to Charlotte. I only got drinks that time and didn't realize they served food. Today makes me wish I knew about the food before. I got the chicken Caesar wrap and the buffalo chicken sliders. Both were delicious. The wrap was pressed which made for a nice crisp and contained just the right amount of dressing for my liking. The buffalo chicken sliders (3) were dripping and messy just as they needed to be. I surprisingly loved the Queen Charlotte Blue Cheese Pimento Cheese since growing up I never ate/liked pimento cheese. It wasn't crowded at all which made it perfect for me to work while waiting on my food. The TV was on sports without sound while soft music played. There is also outside seating which seems like it would be nice.

Basically peanut butter and cranberry. Get this is if you feeling nutty.

It was a Friday night two weeks before Christmas, but it was only 5:45pm so I feel like we got lucky. We were able to walk in and be seated right away. We ordered cocktails and embraced the tapas menu, ordering too many things to sample and share. We sadly had to leave some of it behind. Our waitress was a sweetheart and though the restaurant space was big and open, the warm wood and exposed brick inside made it feel welcoming and cozy. There was enough room between tables that we didn't feel crammed in and the table was big enough to hold all the delicious goodness. I felt like two top tables can sometimes barely hold your water glass and bread plate. We head to Charlotte pretty regularly for various things, and I would like to bring our teenage boys back sometime. I think they would really like the menu and style of the restaurant. Nice enough for a quick date night before and event, but casual enough that I feel like we could bring the teens and not have to "dress up".

I do think the interior sometimes feels a bit too "open-concept," if you know what I mean... ...but who cares?! The food is great! Of the stuff that stays on the menu, I really like: the chicken sandwich, the tandoori carrots, the mussels, and the pierogis. As for the current menu: I really like the watermelon caprese salad, scallops, and curry chicken tacos.

The tater tots and sweet potato gnocchi were absolutely incredible, and honestly, every dish we tried was memorable. The Brussels sprouts and mac and cheese are also standouts. If you're going with a group, sharing plates is definitely the move so you can try a little bit of everything. And if it's your first time visiting, the fried chicken is a must. To finish, get the banana pudding. Trust me. Our server, Sebastian (we've had him twice now), was amazing both times.. attentive, personable, and always on top of anything we needed. The atmosphere ties it all together: dim lighting, cozy vibes, and the perfect spot to settle in for elevated comfort food. A charlotte staple

We also shared green beans and Brussel sprouts . the green beans were charred on the outside and undercooked ok the inside. The brussel sprouts were cooked to a crisp and lacked flavor. My boyfriend had the OG chicken sandwich and he couldnt finish/ stomach it, this includes the burned fries that were served with it. The restaurant itself is nice, I don't think their AC was working but its got a cool rustic look. Our server was kind and attentive as well. Maybe they had an off day but this was a pretty big waste of a $60+ meal.

The bar is divey, and you can find very cheap drinks, especially if you go for the daily specials. The bartenders are nice - beware that they do keep your card if you keep your tab open - and seem to know the regulars. In addition to monthly bingo, they seem to host drag events, have video games and board games available to play, as well as several TVs. Plus, dogs can go inside and out. The bar does not serve food, though usually there is a vendor there. Looking forward to next month!

There is no food but they have cheap drinks, old school games, a spacious patio, and they host cool events like bingo night. Their motto is "Mind your P's and Q's" which I found amusing. I have only been in a few times so I can comment on if their patrons typically adhere to this code of conduct! Overall I think it is worth checking out if you've never been and maybe it will grab you and you will want to become a regular. Me personally it's a little out of the way to become a regular haunt located in between Plaza and NoDa but not walking distance from either. Also it's not that the service was ever unfriendly but I just didn't feel like it was my vibe. Still a cool bar though and I can see why other enjoy it.
