This is the only Lagree studio in the Orange area. Instructors: ALL great! Ricardo, Morgan and Sara are amazing. I find that Sara is the most challenging but I love it. After one of her classes, I guarantee you'll be sore AF for awhile no matter how long you've been taking lagree classes. Parking: It's a hit or miss. It's a small parking lot that's shared with other businesses in that building. Half the time I find myself parking across the street and running to class. Machines: They teach on M2 machines. Spin classes: I wouldn't come here for spin. They're better at teaching lagree. read more

COVID Code is not being followed here. If you know the basics of Palates, you can keep from getting hurt, but the instructors are not trained on that aspect of body alignment. You can do harm to your body not knowing these techniques Owner takes reviews off this site if they show only one star even if it's telling the truth about your experience. Parking is a nightmare here. Don't be late to class or you'll get locked out. No matter the reason for being late. This studio is subpar. You'd be better off at the little Yoga place next store. I stumbled across this place by searching Pilates online and this was the first thing that came up. The environment here is so infectious with positive energy. The staff has been really supportive and welcoming during all my sessions. And have been very helpful in showing me alternative methods to modify movements and ensuring my safety since I'm currently with child. I have a love/hate relationship with this place. Love the class and the workout 5 star for the workout .. hate the customer service- 1 star. When i sign up for unlimited .. I assumed it was like Orangetheory where you pay one fee for as many classes as you want even if I wanted to take 5 classes a day I could as unlimited as I want. That's what I thought it was going to be. But here you can only take one class a day. So your unlimited is technically limited to "30/31" classes a month pretty much. That is false advertising. If you cancel a membership its a penalty of $200 so you're stuck .. so obviously when a class is canceled for more than two days I expect good customer service for my classes to be made up to me especially since I don't have the opportunity to take 30 classes a month due to my work schedule. But no make up classes offered even though classes are cancelled on their end. When I was on a limited membership with ten classes a month. I didn't feel good one class and left in ten minutes and wanted to make it up. They said no. Orangetheory/ cycle bar/ Soulcycle has had more grace in situations like these. Parking is a DISASTER Here are 2 positives You're waitlisted a LOT due to the limited number of machines and they were gracious enough to change my membership to 10 classes a month from the limited "unlimited" membership Better have a good excuse to get your late fee charge waived .. I got mine waived when my dog was hospitalized Not going back after my membership expires because in my heart the negative out weighs the positive. read more

I love Bare Fitness OC! I have been going here for a little while now and fall more and more in love with it. The classes are so fun and they recently made the classes 50 minutes long. It is a great private studio where the instructors care about you and the people who go are very nice as well. The instructors are also awesome! BARE'd from this studio!!! I have been a customer with this studio since it was Pilates Plus Cycle, years ago. I was a loyal and committed client and attended classes regularly. So how does this lead to my one star review?? 1) Hair constantly on the floor! The studio does not get swept after every class. More importantly, the clients are left to wipe down the machines to which a thorough job is rarely done. NO improvements were made despite informing the instructor (twice) and finally the owner when to my disgust I noticed a huge wad of hair stuck to my sock. I offered to buy a swifter and sweep after classes myself... NO CHANGE!!  In addition, Cobwebs frequently hung for days from the lights! 2) The new location is dark, narrow and simply...unattractive!! I turned a blind eye when the studio relocated because I knew Amanda would continue to stay the course and offer her AMAZING workouts! 3) Amanda is no longer an instructor as of late December ???? ‍ She rocked and was by far was the best instructor there!!! You never lost interest because her moves were never repetitive!!! Difficult to understand why she was pushed out when her classes were ALWAYS full and waitlisted. 4) The cycle classes were unexpectedly phased off the schedule in December. To the surprise and disappointment of the regulars AND the instructor, the cycle classes were permanently eliminated in January. ZERO prior communication nor consideration was given to us 5am regulars!!! 5) A 'bait a switch' took place after clients either renewed their long term memberships or took advantage of the Black Friday deals. Shortly thereafter they learned the cycle classes were not going to be offered or Amanda was let go. 6) I received a phone call and was told I was "no longer allowed" to come back to the studio for simply sending a text requesting termination of my membership as I couldn't continue to support an establishment that adopted these poor business practices. I did not destroy property nor steal anything that warranted my permanent removal. During the same conversation, Evelyn refused to follow through on the purchase of a bike I had already placed a deposit on. I was already on my way out so it all worked out in the end. This amateur behavior and lack of customer service sealed the deal! No client should ever have to deal with a vindictive owner!! 7) As if the above aforementioned issues were not enough, video cameras were installed without asking clients to sign a consent or grant permission to use for advertisement purposes. At no time where we given a heads up nor made aware that we were going to be recorded every time we entered a class!! 8) Recently, Evelyn sent me a text asking me to stop "harassing her"?? I have not communicated with her since parting ways in November. I was caught off guard and confused by her aggression. As someone who has been long standing in the fitness industry, I am very well aware of the importance of 'Customer Service'. Show good faith by simply keeping your establishment clean, treat your clients with kindness, be humble and there will be no need to offer your clients a free class to write a positive review on Yelp. When a client sincerely comes to you with concerns, listen and assure them you will do your best to rectify the issue(s) at hand. Rushing to kick them out is rarely justified and ultimately cause for a poor review. So...Be aware.... if you have concerns and bring them up to the owners, do so at your own discretion! You too could be BARE'd for life! read more

Used to love going to this place until I got very sick with Epstein Barr Virus and also got in to a car accident which prohibited me to do any strenuous exercise. I already purchased my classes prior and asked if I could extend the expiration date which they refused. Wish they could show more sympathy. If you do pilates you know these classes are not cheap!! The worst customer service I have ever experienced.I did the Pilate and the cycle class for at least year. Amanda is amazing. However I purchased 6 months package after few classes I had 2 knee surgery witch requires me to be off my foot for 3 months. Evelyn the owner promised me she will extend the expiration date. When I tried to go back she completely denied the conversation and the text message. I screen shot the text message and send it to her of course she stopped responding and her boyfriend/new partner responded back and did not honor it. So I sign up again just because I need 5 am class.Well this time they took me off the class twice after being confirmed and without informing me. I showed Amanda the instructor and Evelyn the text confirmation her respond was its glitch in the system. YEAH RIGHT This time I called American express and dispute the charges to get my money back. Couple weeks later they did the same to friend of mine and they removed their bikes without informing their customers who paid for those classes. What rip off. read more

I used to do Pilates reformer back in Claremont and I loved the intensity! As always though, you always want something more and that's when I found bare fitness that was not too far of a drive for me to try out and make it part of my morning. The instructors all have their own styles, so it's great knowing that each class will be different and FEEL different! I told my friend to try it out and even got her into coming too! It can be intimidating at first to learn all the different moves but you'll see that you learn to engage your muscles more with the more classes you come to. First time taking pilates on a transformer and it was excellent! I didn't know a 50 minute class could kick my ass that badly. I do lunges almost everyday, but lunges on a transformer is a whole 'nother BEAST. The next day, I was sore in places I am not usually sore, like my inner thighs, top obliques, BOTTOM obliques and side/bottom lats. I tried the 8am class with Amanda on a Saturday with 2 other friends. Amanda was friendly, clear and helpful. She kept an eye on everyone in the class and gave great examples and motivated us the whole way. The only downside is that it's pretty pricey for such a short time, so I probably would only come here maybe once a month and not on a weekly basis. read more

They definitely know what they are doing and have a pretty good amount of classes available to book throughout the day. I can't tell you how amazing the work out is! You definitely feel the burn and discover muscles you didn't even know you had. I love the routine and special attention you get from the instructors. The classes and instructors are great! Jacinthe's classes especially are amazing. She really pays attention to individuals in the class and would correct your form. Enter the Dungeon! I love this place! I have been working out for many years and thought I had "done it all" until I attended a class at Lagree Dungeon. This is THE best workout I've ever had. And the most unique. There is seriously nothing like it. I climbed onto to a piece of equipment that looked similar to a Pilates reformer but once we began our workout I realized that's where the similarity ended. Lagree is definitely not Pilates- and it is WAY better. I love every one of their instructors (I call them Dungeon Masters...lol) because while they are super friendly, helpful and encouraging, they will give you one heck of a workout. If you are serious about getting in the best shape of your life, this is the place for you. I have been going 2-3 times per week for 6 months now and the workout routine has been different every single time. So you'll never get bored and their music mixes are the best I've ever worked out to. So try them out and I'll bet you'll keep coming back too! read more

With weight lifting usually being the bulk of my exercise routine, this really challenged my muscles. More slow compound movements. Really great instructor who was patient and made sure everyone had the right form. Will be incorporating this into my weekly regimen. So this was my first time taking a Pilates class and I'm so glad I chose to go to Bare Fitness OC! The studio was easy to find, there was plenty of parking available, the equipment was clean and I loved how upon arrival we were greeted and shown how to work the machine. I took my first class here, it was great. I booked through class pass. I am no means familiar with pilates, it has been at least 2 years since I took a reformer class. The instructor (co-owner) was so kind an patient while pushing the others and helping me. The workout itself was challenging. I took many breaks. I started going to this studio over three months ago when it was called Pilates Plus Cycle. It is now owned by Evelyn who is also an instructor AND I STILL LOVE IT!! I have never been able to stick to workouts after three months but this place is great!! All the Instructor are Awesome! Lynn is my #goals and her Pilates classes are amazing!! She really focuses on making sure your form is correct. Evelyn is super friendly and is always available to answer questions. Melissa and Eric who teach Spin are great too, their class is always energetic and fun! Honestly it doesn't matter which instructor you have you can't go wrong. My favorite part about this studio is that the Instructor make an effort to get to know you and give you advice. I 100% RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! If you haven't tried it TRY IT. read more
