Silly me, I thought that walking to the Guinness Storehouse was a good idea. And I did it, but whatever calories I burned off by walking, I gained back with the delicious cookies here. The Dublin Cookie Company is on a high street with lots of chain shopping options. Their simple font and "We sell cookies" in the window is really what drew me in. And its' a simple enough concept. Great cookies sold individually or with discounts on larger quantities with espresso drinks and hot tea. Generally underwhelming considering the hype this place had gotten prior to opening. Overpriced coffee considering the satisfactory alternatives available in cafes in the vicinity, and my coffee actually tasted burnt. I would have said this to the server had she not made a very rude and unnecessary comment about my appearance which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. They have no gluten free options and no vegan options unfortunately, which I found disappointing considering all they supply is cookies. I won't be returning based on the poor customer service and lack of value for money. read more

Super sweet, modern bakery centered around cookies. Obviously I had to stop in. It was a hot day and I was coming from the Guinness Storehouse (not too far away!) so I ordered an iced latte before anything else. It was really good! I also ordered a few sugary cookies, which were really tasty. They were a normal size and semi-soft. It was clear they were baked fresh, which is always a positive when talking about bakeries, ya know. I'd recommend stopping in if you're walking by and want some good cookies! read more

I was a bit spurious when I heard that a Cookie company selling Cookies and milk was opening on Thomas Street. A pack of wild children once told us that our dog was 'the ugliest dog they had ever seen' whilst freewheeling bravely through the favelas of this old time Dubschool neighbourhood. I had visions of these Sons and Daughters of Anarchy terrorising the kind and gentle staff and nicking biscuits until the shutters dropped for the final time if im honest. Since its been here for a while my imagination may have been overreaching here....just a little. The coffee is very nice, the cookies could be said to be small but they are infact the correct size and you can buy 1 for €1 or 3 for €2.50. You can buy 33 for €25 or 60 for €45 if you have just been jilted by your lover and need to carb console yourself through a rough weekend! They also do a selection of Milks for €2 to €2.50 flavours include Coffee, Chocolate, almond with honey and vanilla or regular plain moo juice. The bottles they come in are pretty nice and they come with a straw that looks like it was plucked straight from a red and white barbershop pole. This alone gets brownie points from me, even though there are no brownies in sight the cookies are da bomb! The place is quite relaxing to sit it and sip n' chew. They do a flourless Macaroon which is totally amazing. They even do a carrot cake sandwich type cookie. The staff are very friendly - hopefully their business goes from strength to strength because its a lovely little set up they have going here. As for the dog he has recovered well from his experience of being judged solely on his looks, as with most things its whats on the inside that counts so dont be put off by the fact that you may have to stroll by a couple of scaldies to come to the Dublin Cookie Co, once you are inside its pure mindfulness. read more

Wait whaaaat, a café fully dedicated to cookies? That's very niche, me thinks. How many cookies can an average person eat? Well, turns out, quite a lot if they are as good as the ones you get here. My favourite has to be the cookie sandwich which is basically two cookies filled with a frosting type of thing. I had the carrot cake cookie sandwich the other day and it was delish. Not too sweet, the perfect crunch and nice filling. Add a coffee and you have a great little afternoon treat. The only downside is the price: 1 Euro for 1 cookie or 2.50Euro for a cookie sandwich. They aren't overly big so I think that's a bit pricey but on the other hand it is cheaper than a muffin or a piece of cake anywhere else. The best deal is to get 200cookies for 146Euro which means you have enough money left to join the gym. read more

I was so excited to hear about a cookie specialised shop in my neighbourhood. And I decide to go there after a bad sleep at night, hoping to find something satisfy my soul, but I was not that satisfied. The interior of the shop is cozy, there are wood benches that you can sit and enjoy your snack. For the cookies, they are the type of thin, crunchy ones, I had the salted caramel cookie (€1) which tastes nice. But I think they can make it more attractive to people. For drink, I got a bottle of milk for €2.5. I wouldn't pay that for just milk next time, perhaps milk with flavors or coffee will worth more the price. read more

I came here recently with a friend for a coffee and a sweet treat on a Sunday afternoon with a friend. I had been here when it first opened and had been disappointed with the size of the cookies. I'm thrilled to rediscover their new menu and new look! They offer grilled cheese along with an impressive selection of cookies and cookie themed deserts! I had the cookie ice cream sandwich with a tea and my friend had the grilled cheese with coffee, both utterly decadent and delicious and great value for money. We chatted and people watched for over an hour, its a great vantage spot on Thomas St to boot. The staff were so lovely too, and service was very efficient with tourists popping in and out to grab coffee and a snack. Glad to see its still here and going strong! read more

Great to see more and more eateries like this opening up around the D8 area. I've always left some room (you know that separate stomach for sweet things?) for a Dublin Cookie Company treat when out at the food markets, so I'm LOVING the fact that I can now stroll along here at any stage and go get my fix. Without a doubt my favourite versions are the cookie sandwiches - two cake type cookies sandwiched together with a gooorgeous creamy filling inside. They also do flavoured milk which is lovely. Aside from all this, the ladies themselves are gems, and the bright and airy space is welcoming and relaxing. Total winner. read more

We parked illegally up the street to run into this establishment a half hour before they closed, on our way out of downtown to our B&B in the country. It was our last day in the country and we realized we had not had a lot of desserts and wanted something local and delicious to go out on. We were so glad we stopped! We got the 6 cookie deal and were trying to decide which ones we wanted. Another customer came in and ran in front of us to order, and the employee went out of their way to address we were first. We thanked him and allowed the rude customer to order since clearly they needed to get out faster. We also bought a glass of their homemade chocolate cookie milk and it paired perfectly. If we're ever back we will gladly stop in again to indulge!! read more

Got these delivered by Delivero. Had 3 types of cookie sandwiches. I would not call them cookie as they are too on the soft cake-y side. They had no crunch at all . However that is my personal opinion as you might like soft cookies! On the other hand flavor profile is spot on. Their milk is so yummy i wanted more. Soo this place was marginally underwhelming in a lot of respects, however the quality of the coffee and food was high and the service was pleasant. The decor is the industrial-like setting that seems to have taken hold on the Dublin cafe scene. The kitchen is open, located directly behind the Front of House, which I liked, however it made the place look a little bit untidy. The selection of treats available was vast, and the coffee was very good. Value for money however, not so much. It was 4.50 for a mocha coffee and a very small salted caramel and pecan cookie, which, even with the return of some aspects of the Celtic tiger, is still just too expensive in my opinion. The cookie itself was delicious, but it really was very small. There is limited seating available at the front of the shop, despite there being room for more substantial furniture. Overall, nice food, but it'll have to be a great day for me to go again. read more

I walked by this cute little cafe and went in naively thinking I was only going to grab coffee. Six cookies later it was clear that was not the case. The cookies here are amazing, I was especially fond of the chocolate chip. The more you buy, the cheaper the cookies become.
