Attractive bartenders. Wings are bad and bathrooms in need of upgrade. Crowd was good.

This place was awful. I went on a Monday night to watch the first half of MNF. The one star comes from the attentive bar tender. However my food took over 35 minutes to come out and then it didn't all come out right. I told them to just box the wings up so I could go and cancel the part they got wrong. When I got home the wings were rubber, greasy, and under cooked. There was 9 people in the bar as well and the music was so loud the bartender would ask me to repeat myself each time I ordered a beer or my food. TURN THE DAMN MUSIC DOWN. I wish I would have looked at the 6 months of poor reviews before I went here. This isn't a place you want to go. read more

We had a restaurant.com coupon so thought we would try it. Sat at the bar took awhile to even get a look our way. Servers were flirting and drinking shots with customers. I asked for a menu and it was disgusting, dirty and greasy like it had never been washed. Can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. Earlier I mentioned that management has changed, and now so has the bar staff. And they brought their old customers with them, which makes for a somewhat hilarious mismatch with the present regulars and the renovated higher-class appearance and beer list of the bar. Rednecks in Dublin? Oh yeah... good luck with that; the craft taps aren't going to get much action now. -1 star, Dub Pub is basically back to where it used to be. read more

I have bee stopping at the Dub Pub the past few months. I mostly stop on Monday Wednesday or Friday. The service is great with a a staff that offer a pleasurable viewing experience. The food is reasonable "Bar Food' not a Cameron Mitchell Restaurant and I am Ok with that. The beer, drinks and conversation is exactly what I am looking for after some challenging days. Enjoy the place and have some fun. read more

I visited this establishment on 3/27/15....unfortunately the experience was not the greatest. Three bartenders on, and only about 30 people in the bar, and they were not able to adequately serve the patrons. The positive, the prices are cheap. I would try and frequent other bars before dropping in the Dub Pub. read more

Worst bar owner I have ever met. Sloppy drunk behind the bar and ran 8 people out willing to spend money in her empty bar. Owner flipped out for nothing? Went to bar down the street (yogi's) and had a great time. Bartenders there were friendly and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and don't bother stopping by. ... Live nearby, used to go in it a long time ago when it was still the office lounge. Bud ruined it, new owners seem to be doing a lot better but the crowd still the same as when Bud owned it. I go in about twice a year, just to see if anything has changed much. I do believe you don't need to order a bucket to get more than one beer now. (used to be when Bud owned it if you weren't a "regular" you'd never get a 2nd drink). Plaza it's in is way crowded with 7 food/drink places parking can be a challenge (though I could walk there). Plaza is being redone (fascia) and even more parking issues. They need to change the name of the place and get rid of the stigma it earned whilst Bud owned it and hopefully change the clientèle. read more

Just moved into the area and wanted to check out a nice local place and my roommate suggested the dub pub. First thing I did notice is that not a single lady was at the bar with the exception of the bar maids. Talking to a group of people also in town for work and went to the jukebox to play some songs and turned around and everyone had a shot including two of the bartenders. I cheers everyone as always. Little did I know that all of the shots were on me...I guess I'm just glad they at least gave me one! Anyways, after leaving the bar and later checking my statements I notice another miscellaneous charge for $14...maybe they just assumed I had everyone around covered. Rather than complain about $14 and try to go through a long, arduous process about unauthorized transactions, I thought I'd just take the time to warn people to steer clear of this place. My first bar moving to the area gave me a very bad perception about things to come but I know there's plenty of other friendly and respectable places in the area. I will never spend a cent here again. read more

literally hell on earth. "bumpin" music is the first reason you want to run out of the dub pub. than it gets worse...the servers are clueless to normal bar procedures, e.g...dont take my empty from the rail without offering me another (there are other bar sins as well). when you walk in around the separation wall you encounter numerous high tables and the rectanglular bar. there are plenty of bar stools and hdtvs, so sit anywhere for a view of the game. there is also a side room with the dj booth and checkered floor. overall, this bar sucks, but sadly it's about par for the area. dublin is hard to figure out., yogis, on the rocks, dub pub. they're all filled with the same basic crowd (ballcap douchbags and loud-for-attention girls). google "classic pizza dublin oh". the result (tuttle crossing), now that's a decent bar. read more

I had a really good rocking time at the Dub Pub last weekend. Don't know what those other fools are talking about. The staff was wonderful and everyone had an awesome time!!!! Keep up the great service my friends and I will be back again really soon!!!!! read more

ficking awesome bar. been going after i came back from florida and i love it. Ladies are very cute and they communicate well with a customer. I would say I will go with my friends and girl friend on Ladies night. Why because they have a great DJ and awesome dance floor. read more

This used to be our favorite after work hangout for many years. We moved away, but would always stop in when back in town. Despite what I had heard since we left, I came back anyway. Well this past week we invited over 25 of our close friends to join us. I started a tab for my husband and I only. We drank from 430-10pm, including dinner. (food was good FYI) When our tab came, several drinks that didn't belong to us were charged. A few other friends also had the same thing happen. When disputing the tab, they seemed to have a "system" error that wouldn't allow them to void it and ring in the right items. Instead I was charged for well above my drinks and only refunded $12 in cash even tho the original receipt was lower. If you ask me, they are a bunch of sharks and you better keep a detailed list of what you drink the next time you visit this place! Such a shame! read more

Not a fun place to hang out at all. The girls that work there are nice and all but thats the only girls you will see in here, Place was full of men. It was a Friday night around 1130 and i counted around 15 people (Men). I tried to watch a basketball game and nobody knew anything about the tv's. As far as the tv goes there really is not a good place to watch unless you are in the back room in front of big screen. Had very poor service and the music was lousy. Also not a very good smell either, Whomever is running that place needs to find a new job cause they are doing a lousy job. I won't be back. Had alot more fun across the street at Yogis which is a sports bar. Take notes little Dub Pub because you are settting up for failure. read more

I went to the bar with a buddy. My friend wanted to buy a shot for us two and the bartender. The bartender placed a few shots in front of us throughout the night without us asking for them. At the end of the night I had 8 shots on my tab. I didn't order any of them. The bartender went and got the manager. He asked if I took the shots. I said yes, a few, and I would be willing to pay for a couple. But not 8! He said he wasn't eating the cost. I told him it was his bartender who kept taking the shots. The manager ended up making me leave even though I wasn't making a scene. This place is terrible and obviously the manager doesn't know a thing about customer service. I'll never go to this bar again. read more
