Tommy O'Bryan's is an Irish bar. It's hard to say much else positive about it. The service is…read morefucking terrible. It has a happy hour at least. They tend to ignore you if you aren't a regular. I like to go to Irish bars. It's usually a fun and festive time. They are good for great drinks and whiskey. It's not the case here. There is a festival the bar holds each year. It's not as cool as it sounds. There's mostly just a bunch of regulars here all the time. It has cocktails just like any bar. They have some drink specials but not much else that sounds good. It also sells food but I have never seen anyone eat. The food is mostly greasy artery clogging shit. If you're in the area you may want to check out Tommy O'Bryan's. It's convenient for me when coming from work and feeling like knocking back a few. There wouldn't be any other reason for me to make a visit.

The coleslaw was not too creamy and just had the right amount of vinegar. Black Garlic Chicken was the better of the two. It was full of umami flavor with a juicy patty. The fries were thick and crispy. The seasoning on them put it over the top. Not that I live super far from this restaurant, but for the fries to stay crispy speaks volumes. Can't wait to come dine in at Atlas Tavern.

They unblocked all there music on TouchTunes during black history month then bocked it again because to many black people were playing music and coming in. The restrictions are more than they were in the past. It would be understandable if they were just worried about explicit music, but rasist cussing songs can be played in other genres of music. The manager just thinks black people are a problem. The other bars by the main owner are unblocked. The parking lot is a little strange- quite a bit of broken glass scattered around and a full sized dumpster right in front of the entrance. But I suppose this adds to the dive bar vibe. The bar staff were attentive and helpful and we each had one drink before continuing on to the next spot. I think that this is a nice, almost hidden, spot off the main street to stop in for a drink and recharge from the craziness of some of the other bars. The ceiling is also really fun and has a lot of beer taps mounted on it.
