It was once again a late date night with the hub bub, but it is to be expected with his own kitchen…read moreschedule. After a round of bar BINGO and a couple of pool games we came to EbeneeZer's for dinner. It was a little late so the crowd was minimal and there was live music. We sat at the bar and we got served right away by the bartender with the VERY good hair! She was so cool and made good drinks. Of course I was looking for fried pickles and found them. I initially ordered the grilled salmon but they were out of stock and ordered the Big Bob's fish and chips as runner up. The hub bub got the hot beef sandwich (he is now turned into a ND boy lol). While waiting for the food, we listened to the gentleman singer (who can SING btw) and the hub bub requested my song, Seminole Wind. Now review time, the fried pickles are FIRE!! I love how they are the actual spears and they had a nice lil' kick to them. Right now, these fried pickles are neck and neck with Ironhorse Kitchen fried pickles. I really like fish and chips (ever since Skippers) and I was glad the salmon was out of stock in the end because I loved my dinner. The fried cod was perfectly breaded and had a fresh taste. Squeeze the lemon on top and be ready to chomp away. Make sure you order the overseas chips, cause I didn't specify and got the American ones instead, I did get the other ones though. Unfortunately the hub bub wasn't feeling his hot beef sandwich but dinner was about me and I loved mine. Recommend: fried pickles, Big Bob's fish and overseas chips.

I came. I saw. I Caesar'd…read more Walked into Ebeneezer's expecting maybe a sandwich and a soft drink. Left feeling like I had just dined in the secret Irish wing of Caesar's Palace. Who knew a humble wrap could make me consider writing poetry? I ordered the Caesar wrap, and it was a romaine thunderstorm wrapped in a tortilla cloud. Perfectly grilled chicken, just the right amount of dressing (not the dreaded "soggy scroll of lettuce" situation), and a flavor combo so powerful it made me briefly question my loyalty to all other wraps. Then came the homemade chips--crispy, golden, probably made with a whisper of Irish magic and a deep fryer that's seen some things. I would trust those chips to hold national secrets. And the Irish fries? Crunchy. Fresh. Dignified. If your average fry is a napkin, these were pressed linen tablecloths. They crunched like they were making a point. I didn't even need ketchup--just a quiet moment of respect. Service? Friendly and fast. Atmosphere? Cozy with just enough pub vibes to make you feel like someone might start singing The Cranberries at any moment. Highly recommend. Will return. And next time, I'm bringing a crown for that Caesar wrap. It deserves to rule.

I LUUUVVV Mexican food and after washing the vehicle and not wanting to go all the way around the construction on broadway, we went north to Don Tapatío. We got seated and served right away. The vibe was relaxing and quiet but we did get there between lunch and dinner time. We ordered appetizers of Sangria and a Berries margarita (recommend). The drinks were very good and not overly sweet or syrupy and because that was the first meal of the day, I got a nice little buzz. I will die for tacos and ordered the street birria tacos that came with green salsa (very good), rice, and beans. I can't remember what my husband ordered cause I wasn't paying attention but when I tried half of it, it was very delicious. The birria meat was sooooo good!!! Very tender with marvelous flavor. The soft shell taco my counterpart ordered had very melt in your mouth shredded chicken. And then I suddenly remembered I had to feed Willard who was waiting in the car. Our service was so nice, our lady server was cool, preattentive with a lovely smile. Recommend: Street Birria Tacos, Berries Margarita and whatever my husband had

Food 2 Service 1…read morePrice 3 But the sangria was decent... New Year's Eve, 630ish as a party of 5. We had called ahead and were advised to come as walk ins as it wasn't very busy. We were seated rather quickly and given menus / asked for drink orders that's where the positives end. The drinks came 20min later (650) & the gal still wasn't ready to take our food order. About 10min after delivering drinks (7), our food order was taken. Now, I know this isn't fast food but it isn't a scratch kitchen either. I've no doubt staff had called in/taken off with it being NYE. Still, it was over half an hour before the food came out (745)- of course drinks were gone by now. One patron asked for water. It came with the rcpt an hour later. We had braced ourselves for the worst after watching 2 other tables return food & seeing who I presume was a manager come offer to make things right for another table, with the patron having refused the food/replacement. I had the chicken wonton tacos app, that was ok. My hubs ordered the fiesta chicken and it was inedible. I'd guess it had been sitting there since before we arrived. The rice was dry & crunchy, yes, rice that you could hear the crunch from. The dish was also at room temperature. We attempted to flag down the server for our bill right at 8pm (we had a 9pm event, which is why I was watching the time). She said she'd be there in a moment then cleared 2 tables and disappeared in the back. At 815, she came back to the table - I just handed over the credit card and advised we were ready to pay. (We had not complained, we didn't send anything back. We really just wanted to go at this point.) She placed the card on the table and said she'd be back with the bill. It was now 830 and we were starting to get pretty annoyed. This is about when she showed up with the bill, laid it next to the card and started to leave. I said "hold up" and handed the card/bill to her stating that we were ready to pay. She hesitantly accepted the bill and card, then went to clear a table, instead of to the till. She stopped by and dropped off the requested water. We were laughing in awe at this point. 855pm... it was 855pm when she brought the card back. It was steady, but not crazy busy. I cannot fathom how it took 630-9pm, 2.5hrs to eat at a fast casual restaurant. One round of drinks & one order of food, which was old & crusty - plus, we were ready to order on arrival. We thought we were going to need to kill time, as we thought we would be too early for our 9pm event with 630pm dining - instead, we were over 15min late to arrive... sigh

THEY AUTOMATICALLY ADD 15% TIP TO YOUR TAB IF YOU HAVE A PARTY OF 6 OR MORE…read more 11/6/25. Food was alright compared to real Asian restaurants. Service was terrible. I had to send my water glass back because the outside was smudged with stuck food. I checked my girlfriend's glass and it was smudged too and said she didn't do that. She said damn so my glass is contaminated and she didn't drink from it from them on. As we got our tabs, someone from the group noticed the gratuity charge so I asked about it. I spoke to the manager stating that we hadn't paid yet and didn't add that. He said it's automatic. I told him we only chose 5 items on the menu, gratuity wasn't on the menu, we didn't choose that. He said for a party of 6 or more it's automatic because some parties leave without tipping the server. I said we had separate tabs, 3 different total, our tab was three people. And he said it doesn't matter you were at the same table. I said we don't want to tip, we weren't going to tip anyway. My water glass was dirty and I had to send it back and the server will tell you that. Someone from our table wanted to order a soup and I gave them mine because the server never showed back up. Our food came out when a few people were halfway done and the restaurant was DEAD. He says but servers only make $10 an hour and it's not fair. I agree it's low but the tip is my choice take it off... he kept saying "but how much are you going to tip the server". I told him I've never seen that charge in any restaurant. He says "every restaurant does it, even Longhorns (as if it makes it any better)" and "we been doing this a long time". He wouldn't agree to take it off and time was dragging on so we left. Ending thoughts: it's like adding a portion of the electricity bill and saying "but we have to keep the restaurant running". Their wage has nothing to do with our tip. You shouldn't push a tip on us without our consent. No hospitality. They had a salad bar and someone mentioned it was all you can eat. That's something he could've said "btw we have a salad bar please help yourselves". He didn't even ask how our food was! He took the order, dropped food off then dropped off tab. Gratuity is for the service the server gives. It's voluntary. It's not a decision for the restaurant to make for you. They should pay them more if that's the case and TRAIN THEM BETTER. I even stacked our plates neatly when we were done as I was a server before. They assume every big party is messy and will tax you for it with 15% tip. Also, nice fake 5 star reviews
