The spicy ranch that they offer isn't anything special, and not that spicy. The Au Jus that came with the sandwich was pretty good. The bread was soft and the meat was juicy. Very good sandwich. I also ordered some spicy/jalapeno cheese curds on my first visit. They werent spicy and the spicy ranch didnt make them hotter... the first visit was food and a few beers. The second visit i went at the night crowd, played some pool, and had quite a few more drinks. I ordered a couple different whiskey and tequila drinks, they didnt taste quite right... but i ended up finishing them anyhow. When it comes to pool, it takes quarters, so youll need to bring some or get change at the bar. It was very loud, and there were several guys there i thought that probably should have been cut off 2-3 drinks prior. So im not sure that security here or monitoring is very top notch. I guess its an okay place to go, if you are bored on the weekend... not sure it would be my go-to spot though.

The wing basket comes with fries and cole slaw but don't get the waffle fries unless you want a $3 up charge! We ate in the bar and it was dimly lit and I didn't see that the waffle fries was an upcharge, I thought it said the wings came with waffle fries and cole slaw but they assured me when charging that the menu said it was extra... 4 Stars for the wings but minus one for the food taking a very long time... 35-40 minutes to come out and it wasn't that busy but I'd still recommend eating there but YMMV. We'll definitely make another drive to Max and try out the Red Light next time. One thing that does bother me is the waitress just announced the bill total without presenting a printed bill for the customer to examine and then pay. I had to ask for a printout and I think that should be a given. $14 wings and a $3 Pepsi turned out to be $21+ because I didn't see the fine print about the waffle fries. They were very good waffle fries but had I known I wouldn't have opted for the extra $3 charge as the regular fries would have been plenty good to have as well.

I'm not a chef but when I make fresh cut fries I soak them in ice water before and that gives a good fry. Now here comes the....downside. Unfortunately the dining chairs are dirty and I was a bit uneasy sitting in one until I switched it for another chair that didn't have cloth seats. Star's (the one woman bartender/server) customer service is what made my experience comfortable. She was so helpful, friendly with a cute smile.
