I'm a small person, so I know what a modest portion looks like--but this was tiny, even by my standards. It felt more appropriate for a 5-year-old than a paying customer. What frustrates me most is when "specialty" shops charge premium prices for products that don't feel special at all. The only thing that seemed exceptional here was the inflated cost. In all honesty, I would have enjoyed a Peanut Buster Parfait from Dairy Queen far more.

When she learned we still had a two-hour drive home, she thoughtfully packed our cheesecake with ice packs and even included extra samples for us to enjoy later.
