Really good food, I ordered a pizza and wow they are amazing and huge. Took a lot home for another day. Our server was so helpful and guided us through her favorites as this was our first visit. First visit for me,other guests had been to the old Front Street.Busy, service was good. Mostly family dining. Food was a solid 3. We had ribeye, steak salad and ribeye with cheese sauce. Wait staff was horrible. She brought me my Caesar salad and it clearly a garden salad. Had the nerve to tell me that was how the Caesar salad was served at their restaurant. Food was okay. Chicken Fried Steak was tough and gravy was unseasoned. read more

2.5 stars if I could. The biggest glaring issue I have with this establishment is that their food is overwhelmingly greasy and mediocre at best. Even the salsa felt like it was greasy and that's just wrong. The drinks were dirty and left an unpleasant taste. Best thing coming out of this establishment was the chips and maybe the steamed vegetables. Ambiance was fantastic and our server was sweet. No complaints here. read more

Great little restaurant! Food was good, prices were excellent and our waitress was friendly and served us well.

They are in their new building and the food is still delicious. We ordered a large pizza this evening. I picked it up in 25 minutes and it was steaming hot! Got it home and we dug in! My wife had the veggie side and I had the pepperoni side! It was so good! I'm sure Tommy had to find more veggies because of the amount that was on her half! My side was covered with pepperoni!! It was wonderful. The staff member taking my money was a very personable, competent employee. She even laughed at one of my stupid jokes! We have been eating at FSJ for almost 30 years. I would venture to say that Front St Junction is probably one of the best restaurants in the four states area. I and my family eat there 3 to 4 times a month. While I know that there are other items on the menu, I always wind up getting the grilled chicken sandwich. It is so good! My wife will either get the mini veggie pizza with pineapple or the grilled Portobello chicken dinner. The wait staff are super friendly and will make sure that your needs are taken care of promptly. They will also serve you a delicious steak, or the best pizza you have ever eaten! One of the best hamburgers in Bowie County is the Brangus burger! If you are too full to eat the delicious homemade pies, you can have a free ice cream cone!Don't take my word for it, come to De Kalb and be prepared for a great meal! Update 9-14-2020 Had another Grilled Chicken Sandwich yesterday and it was delish!! My wife had the mini veggie pizza with pineapple added. She said it was perfect! My sister in law enjoyed the hamburger! I can't think of a place that has a more consistent reputation than this place! read more

Atmosphere is very inviting with friendly staff. Menu had good variety boasting certified angus meat. We selected spaghetti with meat sauce and chicken quesadillas. The quesadillas had a good flavor but I was looking for a bit more. Garlic lovers would love the spaghetti! read more

Pretty average. You'd be better off trying a Mexican place. I ate there in the past when they had a prime rib special and it was good so we either hit a bad day or it has gone downhill. I had the chicken breast w "famous Jack cheese sauce", translate "canned ballpark nacho sauce", burned okra and a potato not quite done. My wife had the seafood platter. At the end of the meal they brought out ice cream cones, "there you go". You roam room to room until you find the soft serve machine. Arrived about 7 p.m., we were seated right away and received great service the entire trip. I had the Angus bacon cheeseburger & fries. They were both served nice and hot, I didn't care for the cheese that was on the burger that just tasted like a piece of American processed or maybe even a slice of Velveeta cheese, a nice slice of tasty cheddar would have been better. The fries were those seasoned coated potatoes like you buy in the frozen food section of the grocery store which I don't prefer but they were still ok. My girl ordered the catfish with onion rings and a salad and she was pleased with everything. Whenever we head to NE TX, The Junction has become a family tradition for us. Their pizza is our favorite in Texas. It is FULL of gooey cheese and loaded with ingredients. My husband is a fan of the Chicken Monterrey and someone in our party always orders a chic salad. The prices are affordable and the diversity of the menu is an unusual bonus for a small town. I want to brag on the pies because they look so good, but we're always too full of pizza to try a piece! read more
