I found Travis through the Yelp "My projects" section where I was trying to find a contractor to help us fix a leak in our guest bedroom. We couldn't find where the leak was coming from and I was trying to get price estimates from different contractors to solve the problem. Most of the contractors said they couldn't give a real estimate till they started doing the full project which seemed understandable. What stood out about Travis though is that he made the effort to say for $100 he would assess the issue by cutting out a piece of my drywall and give me a proper estimate. My fiancé and I were on board and happy to see someone take initiative like Travis. Travis then went on to find a pinhole leak in one of our old copper pipes and he right away gave us an estimate that was much more reasonable than other contractors we spoke with. Travis went on to fix our leaky pipes and found out that we replaced the wrong pipe. There was a pipe above the one we saw that was actually the cause of the leak. Travis messaged me and said that he would only charge for the additional pieces (no additional labor for his work), which was super generous and understanding of him. We got this repair done and out of the way in an efficient manner thanks to Travis' diligence. My fiance and I are now having Humboldt Renovation help us replace carpet in our house for "hardwood" vinyl, replacing our shower, and putting in a new dryer vent. I additionally want to add that I has also asked him to replace both of our garage door openers which we signed up to do and later on found out it was covered through our home warranty program. Even though I already signed for Travis to do the work, he was very understanding and let us get the repair done instead by our home warranty service. Humboldt Renovation and Design will be the only contractor we will be using around our house. He is a great person with a sweet family and does great work. Thank you Travis!!!

Over time, A & G Concrete installed a new concrete driveway and patio, repaired serious backyard drainage issues, reinforced our garage and pier/post foundation, and installed a beautiful cedar fence with a solar gate around our entire side yard. On top of that, they designed and completely replaced our kitchen, using redwood materials salvaged from earlier work they had done when replacing our garage's redwood floor with concrete. The creativity and skill involved in reusing those materials was impressive and speaks volumes about their craftsmanship. We originally chose A & G Concrete because of their creativity, fair pricing, integrity, and how easy they were to work with--and they exceeded expectations in every category. Communication was excellent every step of the way. We always knew what was happening, when it would happen, and why decisions were being made. They were punctual, professional, and respectful of our home throughout each project. What truly sets them apart is how much they care. Their pricing was extremely fair and reasonable, and they bent over backwards to accommodate our budget while still delivering high quality, long lasting solutions. They consistently worked with us to find creative options that fit our constraints without cutting corners. The quality of workmanship is outstanding. Every detail was handled with care, and it's clear they take pride in what they do. Steve and Jason, the owners, are top notch, and their entire crew was professional and skilled (Stephen in particular was fantastic--highly knowledgeable, detail oriented, and great to work with). Honestly, A & G Concrete became part of the family. It's rare to find a contractor you can fully trust--not just with the work, but with the pricing and the process. We always felt confident knowing they had our best interests in mind. If you're looking for a contractor who is skilled, creative, honest, communicative, and genuinely invested in their clients, stop looking and call A & G Concrete. We recommend them without hesitation and will absolutely use them again and again whenever we need something done.
