I was able to fix mine with some cholula sauce and some salt and pepper was a quick fix as well for my daughter. The side of green beans and carrots she got were actually pretty good so perhaps there was just a disconnect in flavor at the meat station this day. I did very much enjoy the side salad I chose instead of the veggie medley. Came with home-made ranch which brought me back to my East Texas family gatherings with the freshly shaken ranch.....it was great. The portion size was pretty fair value at $13. Callaways Coffee and Bistro popped up as a little house with adorable photos and lovely reviews and off we went. It was perfect. They have REAL FOOD here. I tried to reproduce the menu, but seriously they have pages of breakfast, salads and sandwiches. And COFFEE, of course. I had this amazing 100% Angus patty Cheeseburger - an enormous perfectly cooked patty. ($9.95) My husband ordered the Ragun Cajun, a spicy Chicken breast on ciabatta that he loved. ($9.95) They still had pie, blondies, cookies and assorted yummy sweet treats under glass. I had the Buttermilk pie with a Tender crust and totally delicious filling! ($2.75) Our server was a terrific young man; personable, helpful and a good cook! We had a good time. The bathroom is Unisex and clean. There is plenty of seating. We sat at a regular dining table, but there are plenty of tables for two or three in addition to chairs and sofas. Most parking is street side. I'm looking forward to coming back!
