I was worried that there wouldn't be any new exhibits but I was surprised and happy to find the opposite to be true. They have definitely expanded and updated since my last visit. If you enjoy true crime and/or history this is a great spot to visit. On the crime side of things they have a wide range of crimes-not just serial killers or murder. (They do have a Ted Bundy VW beetle and 2 John Wayne Gacy clown costumes on display). They also have areas for financial crimes, etc. History wise they start off in medieval era, then the Wild West, mafia to present day. Nice exhibit on 911. Interactive exhibits too, like DUI and autopsy. Well worth the price of admission to me. Easily a couple hours of stuff to do. Especially nice on a rainy day!

So this becomes a 1.5-2 hour engagement. It can be dark in areas, so if you're the owner of old eyes. Break out the iPhone flashlight. The rooms are designed to be progressive thru the years (the Middle Ages were messed up!!!). So the pacing is well thought. We went in the off season and it wasn't crowded. I could see during the season, it could be a challenge. Lots of middle aged women that listen to "those podcasts". So husbands be wary when wives start nodding at one another. A great place to go on a "weather" day. As a side note, the staff made a point of stating that all but four display items were authentic and not recreations.

From the moment you arrive and see the massive ship replica, you can tell this is something special. The exterior alone is stunning and immediately sets the tone for what's inside. As soon as you walk in, you're given a boarding pass with the name of a real passenger or crew member, which adds a deeply personal and immersive element to the visit. Throughout the museum, you follow their journey, and by the end, you find out their fate--it's a powerful and emotional touch that really connects you to the history. The exhibits are extremely well done and very interactive. You're not just looking at displays--you're experiencing them. From touching a real iceberg to feeling the sloping decks that simulate the ship's final moments, everything is designed to help you understand what it was like on board. The attention to detail is incredible, with beautifully recreated rooms like the Grand Staircase that make you feel like you've stepped back in time. The museum does an amazing job of balancing education and emotion. There's so much history to learn, with real artifacts, detailed information, and stories about passengers and crew that bring everything to life. It's clear that a lot of care and respect went into telling the story of Titanic in a meaningful way. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate, which made the experience even better. The entire facility was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, allowing you to take your time and fully enjoy each part of the museum. Overall, this is an unforgettable experience that goes far beyond a typical museum visit. Whether you're a Titanic enthusiast or just looking for something unique and meaningful to do, this is an absolute must-visit. I would highly recommend it to anyone--definitely a five-star experience.

They also have a section with memorabilia from the movie, plus an impressive LEGO model of the Titanic that comes with a really cool backstory about the person who built it. Overall, it's engaging, informative, and memorable. I would definitely visit again.

This is a great place for all ages, but I think older kids will get the most out of this interactive museum. Which was perfect for my family, as my kids fit into that "older kid" category. Packed with more than 150 interactive exhibits, we had a blast checking out all of the VR games, as well as the four-story-high, state-of-the-art Flyride, a flying adventure that makes you feel like you're really flying! What else? There are old-school video games to play, Big Foot exhibits to explore, skee-ball and basketballs to shoot in the game area, a giant white ball pit to jump into, and lots more. This is a very hands-on, interactive museum. I highly recommend Beyond the Lens for families with older kids. Sometimes, it can be hard to find things that older kids will like. But older kids will like this place! And it's also suitable for younger kids, too, so the whole family can enjoy.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The museum has two sections one that is filled with artifacts, memorabilia, models, etc. From WW1, WW2 and beyond. A wall of history of aviation from the beginning to current, also a wall of Tennessee aviation hall of fame members. The second part is the hanger which is filled with several aircrafts, military vehicles, plan parts you name it. Mark was very nice and stayed near us to explain certain things if we had any questions. He was full of information but did not hover of us and let us roam freely which was nice. They have a really good gift shop with several model airplanes, veteran merchandise l, pictures, etc. If you are in the area would recommend this location if you are interested in aviation and enjoy some history.

Aviation Museums is one of our vacation staples as my husband is an aviator and loves everything…read morerelated to aviation. We stopped by to see this place and this review is a combination of his opinion from a aviator perspective and my overall value and customer service. My biggest issue was that the promoted a "military" discount that doesn't include military spouses/dependents. It's up to the business if they want to offer a military discount but if they are going to only apply it to active duty service members then say that. I don't think it was a good value personally to pay 23$ to walk around a tiny hanger. I was also under the impression that there would be people to like talk to you about exhibits, answer questions and just overall engage with people on the topic. That is not the case, at least from our experience. Thankful my husband as a lot of aviation history knowledge and that made it engaging and enjoyable for me to know and learn about what I'm paying to see. Didn't help that the cashier made me feel terrible about asking why our total was 23$ rather than the like 16$ it should have been because I had thought the military discount would apply to both of us. Anyway, the point is I I don't think this place was worth the price and really lacks good customer service or really any customer interaction. My husbands opinion was that the exhibits seems haphazardly put together. It seemed like a hanger full of whatever planes they could get there hands on. It doesn't measure up to the other places we've been to. He did enjoyed seeing the two P-47s Warbirds and the Hollywood Exhibit with the list of movies that some of the aircraft were used in as props. Overall he says that it's not a must see for aviation buffs or enthusiasts just a good way to kill time.

What a MADHOUSE! We bought the premium tickets online, never offered the VIP. We came here at 7pm,…read morebecause the email said regular tickets come 730, VIP comes at 7. Unsure we came at 7 they said pick tickets up 720, we returned 2 lines, the only sign saying prepaid tickets proceed through scanners. Went through scanner, nope VIPs only. The security directed us to the long line that wraps half around the building. It's frustrating and we weren't the only ones to experience this. Once in line, you proceed through the metal detector, past security, there is a booth, where the employees ask your name. Once you provide it, they hand you tickets, and you proceed to the photo area. The staff takes your photos to sell to you later during the show. Before getting to the show and seating, you stay in an area where there is a 3 person band playing, and signing. They do country, as well as some classic rock. The band themselves were very good, and got the crowd to participate in their show, calling out where they are from, and being overall interactive. While in the area, they sell refreshments, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, popcorn, glasses and so on. At approximately 820pm, the staff directs you upstairs to proceed through the red curtains into the seating. If you buy regular tickets your in rows 4+ going up. These seats provide an overall better view of the arena, it's not so high you can't see, maybe 10 rows to top? The premium seats are first 3 rows, if you have small children who want to be more interactive in the show and have a better view I would recommend these seats. Our waiter Tim, was a great guy, funny, and attentive to needs. The dinner, was served, starting with a roll, vegetable soup. Next came the Cornish game hen, then mashed potatoes, corn on cob and brisket. Overall the food was good, and lots of it! You get your own mini rotisserie chicken, and 1 scoop of each of the other. Before the show starts you pick your desert, our options were apple crisp, or chocolate coconut cake. We got the crips, which came to us hot, and delicious. You can order drinks from the scan code at the table, or the waiter will come by pre show and ask what you would like to drink. Options were coke products, tea (sweet and unsweetened) lemonade, and water. Moving into the show, so first and foremost, i haven't been to a lot of dinner shows. This one however was great, they had horsemanship, races, competitions and more. Once the show begins the show master, begins by amping up the crowd, 1 side is the north, 1 side the south, they have friendly competitions for both sides during the show. They have you cheer on your team, as they race around obstacles, pick up flags and return the competing against the other side. They also do pig races, where you cheer on the north or south, overall I believe there is 10-11 completions, all fun, and gets you amped up. During the competitions they will bring out people from the crowd (2-3 times) and have them participate in the games, and also a little wagon magic tricks. Besides the completion thy putting shows such as riding horses through and around obstacles, a butterfly show (horses with wings, lights and people acting as butterfly's). They also have some aerial displays and parts of the show. Overall a fun experience minus the mass confusion at the beginning, would recommend going especially if you have children. You won't leave hungry, the food I would say is worth it, the show is worth seeing. Things worth noting, it is a little expensive, tickets for 2 can be north of $100, the drinks, for 2 plastic mason jar alcohol drinks with tip $50+. Be prepared to spend a little. 2 show times, 6 pm, and 830pm.

I don't want to give away all the acts but be on the lookout for sweet Buttercup and the races by both humans and animals. The dinner was plentiful: creamy soup, biscuit, Cornish hen, pulled pork, mashed potato, corn on the cob and refills of sweet tea, water or soft drink. You must show your id to purchase alcohol. You have a choice of coconut chocolate cake or apple turnover. You can purchase a souvenir photo for $35. They have a gift shop. The servers work super hard carrying trays of food, serving you and refilling drinks. You are deemed either North or South based on where you are sitting around the arena. The competition lasts pretty much throughout the show. If you purchased VIP tickets you can pet one of the performing horses after the show.
