Always a pleasure taking my dog to The Dogsmith. Just call In advance as they are usually always busy

This the 1st and only groomer I take my puppy too. I love the way they treat their customers and the animals. If I could give 10 stars I would. Apollo and Adam are magnificent and my baby just loves them. read more

The Dogsmith - Pet Groomers Near Me - Palmdale, California

I had my dog Ruby washed and groomed here. They did an amazing job on her. She was pretty dirty and needed a good clip and shave. When my husband picked her up he couldn't believe it was the same dog. She looked super clean and her coat was and felt really soft. She smelled good too. They did a great job trimming her all up. I would recommend them to everyone. They were able to get us in when needed and they were pretty fast in getting her done. We will be coming back to have our dogs groomed here. read more

I just had wonderful service from this place. From the first phone call, to the visit, to the pickup. They took wonderful care of my dog. Who needed a little extra T.LC. I will definitely be taking my dog back. Thanks guys! read more

Fantastic groomer. We took our very fluffy Samoyed here months ago and we were thoroughly impressed. It's not easy to groom such a furry dog, but they tackled the job with no problem. They were very friendly and Luna loved going - and we loved how professional and kind they were! Because they are 30 mins from us, we tried a different place a friend recommended that was closer to us. That was a mistake! We will now be going back to the Dogsmith because they are well worth the drive for our pup to be happy and well-groomed! read more

The groomer I spoke to was exceptionally friendly. Their prices are great! And when we picked up our dog they had given her a beautiful cut, trimmed her nails, serviced her anal gland, and provided a nice bandana! I will be returning often. read more

OMG! APOLLO IS AMAZING! I needed to get my Shih tzu a hair cut quickly as we had just found out he needed surgery and the vet was doing it on Tuesday. It was Saturday early afternoon and we had been to the vet, our dog needed surgery. I asked how soon and they said, we should do it on Tuesday morning. We asked how long he would have stitches, because he was due to get his haircut, they said it would be several weeks. Well we could not let him be in this heat for several weeks, without a hair cut. Anyway we called about 15 groomeries to get his hair done by Tuesday, no one had anything open, even after we explained the situation. We found APOLLO'S number just as we were about to give up, we explained and he did not hesitate to squeeze our baby in. Apollo stated, that the dog should not have to wait that long in this heat to get a hair cut. Apollo told us to bring him straight in. Upon arrival, Apollo greeted us, got familiar with our dog and took him in straight away. I'll tell you my dog looked, great after Apollo cut his hair. I loved the cut! We will definitely go back to him. He took the time out of his day to make sure our baby got his hair cut so that he would be more comfortable in the heat after his surgery. Apollo knows his business well and knows how to treat animals with care. My dog loved him. We truly can't Thank you enough, we will tell everyone we meet about you. God Bless!! Thank you!! read more

They did a great job on my mutt Ginger. And Ginger really took a shine to them too. Very happy!

I'm so thankful that Apollo finally agreed, although hesitantly which I understand, to groom my poodle mix Banjo. I contacted 2 other groomers that refused to touch him. He has bone cancer and has a mass on his face that doesn't look the greatest because of the blood matted fur. I'm really appreciative that you took a chance and groomed my old man. He looks so much better and so handsome with his Halloween scarf. read more

The Best Grooming! I'm always nervous of my senior poodle since he is deaf and I'm very protective of him especially since he has skin tags on his body and the past groomers left him bloody with cuts. Apollo always makes me feel comfortable and this is the 4 or 5th visit we have here and not one complaint! I highly recommend it here. Apollo keep doing what your doing especially the customer service and friendliness. Rocky and I thank u! read more

Apollo is the best Corgi dog groomer! Our dog Browley only goes to see Apollo for all his grooming needs. We live in Santa Clarita and we drive to Palmdale to see Apollo. It's worth the drive for my fur baby! Apollo is the most caring and professional groomer and I am so happy that he started his own dog grooming business. He is so caring, welcoming, greets your dog, and meets the customers in person. Browley needed his nails done because they were getting long during quarantine. I only trust Apollo with his nails because he never makes his nails bleed and takes good care of his paws. Other places have left Browley's nails bleeding after a trim but this is never the case with Apollo. As soon as dog grooming salons were allowed to re-open due to Covid-19, we made our appointment. Browley also needed his corgi momo (corgi butt) trim and Apollo is the EXPERT! Other places never perfected the art of the corgi momo trim until we met Apollo. Apollo is very well trained on different dog breeds' grooming needs. I can tell he knows his stuff because when we first met Apollo, we were so relieved to hear him explain to us how he will be grooming Browley because he is a Corgi. Groomers at other salons don't know that Corgis are supposed to be groomed differently. Apollo does his homework. Browley got everything done today. He got his nails done, bath, ears cleaned, teeth cleaned and his paws are sooooo soft!!!! He also got a cute bandana!! Oh and he smells really good too. read more

Apollo is very sweet and did a great job on my dog. Give this place a chance, great service.

We are so excited to have found The Dogsmith! Our puppy needed a bath, nail trimming and was shedding like crazy! We couldn't be happier with his amazing services...great facility, took such good care of our puppy and made him feel so spoiled with his little bandana! We even let him pick out a new toy which has quickly become his new favorite! Thank you so much Apollo! Our go to groomer for sure!!! read more

They were very kind and nurturing to my maltipoo. They paid attention to what I said and first time is a learning curve. We will bring her back when it is time to groom her again but we were pleased. No cuts or nicks. read more

Pretty much the Cadillac of dog grooming. As long as I have my dog this is where he will be groomed. I have a puppy that's been digging (fur was full of loose dirt) and shedding like crazy... he came back with a shiny coat, smelled great and no loose undercoat. They even brushed his teeth! Price was super reasonable too, especially considering the quality. Seriously... stop shopping around and go here. You won't regret it! read more

I love this groomer!!! Best customer service. great prices, and all-around just a great place. Definitely recommend for your little pup.

First of, thank you very much my man for your patience with Marshall, a brand new malti-poo to the groomers, and loud buzzing sounds. Marshall is a baby about 4 months old, and for the first time we dropped him off at a groomers to get his very first groom. He's not the easiest pup to hold since his energy level is over 100 he's like a bunny almost. Dog smith was very understanding and he knew how to deal with a energetic pup, he was able to groom him, trim his nails, brush his teeth, and he did it all while Marshall was being a bunny, I don't know how, but my man at dog smith got it done we thank you a lot! The result was great, Marshall was looking like a whole new pup! We will definitely be back, compassion, and care is what we were looking for, and we had originally scheduled an appointment with petsmart, boy an o glad that they called us and told us they had to cancel our appointment because we're bringing in a new puppy to them, and they didn't care much about new customers as they do to old customers. ‍ maybe petsmart has too many regulars. I don't know, but everything happens for a reasons, and we are sure glad we had this first time experience with Dogsmith. Great guy, good personality, and very caring for the pups. Thank yo read more

I've been looking for a new groomer and came across The Dogsmith. I sent a message for pricing and availability and I received a response from Apollo in less then 10 minutes. I took my snorkie in for her haircut, she went in looking hairy and a little dirty and came out looking like a brand new doggie. Her coat was soft, shiny and smelling good. When Apollo came out to greet me he was nice, friendly and addressed any concerns before he took my baby aloha in. He made sure that she was comfortable before he took her in. The pricing is reasonable, I will definitely be coming back and support our small businesses. read more
