I tried their regular tacos, quesabirria tacos, and a quesadilla. I arrived around 5:45pm, but they oddly started closing up right after I got my food even though their posted hours said they were open until 7pm. As for the food itself, the meat was disappointingly tough and chewy, like a jerky texture. I'm usually all for a greasy taco, but these were excessively greasy and felt overly heavy after one bite. The quesabirria tortillas didn't even seem like they had been dipped in the consommé, which took away from the flavor and texture I was expecting.

My favorite cut was either the cabeza or the lengua, both were very tender and can compete with some of the spots down in San Diego. Will definitely be coming back They have a small bar area to stand and eat the tacos as well as a single plastic table with 4 chairs behind their truck, off the side walk. Chill vibes.

Prices were reasonable and in line with other taco trucks and local spots. The food came out fresh and hot, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. I also love the variety on the menu and meat options--everything from asada and pollo to chitlins, barbacoa, and more. The asada was seasoned really well without being overly salty, and the red salsa that came with the tacos was delicious. Flavorful without the overwhelming heat you get at a lot of other places. I'm excited to go back and try more items on their menu--especially the breakfast burritos!

The deal is 4 tacos for $10, with 5 meat choices. I ended up getting 2 carne asada tacos and 2 al pastor tacos. For the deal, I expected small tacos but was pleasantly surprised that they were a decent size. The tacos were double corn tortillas and were filled with tender meat. It was actually overflowing without even taking a bite! Topped with onion and cilantro, each taco was delicious and flavorful. I like that they weren't stingy with the limes either. Steak is always my favorite but the pork was quite good. All in all, this was such a good deal. Tacos can be pricey nowadays and this works just fine for me.
