    The legendary taco truck.
    Zita M.

Love love love this taco truck. I first found it on accident in the hood and now I follow them all over in town. Not sure if it's the salsa or the perfectly seasoned meats on the tacos or the REAL avocados - it's always delicious. Authentic flavors, great spices, been chasing them for about 8 years :) I always get the spicy deluxe steak tacos. Its a must try !

East bay burrito review #32 First taste 6/7 Meat 7/7 Beans 5/7 Rice 5/7 Cheese 6/7 Tortilla 5/7 Salsa 7/7 Overall 6/7 rounded up. Pretty damn good overall. Would have preferred refried beans and a crispier tortilla but the steak and salsa were excellent. The whole burrito has great texture and balance of flavors.

Solid tacos! It's on a little side street in West Oakland. $3 regular tacos, $4 super tacos loaded. I tried and enjoyed both types. Carnitas, al pastor, asada. Plus, radish and other pickled veggies. I wish I had been hungrier! So much other good stuff to try!

Step aside Sinaloa, Taco Panzon is now my go-to for carnitas and al pastor tacos that is tastier and at a better cost! The meat on the carnitas has a delectable tenderness with a slight bite/crunch to it that is sublime. It's not as oily as Sinaloa's, and when paired with a side of cucumber, is pretty refreshing. The al pastor has a sweet taste and is not shy about being bold in BBQ flavor. The tacos come up with your usual radish, pickled carrots, jalapeno and sauce (mild or spicy), and also cucumber. You can see and taste the individual ingredients in the sauce that they use for the tacos. And the spicy version is pretty forward -- I would say it's spicier than the average. I also like their deluxe carne asada burrito which is a relatively thin but long, and tastes pretty good too. It's fairly balanced in taste with sour cream and beans, and won't leave you feeling too overwhelmed. I like ordering this with 4 carnita/pastor tacos. Martha and staff are friendly and courteous. I managed to spot them a few times at GhostTown Brewing off Adeline on some weekends from 2pm-8pm , but otherwise you're better off catching them around lunchtime off Campbell and West Grand. If you want to be sure, you can always call Martha, who can tell you where and when they will be serving. They take credit cards too.

You can find the taco panzon most days at the intersection of Campbell and grand from 12:15 pm. This food truck is amazing. Really. The entire ambiance, the crew that frequents it; it is a community you want to be a part of. They have two chairs you can sit on and gulf down some tacos and be on your way. Not somewhere to sit and dine but for a quick pick me up it is highly recommended. Food quality is too notch, pickled jalapeños and zuccini and generous avocado portions with the taco orders when you ask for everything on em. Can't hype it enough! But don't expect to wine and dine, it's a food truck.

The Taco Panzon is definitely an oldie and a goodie. the faded paint doesn't denotes it's faded glory. it's an exclamation to the adage; "if it ain't broke. don't fix it". don't be deterred when cashier says everything is out. whatever u want will be ready in 20 minutes. basically i tried to order what they had, which was basically nothing. pleasantly surprised i got my order on time without a number given. offerings: tortas, burritos, tacos, quesadillas, eats: birria. asada tacos @2.25 -filled to brim with tender, moist, juicy proteins, -topped with onions, cilantro, mild salsa -sides of cucumber chucks, lime squeeze, radish slices, large jalepeno. frijoles refritoes: -cashier is a real pro, will ask u pertinent q's at end as to mild/hot salsa, do u want order wrapped in plastic? etc. -she did remember to call me directly 20 minuntes later. -patrons seem to be regulars. almost everyone lines up accordingly, waiting for their food. -taco truck is on campbell a few cars away from w. grand.

Martha is such a sweet and friendly person! Even though I live in The East now, I come back to The West just to get burritos from Martha! I have been coming to get burritos from her since 2010 and have never stopped :) When Martha started doing pop-ups at ghost town brewery it made me really happy that I could come to her on the weekends since I don't work nearby and could no longer come to her during the week. It has been both a joyous and serendipitous surprise to find out that she was also open on the weekends at ghost town brewery!

Al pastor, carnitas, and asada deluxe tacos were f'ing delicious. Chicharron taco was bland, soggy, and mushy. Choose your proteins wisely!

If there was ever a time to take a flight across country and break into a taco truck, this was it! Fortunately, I visited during business hours so I was able to call ahead. Let me start by saying this was the best Mexican food I have ever eaten, previously, I lived in Northern California for 10 years prior to moving to the east coast. Where all Mexican food is garbage.... I landed at SFO, picked up my Rental car, and called in my order, 1 asada burrito regular, 4 tacos, 2 chicken and 2 asada. Everything was delicious. The lady taking my order was friendly, and warned me against the hot sauce. She told me it would be 20 minutes, which the GPS confirmed, however I took a wrong turn... When I arrived she told me my food had been ready for a while, and I gave her the $20. I sat in my car an killed 4 tacos, probably could have eaten the burrito two but paced myself. An hour into my journey, I opened the burrito and ate it as I drove, not only was it delicious but, full of meat! Sketchy neighborhood for sure, but I will definitely be back when I'm back in California.

Generous portions and freshly cooked ingredients.

Don't be fooled by the location and lunch-only hours. This truck is delicious, consistent, and hits the spot every single time. $10 gets me a huge vegan burrito, pickled veggies, and chips & salsa. The owner, Martha, is a fantastic human being with huge ambitions for this truck, so support a POC woman-owned business and tell all of your friends! She even let me take photos one day to help show everyone how awesome they are. Yelp needs to add this as a lunch location ASAP. Cash only but they're working on a card option. I love the Taco Panzon!

But since then and nowadays they have tougher competition that I prefer to go to over them and recently started to develop a hate and love relationship here. It used to be my die hard go to taco truck. This truck for me makes delicious carnitas burritos and pollo tacos. And a sleeper is the al pastor burrito and suadero tacos. That al pastor isn't made from the trompo but the seasoning and juiciness of their version in the burrito is what makes it one of the best burrito options on there if you haven't tried it. Carnitas burritos is super delicious because you get that nice crispiness of the fried tender pork with the rice, cheese and sour cream. I like to ask for onions, cilantro and tomato in mines for variety and freshness to cut the heaviness of the fats and dairy. Tacos I normally would get or recommend is the Carnitas, Pollo, Cabeza, Suadero, and Asada. Carnitas are as delicious as explained with the burrito. Pollo or known as chicken tacos are super tender and juicy. It's also very flavorful, and one of my favorite chicken tacos to get here because most places don't make chicken very well and are usually very dry. The cabeza is super tender and a great option. Suadero just like the asada is just a better version of the asada cut. It's packed with more flavor and seasoning than the asada and slightly more tender which is why I prefer it to the regular steak. I tend to find the asada more dry and sometimes tough. Recently the pricing doesn't reflect on the fairness of the portion size. $4 tacos but the meats aren't as packed. Felt like they started to skimp because of rising costs but has been happening before then. $15 burrito but the sizing isn't as filling as it used to be. I started to see more rice than meat. They've also started to be very stingy with a huge attitude especially the gentleman that works on the pick up station when asking for extra pickled veggies, limes and salsa. And it happens every time for the past several years now. For example he gave me 2 limes, 4 pieces of sliced pickled carrots, 2 slices of pickled jalapenos, 3 radishes, and 1 rojo salsa for an order of a super burrito and 7 tacos. When I asked for extras the gentleman gave me an attitude and said he already did and won't give more. Only reason I still go here is because it's close to home and if my favorite spots for tacos are closed for the night.

The vibe is great, and the food definitely delivers on flavor. We tried quite a bit--the first Friday taco, chicken sandwiches, Mexican hot dog, and asada tacos--and everything was honestly amazing. It was so good that we came back the next day before leaving town just to have it again. Service was about an 8/10. The only reason I didn't rate it higher was due to one moment that didn't sit right with me. I watched a waitress bring out fries to a guest, the guest started eating them, and then she came back to say it was a mistake and took them away after he was already halfway through. That just didn't feel very service-oriented. In a situation like that, it would have been better to acknowledge the mistake and let the guest keep the fries on the house. Taking back half-eaten food felt like poor judgment. That said, the overall experience was still very positive. Great atmosphere, great flavors, and definitely a spot I'd recommend checking out if you're in the area.

I will admit I overdid it by checking out the exhibits at the museum weekly where I made a friend Preston, the Emcee at the Oakland Museum of California. Over 10 different food trucks to chose from. The highest food trucks they had at the market was up to 20 during the summer time. It is worth coming down to Oakland Museum to see all the different food trucks they have.
