I met up with a friend here based on the great reviews. I was a little worried when I was first sat as the menus we were given were very tattered and in terrible shape. It made me think that attention to detail might not be so great here. Luckily, things only went up from this point. We sat on the patio on a pretty hot day, but there was a very nice breeze throughout our meal. The prices of everything were extremely reasonable esp. for the portion sizes. Our server was attentive and patient with us as my friend and I had not seen each other in over 30 years, so we had a lot of catching up to do. The chicken tenders were some of the best I've ever had. I added the lemon pepper seasoning and it really was delicious. I would definitely stop in when in the Jackson area again. Love the chicken tenders and the boneless wings! Every sauce I have tried is good, but the sriracha bourbon and maple bacon are my favorites! Nice ranch dressing, too. They have a ton of beers on tap. The buffalo chicken dip, onion rings, and fries are all good, too! The super hot sauce is unlike a lot of places as it does not sacrifice good flavor for intense heat. It's definitely very hot, but still flavorful! Their Cajun ranch and dirty sauce are good, too! Service is always great - in my 10+ times visiting there has never been a long wait on food, even on busy nights. Generous pours on mixed drinks and the "crack" chicken is amazing. Wish there was an extra star because they now have live music Fridays during the summer! read more

I was also very impressed with the food I ordered the chicken fingers and they were HUGE and cooked perfectly with just the right amount of breading. Dirty Bird is a great spot to have a beer, great selection of micro brew. The Chicken tenders are amazing - made right in house and Dirty Bird offers a great variety of sauces. Excellent menu choices - the salads are great too. The location can be a bit noisy and the tables are close together so be aware of this if entertaining for business. Great Spot ! read more

The Buffalo chicken dip appetizer is amazing. The service is hit or miss. They do have an admirable tap list.

We got a grilled chicken salad, appetizer sampler and quesadilla. Is there no kids menu? If there is then our waitress didn't give us one so I had to order a quesadilla for the child, no big deal just sort of strange. My salad came out with mostly brown, dissolving, mushy lettuce. The avocados were cut too early and were sour.. Not palatable at all. I'll give them this one since avocados can be tricky for a cook that doesn't eat them or hasn't worked with them before. So the manager took my salad and brought me a new one, no questions asked and I thought that was great. It was a bummer when the second salad was only slightly less brown and the avocados still inedible. They did at least attempt to fix their mistake so I would probably come back and chock it up to new cooks. read more

Pleasant setting with very good, attentive servers. Can be crowded at peak lunch, but usually they find room for you. Nice selection of beers (wish they had more imports) -- a variety of brews available at fair prices. Food offerings are large portions. Should rename dirty beer. Went there last Friday meeting coworkers I thought they where in the service industry. Wrong!!!! Had more than 6 people their biggest table tried to get waitress to let us put two tables together she was not able too make that decision. Asked hostess who was more interested in standing by the door than to take care of customers that were already in their business. So we ended up with 10 people at a 6 top. Tried to order beer half the taps were so Dirty that they wouldn't pour the other 1/2 drizzled out flat off tasting nasty beer. Hence their new name DIRTY BEER. WOULD NOT GO BACK, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Get there kinda early, it fills up quick, it's a bit on the small side, patio seating is very nice on a cool night.
